One of the biggest things I've learned after the motor was out before is to do a boost leak test before the car gets tuned, so we're going to do that because last time my car got tuned with boost leaks, so then when I fix them it started running lean and I have to drive all the way back to Tampa to get a retune. So we're going to do it right the first place this time and we are going to boost leak test the car to make sure there are no leaks and it will be dialed and who better to do that than big boost himself, I think.
It's about 1 a.m. and we are getting ready to finally compression test the engine, there's that like 125 psi all across before what do you guys think it's going to be at mix lane 160 and 170 actually 135 when I'm shooting for like 160 that's that's my goal if it's higher than 160 I'm happy with less than 160. last night so what did you get done while I was gone well one thing that was really bothering me I didn't have a lot of time to really kill the engine after cleaning so I tell you guys put a lot of effort helping me clean yesterday so I thought I'd make it even better by detailing some of the parts like look at your alternator now he polished this all nice it was all like roaded and ugly before yeah when I had also finished this far so there's no pain where it's coming through the hose put new bolts here on the water poem painted a motor mount bracket hoist your head a little bit so I didn't have anything or install their fittings on this side so all I'll even follow the water next coat of ink you know it looks way better than it did before I just want to touch on a couple like really really common questions or concerns that you guys bring up one of them is that I always put the camera in Alberto's face super close and you guys think he doesn't like it I don't think he likes it but the reality is Alberto is a very soft-spoken guy so to get the camera to pick up the audio in a loud shop with lots of fans and air compressors and people talking and music I kind of have to put it close I'll say couple later big boots got to start having a bigger voice another common question is if we were using any parts from that old SR we just use that one valve because the block on my motor was obviously in better condition than that one so we're not going to use it so what's for you handed home in Venice or off the road yes it was the whole thing friends in another ball so definitely came in handy it wasn't a turbo that every flight oh yeah this one is not leaking but if they get damaged with a fire so I'm going to go ahead and replace this hose without any animal house we given all along I don't think I mentioned it in a video yet we also get a different actuator because I had a seven psi one on the turbo but now we have a 12 to 14 psi so according Diliberto I'll be able to turn up the boost more because before I kind of had it maxed out at 18 pounds can you say that like you can double the pressure of the actuator with a boost controller yeah we're going to try to squeeze every ounce of horsepower from this turbo and see how much to come produce there as far we will take it so let's see how much we can get with this terminal and you can know what guys you know how we're going to do that with mmm what do you think about this whole big boost thing it's crazy man he's level Alberta is going to work on the turbo immune metal are going to try to clean intake people use silicone to like seal any imperfections in the surface but copper spray it's like a sealant but it won't be a stick of silicone when you push it down and runs over as a hole or whatever so you don't get like these I always use it to eliminate any possibility of housing vacuum leaks also using all the head gasket people say also the chromatic and it has our leak or something I always call this somebody hangers with copper spray to enhance feeling this was a prove how is it another tricky somebody said they wanted to see the seats in the Civic drag car they are aluminum I'm
