I'm done away because Christmas is over now even though I slow myself up because I just can't let it go. The next book I bought is Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum, and I don't know but the cover has waffles on it which is all you really need to know right? Because it's waffles. I have been eyeing this one a Target for a while. You ever have those books you walk around for a while you're like I'm not sure I'm not sure, and then I had a gift card and I was like well I'm sure now. This is a contemporary book and it's about a girl named Jesse and she is starting her junior year at a Prep School in LA and she's really having a hard time with it that she gets an email from a person calling themselves somebody sln nobody SN for sure almost like screen name for all the M users out there who use screen names and had away messages, I'm with you. I was all about the a um so they help navigate her the they help to navigate her through the new journey of her new prep school and it's all about that and I think she begins to rely on this person and she begins to maybe have feelings for this person she doesn't know who it is.

I've heard really cute things about this book, and honestly I always like having a few contemporary books on my shelves because they're like I said they're kind of my go-to especially when I'm in a slump. Because I just know that they'll get me out of it, and I just enjoy contemporaries. I didn't read too many in 2016 but 2017 I want to keep it that way but I want to read a little bit more because I just love contemporaries so much honestly the next book is an arc and Bloon three sent it to me, and it's called Letters to the Loss by Bridget Kemmer. This one sounds so awesome all about a girl named Juliet who always always writes letters to her mother even after her mother's death. She leaves letters on the grave on her grave is the only way she can cope and it's about this guy named Dean who he is having a court order community service at the local Cemetery which why would they do that there I don't know but he um sees all these notes and I think he's they he starts writing back to her and they start writing back and forth, and it sounds really cool. But it also sounds very like creepy like I love the whole like secret pen pal thing but secret pen pal is when you're writing to your dead mother.

I feel like the de guy like why do you pick up this letter and read it and then he's like oh I think it's okay for me to read these letters, I'm like no that that's not okay, you should not be reading those letters, those are for her mother. So I think it's going to be awesome but I just can't get past that notion of like that's kind of weird. But I really am intrigued by it and the cover is beautiful it's got all these paper roses with letters on them with letters actually on them so it's beautiful. I want to check this one out because it sounds very interesting, it sounds like it's going to be very heartbreaking book which I do enjoy those books but they break my heart because they are heartbreaking.

Last book Hartine sent to me, and it's another Arc, and that is Spindle Fire by Lexa Hille. This is actually in my most anticipated releases for 2017 this is a new book I don't know if it's a series or a standalone I'm not too sure but this is all about a like dark Rapunzel that's basically it honestly that's all I need to know because I do love me a dark fairy tale retelling any day of the week. So that was all the books I received SL bought for the month of December there is a lot to add to my shelves which I'm nervous about because I don't know if I have any more room.

knows me so well a new books I've been talking about for a while so I actually got a few for Christmas so I'm going to start with those the first book he got me is the case of Beast explore the film Wizardry of fantastic beast and this is written by Mark Salsbury I love this this is such a beautiful book they released so many new Fantastic Beast books and I want them all but they're all expensive so I was like I'm just going to pick one for right now and maybe in you know half a year so I can get another one because you got to save for these babies cuz they're expensive but I picked this one because it is just beautiful it's it's like nudes briefcase it opens like this and I mean there's no explanation needed for these books they're just so beautiful and they're just so interactive as well this is um her little like thing on here awesome and I love that you can use you can pull out things and stuff like that I mean this is just awesome like I said I would love to own every single thing that Harry Potter makes whether it be fantastic Beast related or not because they're just all so stunning I'm excited that he got me this because it's just beautiful I can't wait to like take bookstagram photos for this one because that is just the dream the next two books he got me he got me Illumina and gemina by Amy Kaufman and Jay Kristoff I have been wanting these for a while in fact I actually tried reading illuminade this past year I actually listened to it and I didn't I didn't like listening to it because I feel like this is such a multimedia book that you really have to read it in my personal opinion I could be wrong I've heard the Audi book is amazing but I feel like with multi with multimedia books you really have to read them in like person because they're just so interactive so like I said this one is multimedia but let's just talk about the cover the cover it already is a thing of beauty but you can take it off and look at that it's like blacked out and stuff like that these covers are just so stunning but like I said this is to multimedia it's got a lot of like a lot of IMS a lot of text a lot of um blacked out things a lot of sharpies in here this is all about it's like a space book it's a Sci-Fi book that's all I really know it's about a spacecraft and they are up in space and like a thing happens and a war happens between these two spacecraft crafts I don't know too much about it I feel like you can go into this with not knowing too much about it and really love it so I am very excited to finally to finally read this series and yeah Gemini is just this beautiful I haven't really looked in this one because again I don't I don't want to spoil myself but again it's like the same thing a lot of TOs and IMS and blacked out text and all that stuff but I am super excited to get into the series because I have heard nothing and literally nothing but phenomenal things about this series so and I and I need to read more sci-fi so I'm excited to Venture into this world of sci-fi look at these spines they're just I can't wait to put them on my shelf because they are just so beautiful last book you got me is sounds like me by Sarah Burell if you didn't know I love Sarah Burell she is one of my all-time favorite um singers I just love the way she writes her lyrics I love the way she sings I love the story she puts in her songs they're just so beautiful and gripping so basically this is a very very short book I don't know what's up with the freaking Memoir type books lately being shorter than ever like I don't even know if this is one's even 200 pages only 186 like that's a tiny book guys tiny um she'll talk about the song She's written so far and tell you the story behind the song so I'm excited to read more about that I don't think sadly it doesn't have anything about waitress in it oh she does have the waitress in here she also wrote the songs from waitress the musical which I am obsessed with I know a lot of people are obsessed with Hamilton but I am obsessed with waitress the musical like because I love Sarah Barella so much so I'm so excited to quickly read this because this is going to take no time at all all and just learn more about the stories behind her songs and things like that so I'm excited and he actually got me a few other bookish things hopefully I can show you them he actually got me three Funko figurines I'm not really into pop funkos but I knew I wanted a few Harry Potter ones cuz those are the ones I'm only interested in so I got Harry and his quidd uniform and this one's my favorite because it's so detailed he's got a snitch and he's got his Firebolt or his nipp is 2000 no it says nimus it even says nimus 2000 on it so that's pretty awesome and then we have Ron Weasley and he has his broken wand so this is like an early on Ron Weasley cuz he's got his broken wand so I love that I love how orange his hair is like this is like a carrot orange up in here and then lastly we have Hermione Granger just looking classically Hermione Granger so I love all of these they're so awesome so I'm just excited to put these on my Harry Potter shelf I just need like Dumbledore and I'll be happy with my set because these are just awesome so I love my husband that he knows me so very much and the last bookish thing he got me is actually he is so very thoughtful for this he actually bought me this beautiful frame from TJ Maxx and he got this print out from Etsy and it says after all this time always and it's got a dough on it to signify um Lily's Patronis and snap's Patronis I just love that he was so thoughtful for this he found a Harry Potter print he got this beautiful frame and he put it in and he he's like I think you would be great on your bookshelf for your background I just I think it's just so thoughtful this is just a very simplistic gift but it's just it just goes to show the thoughtfulness behind the gift is all that matters and I love the frame and how ornate it is and just how beautiful the print is and I am so excited to put it in the background of my shelf because it is just it's so pretty and it's Harry Potter cuz I mean Harry Potter life right guys right the next book I actually received for big hota media and Disney books and that is Wayfair by Alexander Bron this is the second and last book in the p and duology and before I even talk about the book The Cover these covers of this duology have been like I can't even have words for these like covers are so freaking beautiful now for books it's sad to say I didn't really enjoy passenger the first book in this series that much I liked it but I didn't like it I'm hoping that I'll like this one more it'll be a great duy because I do love duologies I just wish the first one was a little bit better but I am hoping to really enjoy this one this is all about time travel and like Pirates and just basically time travel is all you really know about this book because that's the pretty much big notion about it the next couple of things is Disney books sent to me they sent me this huge BFG care package I actually did it Instagram story as well as Instagram post about it so I will link that down below but they sent me the book of The BFG by Royal doll and surprisingly I have not read this and I am a huge fan of Ral doll I love a lot of his books but I have not read the PMG what is wrong with me so they sent me this book they also sent me this awesome dream journal to catalog my dreams even though I feel like I don't dream a lot now or I can't remember my dreams and they also sent me the movie of The BFG so that would be fun to read the book and watch the movie I love doing that like right away so you can really so you can really gather your thoughts on it because you immediately read the book so you you know exactly what was going on he also sent me a pop figurine of The Big Friendly Giant so that is cool I love how cool he looks he just looks awesome and he also sent me a little like um bookmark which I'm currently using and a little Mason dra that has the BFG on it so thank you so much Focus feature sent me and that is a monster calls by Patrick NES I'm sure you've all heard about this this is a middle- grade novel it's actually being made into a movie and somehow I have yet to read it but I'm excited to read it I'm actually planning to read it next month because it takes time because I know it's out in select theaters right now but it takes time for where I live for movies to got in theaters so I don't think it's coming out to where I live till like mid January so I have time to read it before I get to see the movie so I plan to do that very very soon I don't know too much about this book other than it's a middle Gade book about a boy and a monster and I've heard it's just very heartbreaking very very sad and that's all I want to know about it I just want to go into it with fresh eyes so I'm excited about this I will say this one doesn't have any drawings in it I know that's what this book is known for so I actually went out and picked my up my own copy target has a deal was this was already pretty cheap and then cartwell had it for half off I got this thing for like four bucks that's winning if I ever heard of if you can get a book for $4 brand new that's that's a goal that's a goal in life so I actually got this one for that and yeah this one has like I said all the drawings in it and I know the drawings are just beyond beautiful like look at all these and very haunting so I'm definitely going to read this version of the book because I feel like I'm going to get the whole effect with this book and to see the movie as soon as I finish this book because I've heard the movies amazing people on book have already seen the movie and said it's one of the best booked movie adaptations they've ever seen so I am very very excited to see this and read it obviously two books I got my Al Crate Box the first one I got in my regular outrate box and that is a fires and Stars by Audrey curst this is a book all about a girl that is betroth to a prince and she doesn't fall in love with the prince she actually falls in love with his sister and it's all about that so it's really really awesome really has a lot of diversity if you can already tell with it it's got you know this this girl falling in love with not her not the person she's bet to but a sister so I've heard amazing things about this book so I'm very very excited to get to it I don't know if this is a series or a standalone or a duology so if you know let me know and if you've read it let me know as well because I've heard some things about it but not a lot but the things I've heard about is amazing so I am very very excited to read it because it sounds so intriguing and the next book actually got my Al crate Junior box and that is a boy called Christmas by Matt HG and sadly enough I did not get to this before Christmas but I plan to read it next Christmas this is all about a boy named Nicholas who is nicknamed Christmas and basically it's all about his life and how he becomes to know the boy called Christmas I'm guessing he becomes Santa Claus so it just looks like a really cute middle- grade read that's what Alit Junior ships in all their boxes is middle grade read so I leave that link right there if you want to check out the box if alates they just sound so awesome sadly I can't read this one right right away because Christmas is over now even though I slow myself up because I just can't let it go the next book I bought is tell me Three Things by Julie Buck Buxom I don't know but the cover has waffles on it which is all you really need to know right because it's waffles I have been eyeing this one a target for a while you ever have those books you walk around for a while you're like I'm not sure I'm not sure and then I had a gift card and I was like well I'm sure now this is all about this is a contemporary book and it's about a girl named Jesse and she is starting her junior year at a Prep School in LA and she's really having a hard time with it that she gets an email from a person calling themselves somebody sln nobody SN for sure almost like screen name for all the M users out there who use screen names and had away messages I'm with you I was all about the a um so they help navigate her the they help to navigate her through the new journey of her new prep school and it's all about that and I think she begins to rely on this person and she begins to maybe have feelings for this person she doesn't know who it is I've heard really cute things about this book and honestly I always like having a few contemporary books on my shelves because they're like I said they're kind of my go-to especially when I'm in a slump because I just know that they'll get me out of it and I just enjoy contemporaries I didn't read too many in 2016 but 2017 I want to keep it that way but I want to read a little bit more because I just love contemporaries so much honestly the next book is an arc and Bloon three sent it to me and it's called letters to the loss by Bridget Kemmer and this one sounds so awesome all about a girl named Juliet who always always writes letters to her mother even after her mother's death she leaves letters on the grave on her grave is the only way she can cope and it's about this guy named Dean who he is having a court order community service at the local Cemetery which why would they do that there I don't know but he um sees all these notes and I think he's they he starts writing back to her and they start writing back and forth and it sounds really cool but it also sounds very like creepy like I love the whole like secret pen pal thing but secret pen pal is when you're writing to your dead mother and I feel like the de guy like why do you pick up this letter and read it and then he's like oh I think it's okay for me to read these letters I'm like no that that's not okay you should not be reading those letters those are for her mother so I think it's going to be awesome but I just can't get past that notion of like that's kind of weird but I really am intrigued by it and the cover is beautiful it's got all these paper roses with letters on them with letters actually on them so it's beautiful I want to check this one out because it sounds very interesting it sounds like it's going to be very heartbreaking book which I do enjoy those but they break my heart because they are heartbreaking and last book hartine sent to me it's another Arc and that is spindle Fire by Lexa Hiller this is actually in my most anticipated releases for 2017 this is a new book I don't know if it's a series or a standalone I'm not too sure but this is all about a like dark Rapunzel that's basically it honestly that's all I need to know because I do love me a dark fairy tale retellings any day of the week so that was all the books I received SL bought for the month of December there is a lot to add to my shelves which I'm nervous about because I don't know if I have any more room if you have read or heard of any of these books please let me know down in the comments what
