Apple iPhone 5c Case (All Colors)

iPhone 5c Case Review: A Comprehensive Look at Apple's Official Leather and Plastic Cases

To open these cases, all you have to do is peel up this tab, which peels right out. Here is just one of the cases, and as you can see, it's a plastic case with a felt liner. The felt liner is not color-keyed in this instance; however, if you have the 5S leather case, the felt liner is color-matched to the foam or the outside of the case.

Looking at the back of the iPhone, you'll see "iPhone designed by Apple assembled in China" printed on it. On the inside, you can see the Apple logo, and the felt liner completely wraps the interior of the case. The buttons are indeed covered, and they do operate through the case, as you can see. There were perforations here, which allowed the color of your phone to shine through.

Let's go ahead and install one of these cases on the iPhone, so you can see Pop It on the iPhone and see one big problem that a lot of people dislike – the non-phone design looks like it covers part of the iPhone. This gives an undesirable effect, but you can still see that one of the things they wanted to highlight is the satin finish on the outside, which matches or complements the glossy material of the 5C.

Looking at the front of the phone, you can see that we have the color of the phone shine through along the edges, which is also intentional. This allows you to see the Native color of the iPhone 5C without completely obscuring it from all directions. You can see it on the front, on the back, and around the camera lens. There's an ample cutout here for the camera, and you can also see that this is a really low-profile case, which doesn't add a lot of bulk.

On the bottom, you'll find the cutouts for the speaker, lightning connector, headphone jack, and microphone. You have the volume rock or volume buttons up and down, which do feel a little bit impeded through this case. There's also a cutout for the mute switch, which is a bit more difficult to operate with its small size. You'll find your sleep wake button up here as well.

The case design is laid-on-table style, meaning that this case allows the phone to rest off the surface of a table and lay flat, without allowing the glass to touch it. It provides some protection by doing so. The case is pretty tight, which doesn't flex too much, so it doesn't allow a lot of stuff to get into it. However, because the back is open, there's an opportunity for dust and grit to work their way in.

The case is lined with microfiber material, which does stabilize any dust or grit that might get in there. It's easy to take off, but the microfiber material is also what keeps things out of the case. However, you'll probably find dust and grit getting into it eventually. Despite this, the case still provides a nice seal on those ports.

For those who prefer the monochromatic look, these cases do match the colors of the 5C, as seen in various shades of green, blue, and black. However, there is one notable difference – the texture. You have your matte texture versus your glossy texture, which gives each case a unique feel. The white case, for example, looks almost identical to the iPhone itself, while the other colors are more vibrant.

In conclusion, these cases do offer a range of color options and textures that can complement or match the iPhone 5C. While they're not perfect, with some drawbacks like the non-phone design, they still provide a nice protective layer for your phone without adding too much bulk.

do have a lay on table design basically meaning that this case does allow allow the phone to rest off the surface of a table and you lay it flat so it won't completely allow the glass to touch the gives an opportunity for things to kind of work into this case like dust and grit but because the case is lined with a microfiber material it does a it does stabilize any dust or grit that might get in there it's pretty easy to take off it's you know pretty tight and secure but it is pretty easy to take off so you can see all that microfiber material is all around those Port uh those holes so it does help to seal up those holes uh but again you're probably going to find dust and grit sort of getting in there eventually now if you're like me and prefer the monochromatic look these cases do match the colors of the 5c so for example we have our green 5C if we put that on here fits pretty well there so you can see it matches it pretty well there's just a difference in the texture here so we have that matte texture versus that glossy texture so otherwise it does a pretty good job complimenting the color of your iPhone 5c so as you can see all these colors match perfectly to the 5c cases the only difference is the texture of the material so white is the same white which is actually pretty hard to achieve blue is the same blue etc etc and of course you have that black case as well and just to confirm for you all the interior felt liners are the same gray color across all colors all right guys so that is the official iPhone 5c case I think this is one of my favorite color combinations the black and the white you have the black font the black Apple logo the black screen with the white on the back and around the edge of the glass I think that looks pretty sharp so
