Katy Perry Super Bowl 2015 Halftime Show Makeup Tutorial

**Katy Perry Super Bowl Halftime Show Inspired Makeup Tutorial**

In this makeup tutorial, I'll be recreating the iconic look of Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show performance. The overall aesthetic is bright and bold, with a focus on vibrant colors and creative techniques. To start, I'm applying a base to my eyelids using Mac Soft Ochre Paint Pop to prevent creasing and ensure a smooth canvas for the rest of the makeup.

First, I'm applying a light-colored eyeshadow to the entire lid, from the crease up to the brow bone, using a large eyeshadow brush and a gentle sweeping motion. This helps to blend out the crease color and create a seamless transition between shades. Next, I'm taking a grayish color from the Tarte Tartlet Palette and applying it to the crease with a Zoe 227 brush. I'm not cutting the crease too harshly, but rather creating a subtle definition that adds depth to the eye.

To soften the edges of the crease color, I'm using a light gray shade from the Zoe Smoky Eyeshadow Palette and applying it with a small brush, starting at the inner corner and working my way outward. This helps to create a seamless transition between the different shades and prevents any harsh lines from forming. With the lid now defined, I'm moving on to the next step: blending.

For the lower lash line, I'm using a brown shade from the Tarte Li Palette and applying it with a pencil brush, starting at the inner corner and working my way outward. To diffuse the color and create a soft, natural look, I'm gently blending the edges of the liner with a light touch. This helps to prevent any harsh lines or visible edges from forming.

Now it's time to add some drama to the look with the wing liner. I'm taking my Kat V Tattoo Liner in Trooper and applying it in thick, bold strokes to create a dramatic effect. Next, I'm using the NYC Black Liquid Liner to add more definition to the wings and create a sharp, precise line.

To add an extra touch of glamour to the look, I'm creating my own glitter eyeliner by mixing a liquid adhesive with a generous amount of glitter from the Lit Clearly Glitter Base in Marilyn Monroe Size Number Three. With an eyeliner brush, I'm carefully applying the glitter mixture along the upper lash line, creating a sparkly, eye-catching effect.

With the eyes now complete, I'm moving on to the rest of the face. To contour my cheekbones, I'm using the Ilam Musca Eyeshadow in Heroin and applying it with a small brush, starting at the highest point of the cheekbone and working my way down to the jawline. This helps to create a defined, sculpted look that adds depth and dimension to the face.

Next, I'm bronzing up my face using Refined Golden Bronzer Powder by Mac, applying it sparingly with a small brush to create a natural-looking glow. To add some color to the cheeks, I'm using Vintage Grape Ombre Blush by Mac, taking only the pink side and applying it to the apples of the cheeks with a light hand. This helps to create a subtle, natural-looking flush that adds warmth and depth to the face.

Finally, I'm finishing off the look with some lip color. For this, I'm using Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Uh Lipstick in American Doll, a slightly darkened true red shade that complements the bold colors of the eyes and lips.

on fleek I can't we talk about Missy Elliot anyways without any further Ado if you want to learn how to get this makeup look right here then please stay tuned all right so the first thing I'll be doing for my face is applying my primer SL base for the glow for the glow to happen so the first product I'll be using is by Too Faced and this is The Hangover replenishing face primer and to give myself that glow I'm using the Becca shimmering skin perfector in Pearl so this mixture is going right onto the face okay then for foundation I'm going to take the Mac face and body in C1 and the Mac Studio sculp in nc15 and a subscriber commented on one of my last videos that this combo is awesome so I tried it and she was super duper red it's totally awesome it gives her face a really nice glowy feel but it still covers and makes you look Flawless so I'm going to be mixing these two together and that will be my foundation and then bluffing it in with a brush and the brush I'm using is by Sigma and it's the f88 okay once I've got that that on I'm going to conceal and I'm using my prolong wear by Mac and I'm applying this right underneath my eyes to highlight along the bridge of my nose forehead basically basically everywhere you think I'm pretty without any makeup F not here and now I'm taking my real technique sponge and I'm blending this all in and then quickly I'm going to set that using my stick secret brightening powder by Laura merche okay so first things first I'm first applying a base to my eyelids to prevent everything from creasing and I'm using my Mac soft ochre paint pop for this then with a large eyeshadow brush and a light colored eyeshadow I'm running this from the crease up to my brow bone and what this will do is help blend out the crease color easier prettier and better the first crease color I'm going to take comes from the tarte tartlet palette and it's this grayish color right here and with a zoa 227 I'm going to start applying this to the crease and we're not really cutting the crease but we definitely do want a prominent crease so go ahead and carve in that crease right here then I also go ahead and Wing that out just slightly then with a light gray color I'm going to diffuse the edges and make it look more soft and the ey Shadow I'm using comes from the zoa Smoky eyeshadow palette and it's this grayish color right here for the lid I'm taking this color by anase Bly Hills and this is Blanc just pack it onto the lid and for this I'm using a zoa 234 for the inner corner I'm taking the NYX jumbo pencil in cottage cheese as my base and I'm going to set that using makeup studios's dual effects and Shine for the lower lash line I'm taking this brown from the tart Li palette and this goes from inner to Outer corner and then with a pencil brush I'm going to diffuse that out and blend it a little bit more down and then now it's time for the wing liner and the glitter liner so first I'm taking my Kat V tattoo liner in Trooper to lay down a base for my eyeliner and you want to go thick and bold and I'm going to fill this in using the NYC black liquid liner and then for the glitter what you want to do is create your own glitter eyeliner and you can do this by mixing a glitter adhesive with the glitter so I'm taking the lit clearly liquid glitter base as my adhesive and the glitter I'm using is also by lit and this is Marilyn Monroe size number three so my mixture looks like this and then with an eyeliner brush you just want to apply that and then you can always go back in with the black to clean up the black now I'm taking the essence long lasting liquid eye pencil in hot chocolate and that is going on my waterline okay now all you want to do is finish off by applying some mascara and falsies and today I'll be using the house of lashes iconics so for the cheeks first I'm going to Contour my face using my ilam musca eyeshadow in heroin and the brush I'm using is by Mac and it's the 163 and Katie has killer cheekbones so make sure that you work those cheekbones in girl then I'm going to further bronze up my face using refined golden bronzing powder by Mac and and I'm using the makeup studio s so1 brush and just a tiny teeny bit of this well actually no because Katie was a bronzer on then for blush Katie wore a really nice grapey pink and for that I'll be using vintage grape ombre blush by Mac and I'm taking the pink side only and I'm I'm using a light hand for this because you definitely don't want this to be right there and just onto the apples of the cheeks blending back into the bronzer I'm using my Becca shimmering skin perfector in so just because this gives me the most outstanding glow of life so first of all highest cheek highest cheek you know the highest points of the cheekbones this was a must for this look then also Bridge of the nose and you know I have to do this tip of the nose and just the tiniest bit right here on the forehead that's it that's that's it you don't want any more glow all right for lips you want to go for a slightly darkened true red and for this I'll be using an Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid uh lipstick and this is American doll and that guys concludes this Katy Perry Super Bowl halftime show inspired makeup tutorial I hope you enjoyed I loved it for a full list of every single product mentioned and used go to my website nck
