A Week of Motivation and Reading
I've been feeling super motivated today, which is surprising since I was up so late last night and still have a headache from it. But despite my lack of sleep and lingering pain, I'm feeling like awesome, and that's all that matters right now. Today, I decided to focus on getting some reading done, and I'm excited to share my progress with you.
First Things First: Uploading the Video
I've started uploading today's video, which is a reading update from this week. It's been a busy week, but I managed to squeeze in some reading despite feeling stressed and exhausted. I've got all the books I wanted to feature for this haul lined up, and now it's time to create the thumbnail and edit a little more. After that, I'm thinking of taking some Instagram pictures, especially since I recently got the Hazlewood, which is calling my name.
A Book Haul: It's a Thing
As you can see from the video, I've got a lot of books to haul today, and I'm excited to share them with you. A few of these were sent to me, but I still feel like I have a problem when it comes to buying books. There are just so many great stories out there, and I love discovering new authors and series. Okay, maybe my friends would say I have a bigger problem than that...
Filming and Editing: The Never-Ending Cycle
Now that the video is uploaded, it's time to start editing and scheduling it for when I leave for Atlanta tomorrow. As you know, I'm heading to the Dumpling movie set, which is a huge exciting experience for me. While I've never been to Atlanta before, I'm eager to explore the city and learn more about its history and culture.
The Georgia Aquarium: A Weekend Getaway
I've arrived at the Georgia Aquarium, where I'll be spending my weekend filming and editing videos for you guys. As I write this, I'm standing in front of the aquarium's stunning background, which features a beautiful rainbow design. It's a bit disconcerting to have shelves change so suddenly, but hey, at least the colors are pretty!
A Week of Reading: The Wrap-Up
So, how did my reading go this week? Well, let's just say it was a busy and stressful week, which is why I'm only posting an update today instead of one for each book. But don't worry – I've still made some progress! I finished two books, "There's Someone Inside Your House" by Stephanie Perkins, which I gave 3 out of 5 stars, and "Tower of Dawn" by Sarah J Maas, which I loved (4/5 stars). As for the other two books on my list, I'm almost done with them – "The Walled City" by Ryan Graudin and "The Language of Thorns" by Leigh Bardugo.
That's all for now, folks! If you want to know more about my thoughts on these books, be sure to check out my upcoming wrap-up video. And if you're curious about the book haul itself, I'll have that coming up soon too.
For now, it's time for me to get this reading vlog edited and scheduled, as well as prep for my weekend at the Dumpling movie set. It's going to be a busy few days, but I'm excited to share them with you guys when the time comes. Thanks for watching, and I'll catch you in the next video!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: ennow with this really be at one of my breeding blocks if it didn't feature an unboxing the answer to that is no so welcome to another week and another reading vlog I'm going to quickly update you with my reading and then I will get into the unboxing it will be really quick I think I know what the book is it's a pre-order so I'll get to that later but I am listening to the audiobook for tower done by Sarah J mass I decided to go to the audiobook route and I've kind of been I haven't like officially added it to my Goodreads yet because I wasn't sure if I was going to commit to it yet but I'm definitely committing to it right now I have I'm more than halfway through right now which is awesome it's a very long audiobook and I'm glad that I want the audiobook route for this particular story in the series because I feel like it is very slow lots of filler I'm not quite enjoying it as much as other people seem to because a lot of people were super apprehensive about it and then they ended up really loving it and I think it's okay like I'm not loving it so far I'm loving certain things about it but overall I'm kind of like this is really unnecessarily long so I'm making my way through this and hoping to finish it very soon because I have a ton of books that I want to read in October and it's almost October so I want to try and get a head start on my October TBR I haven't actually picked up a physical book yet so don't know what I'm gonna read I'm hoping for something kind of Halloween fall themed since like I said I have a ton of books that I need to read before fall is over so hopefully I will be able to pick up something soon but let's get to the unboxing so like I said pretty sure I know what this is because it's one of my indigo pre-orders and if it is what I think it is it's here quite early is what I think it is that we already chose so I ended up picking up far from the tree by Robin Ben way which has such a beautiful cover this is gorgeous and I was super intrigued by this story so I'm excited to have it and it's coming out on October 3rd but I have my copy quite early which is exciting even though I'm not going to be able to get to it right away I at least have it I may actually end up picking up a contemporary soon because I feel like I need something that's just going to be a one and done like quick thing but I don't really know I have so many books right now that I'm like I really want to read you and I haven't gotten to any of them so cool so today's plans I have to clean my room I have my driver's test today which is exciting and a little bit nerve-wracking but like I feel like it'll be fine if I fail I fail but I think I'll pass but I don't know we'll see how that goes but I don't know I was going to take some Instagram photos up until I have to leave before my driver's test but we'll see I don't really feel like doing anything right now so I might just read or I may listen to my audio book and take Instagram photos we'll see so I started reading there someone inside your house by Stephanie Perkins because I'm home alone right now and I'm a huge chicken so it's like the perfect time to pick this slasher thriller up but I am like six pages in and I am already offended because of course the girl to die is named Haley's so like perfect but this I'm anticipating will be a quick read because Stephanie Perkins other books are all quick reads they are contemporary but like I still feel like this will be a quick one so we shall see how it goes why did I just walk in a circle I don't know but I did happy Tuesday I'm about to go to work soon it is noon and I had a very late start to my day I've only been up for a couple of hours but that is because I was up very late reading there's someone inside your house which wasn't really a good plan since I'm such a big chicken so it freaked me out like it wasn't super scary but it definitely was like gory kind of creepy it was more so the concept of it just made me think of other scary things which then therefore kept me up later after he had already stayed up late finishing it but it was good I felt like it was pretty corny and I'm not really into the horror thing but I thought it was a solid Halloween read so if you're really into horror I don't think you would enjoy this by if you just are kind of looking for a Halloween read that will kind of encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone and try out horror and stuff like that then you might like this but Stephanie Perkins is honestly amazing for writing really quick reads and this is actually a very short book in the first place but it read very quickly who's calling me oh it's mommy so I might do a Biblio battle on this I'm not really sure yet but I'm glad that I read it and it is now a book off with my October TBR before October has even started and I haven't even posted my October TBR yet but I've also started another book that was on my October TBR and that is a shadow brighten burning by Jessica Lewis I didn't really like I'm not very far into it but I feel like this is what I'm going to commit to because I started it and I was getting kind of Jane Eyre vibes which I was really enjoying so we'll see how the rest goes but I'm pretty sure this is going to be the book that I'm going to read I also have been slowly but surely making my way through tower of John which is taking me a very long time I don't even know how much longer I have left in my audio but probably not that much longer I don't think I have 4 hours and 36 minutes left so that's not bad at all I should be able to finish it in the next couple of days which is exciting I still haven't made my bed I really need to get myself together and like clean my room and make my bed because I've been awful for that lately but I just finished editing and uploading today's video and now I'm getting a head start on the two unboxings then I'm going to have up tomorrow so I finished the rough edits for the one now I'm doing the second one and then I also have to start editing Thursday's video and if I do end up going away this weekend my life is going to be crazy for the next a little bit and I am going not going to be reading at all because I'm just going to be like pre filming and pre editing stuff it's going to be nuts and so far that is a go so I don't know we'll see I might be down south in Atlanta this weekend which is very last-minute and unexpected but might happen but like I said I have to go to work soon so I want to try and get these rough edits done so then I won't have a ton to do when I get home from work hello so I'm going to give you an update I have a friend that has decided to visit me right now so apparently she's going to join me I'm just finishing up editing my unboxings and it's really funny because once I tell you guys that like I don't know how many videos I'm going to be posting I'm literally posting three unboxings in one day and I have like a full week of videos and stuff I just feel like when like things happen I just throw myself into stuff to kind of distract myself so that's really what's been happening that's honestly what's been going on I ended up picking up it's downstairs but I ended up taking out on book 4 Oh language of thorns by Leigh bardugo because that came out today and I'm literally so excited for it I can't wait to read it the Grishin universe is one of my favorite fantasy universes that I've ever read and Leigh bardugo is one of my absolute favorite authors so I am just like so so excited for this and today she announced that there's going to be a duology following Nikolaj that is coming out in 2019 which is such a long ways away but like I am already so excited for it so language of thorns wasn't on my TBR yet because it's coming in the September no October very Lu and they had already like said that was happening so I didn't pick it up or preorder it because I knew I was going to be getting it in that but I don't have it yet and I really want to read it so I kind of decided that you know what I'm just gonna read that now and I made myself a little reading plan for like the next books that I want to read because my October TBR is freaking huge like let me show you this I'm just finishing everything these unboxings but I'm going to show you how giant my October TVR is because it's crazy so this is my October TBR - a couple because there was a classic Frankenstein was on there as well as the dreadful tale of prosper reading by Alexandra Bracken that what I'm going to read like on the day of Halloween I think but these are all of the other books that I have to read so I kind of made a game plan Tower of dawn I'm going to be done in the next couple of days because I'm already almost done listening to the audiobook which is good now I'm going to read language of thorns before October starts it's it's still technically September and then once I'm done Knight my next plan is to move back to this one because I was enjoying it but then I was like oh I really want to read language of thorns so going with that now and then after that it's just kind of like a loose plan for what I want to do my next audiobook though will probably be the walled city if not it might be an enchantment of Ravens because I have that audio that through the library so I don't know we'll see how this goes I'm trying to kind of be a little bit better about planning out my reading so then whenever I get arcs I can read them in a timely fashion and get reviews to you if I want to do a review all that stuff so we shall see but it is looking like I'm for sure going to Atlanta this weekend which is like so weird so I really don't know how much reading I'm going to be able to get done I don't really know but we'll see I am extremely stressed out so I have three unboxings they're supposed to go up today and I was uploading them but then I had also wanted to fill them so I've been filming and my room is a mess like it is so bad I can hardly even walk because I did not put books away after I did this like I have literally my fairy loot from unboxing is right there books are ever we're like look at this this is absolute nonsense so I need to try and like find time to clean all this stuff up and I want to fill them again tomorrow and like five million things that I want to do and no time to get it done and I'm just like and I also actually have to edit one of the videos that I found because it's supposed to go up tomorrow so I'm like this is great I'm just a ball of stress so I'm now I'm going to finish uploading those unboxings and edit that stuff I just wanted to update you guys I'm almost done with Tower of dawn other than that I haven't really read a lot but yeah I am having like a midlife shelf crisis I have changed my bookshelves so much in the last little bit and I cannot decide what I want to do right now I have my TBR on the bottom here organized by genre and I have some arcs here that I was going to add in like with the other books because I have finished copies of most of these like 90% of them and I was like I'll just put it next to it to fill up some space I don't know I'm also thinking about moving like my classics into my bookshelves with the other ones because where they are right now I feel like it's just super dangerous and if they fall they're going to send my Mack flying forward and then the screen will crack and I will cry a million tears forever so I think what I'm going to do is try and mix my classics in here and see how that looks I hope I honestly don't know because then like I haven't read all of the classics so technically I should have them TBR and then not so do I put my TBR books and with the other ones I don't know I've been listening to Tower of dawn while I'm doing this so I have been reading technically itself to edit a video - I'm gonna have like I'm not gonna sleep tonight I'm gonna have no time to do anything oh and now that I'm going away this weekend I need to make sure that I'm like on top of stuff and getting it done so I'm gonna have to like it zero sleep tonight and then get up really early oh my god so we're gonna see how this goes and I will keep you updated with how I end up doing my shelves so I finished listening to Tower of dawn which I'm very excited about because it took me forever to listen to since it was such a long audio book and it was good I really liked the way that the relationships ended up happening I was very happy with that but I don't really think it was entire necessary it was kind of cool to see what was happening during Empire storms but I don't know I'm probably going to reread it before the next book in throne of glass comes out because I'm not going to remember anything so I will reread it then and then I will probably do a bit Leo babble I don't know if I'll do one right now I just oh really no I also made a decision with my shelves and ended up putting my classics mixed in so we'll see how long this lasts so it is 1:00 in the morning and by some miracle I was able to finish cleaning my room and I also was able to actually finish editing tomorrow's video I was just planning on doing the rough edits before I went to bed but I actually finished the whole thing but I have a really bad headache and like nothing is getting rid of it and I really should probably go to bed so I'm gonna do that and hopefully I'll be able to actually read something tomorrow other than an audiobook but who knows I also did start another audiobook I started listening to the walled city by ryan graudin which is the book that has been on my TBR for the longest so I'm excited to start that and hopefully finish it I'm liking it so far it's really intense though for why I like it's very graphic so I don't know we'll see how it goes but I have a really bad headache now so I'm going to try and get some sleep and hopefully that will get rid of my headache good morning so I like literally just got up and I am just about to go and get myself a coffee it's about 9:30 so I'm up earlier than I have been recently which is good but I woke up to a package and this is from flat iron books I had requested one book from them but excellent but it feels like there's more than one in here so oh no what else I'm gonna get it I did request more than one but they only confirmed that the one was coming so we'll see so we have one of the ones that I requested and then the rest of them are ones that they just sent over which was very nice so first of all the one that I requested is the diesel wood by Melissa Albert I'm so excited to have this book it has such a beautiful cover and it just seems to be a very dark sort of fantasy thing olá you're doing bad things she keeps on like scratching at the screen on my window it's very bad but I kinda want to read this in October by if you guys watch my October TBR then you know I have a million books that I want to read in October but it seems creepy like the only message that your motherly Hynde is stay away from the Hazelwood dude I'm just super intrigued oh and yeah it deals with dark fairy tales so her grandmother is the reclusive author of a book of pitch dark fairy tales and she ends up dying alone on her estate the Hazelwood and her mother tells her to stay away from the Hazelwood I'm just I'm sorry I feel like this will be it's super cool like dark fairy tales and everything I just I think this is gonna be perfect for around Halloween so I might end up reading this very soon but this is actually coming out in January 2018 so this is I believe the first arc that I have that is coming out in 2018 so now for the other books that they gave me first we have Frankie by Siobhan close-up so this is coming out on November 7th and it is about this girl who is recently suspended from her high school and now she has nothing but free time to search for her half brother Xavier asked after he has disappeared so she ends up turning to her best friend as well as Xavier is frustratingly handsome partner-in-crime and Nate and Nate has a criminal record in a past of his own so he's the last person that Frank you should be teaming up with but that does not stop them so this seems like it could be really cool I'm always down for a coming-of-age story and that's what this seems to be and it's all about a girl who's just like really angry and kind of just rough around the edges which you don't really read a lot of my eye so I think this could be an unlikable protagonist but maybe she will also be likable um no we'll see and the final book that they sent me is I was dead for 13 minutes and I want to know why I also want to know why and this is by Sarah pinburrough and this is coming out in October and let me see if I have a date October 3rd so it's coming up actually very soon so this is once again a perfect Halloween breed because of course this is a young adult thriller and it's where the main character is found unconscious and an icy River and she dies for 13 minutes and then she awakes in a hospital bed with no memory of what happened and the police are trying to figure out how it happened and it just sounds like madness like wow so this seems like it could be really intense and film rights have already been sold very cool oh I got a little bookmark with the hazel mattoon Oh move the out so I'm so excited about all these books thank you so much to platter and books for sending them my way I can't wait to dive into them so now I need to go and get myself coffee because if I don't drink coffee I will have a headache because I'm a caffeine addict so I won't be back what was that you think he can just grab other people's ponytails that's rude so look at this I finished my reading goal I didn't even know that I had but then I looked and I have read 100 books so far this year and like I was like oh that's cool like the years almost done but there's 94 days left in the year still so crazy I don't know how many books I'm going to be able to read in total this year but like I've already been so many so this is like this is crazy but I'm feeling super motivated today I don't know what it is but I'm like yes I want to do all of the things and I'm feeling like awesome which is surprising since I was up so late last night and I do still have a headache from last night which is annoying but I am currently uploading today's video then I just need to do the thumbnail and then I'm probably gonna edit a little bit more I do kind of want to take some Instagram pictures today because I'm kind of in the mood for it especially because I got the Hazlewood and I want to take a picture of that a new happy Friday I am just about to film so I'm preparing to film a book haul first of all and look at it all the books I have to haul like this is ridiculous I don't even know how I'm gonna hold these all fer thumbnail but oh my god and I also have like three weeks in a row I'm going to have a book haul going out so clearly have a book buying problem right now actually in my defense quite a few of these were sent to me but still I need to film this as well as my September wrap-up and I need to get that stuff edited and scheduled because I leave for Atlanta tomorrow I'm going to visit the dumpling movie set so I'm going to be ending this vlog early because I'm going to do kind of a weekend vlog for when I'm on the set kind of just a video diary for my experience there I'm super excited for it super nervous at the same time but I think it's gonna be a lot of fun I'm hoping it will be and I'm really excited I'm just so nervous because I've never done anything like this before so I don't really know what to expect I've also never been to Atlanta so we'll see if I I'm gonna try and get those two videos filmed and if really good and on top of things then I'll be able to get a couple of big Leah babbles films as well but I don't think that's gonna happen so now I'm gonna go and film this because me of procrastinating is not helping the situation also shelves changed again shocker we'll see how long this lasts but like the background is all rainbow so I like it but oh what a struggle I'm so indecisive okay I gotta go phone bayi hi everyone we are here at the Georgia Aquarium and now we're going to check things out hello so it's technically Monday now but I just got back from my trip to Atlanta Georgia to visit the site of the movie dumpling which is based on the book by Julie Murphy it looks like it's going to be amazing but that is a whole other story but I wanted to give you guys an update on how my reading went this week so I was able to completely finish two books it was a very stressful week so I'm not surprised that I have a little bit of a lower reading total than I've had in past weeks where I've been reading like four or five books a week but I'm very much fine with that I also got like 95% of the way through two other books so I'm totally fine with how things went and I'm happy that I really run anything at all because it was just a very stressful and exhausting week so the first book that I finished was there's someone inside your house by Stephanie Perkins which I gave a three out of five stars next I finished Tower of dawn by Sarah J Maas and I give this 4 out of 5 stars and then like I said I got mostly through two other books so one of those is the walled city by ryan graudin which I'm almost done and then also the language of thorns by Leigh bardugo so if you want to know any more thoughts about these books you can wash my wrap-up where I talk about them a little bit more and actually that wrap-up is coming out like a day after this video is going out so you can watch that tomorrow if you wanted to know more details about how I felt about these books spy it for now I need to go and get this reading vlog up because it's already late since I was flying out and everything and I was up until 5 in the morning yesterday but it was really exciting and you guys are gonna have a really exciting video coming to you very soon I can't put it out quite yet but I'm super pumped for you guys to see it and it was a really great weekend and a great experience so I am happy to be home though because I am exhausted so thank you guys for watching this week's reading blog and I will see you guys in the next one byenow with this really be at one of my breeding blocks if it didn't feature an unboxing the answer to that is no so welcome to another week and another reading vlog I'm going to quickly update you with my reading and then I will get into the unboxing it will be really quick I think I know what the book is it's a pre-order so I'll get to that later but I am listening to the audiobook for tower done by Sarah J mass I decided to go to the audiobook route and I've kind of been I haven't like officially added it to my Goodreads yet pick it up or preorder it because I knew I was going to be getting it in that but I don't have it yet and I really want to read it so I kind of decided that you know what I'm just gonna read that now and I made myself a little reading plan for like the next books that I want to read because my October TBR is freaking huge like let me show you this I'm just finishing everything these unboxings but I'm going to show you how giant my October TVR is because it's crazy so this is my October TBR - a couple because there was a classic Frankenstein was on there as well as the dreadful tale of prosper reading by Alexandra Bracken that what I'm going to read like on the day of Halloween I think but these are all of the other books that I have to read so I kind of made a game plan Tower of dawn I'm going to be done in the next couple of days because I'm already almost done listening to the audiobook which is good now I'm going to read language of thorns before October starts it's it's still technically September and then once I'm done Knight my next plan is to move back to this one because I was enjoying it but then I was like oh I really want to read language of thorns so going with that now and then after that it's just kind of like a loose plan for what I want to do my next audiobook though will probably be the walled city if not it might be an enchantment of Ravens because I have that audio that through the library so I don't know we'll see how this goes I'm trying to kind of be a little bit better about planning out my reading so then whenever I get arcs I can read them in a timely fashion and get reviews to you if I want to do a review all that stuff so we shall see but it is looking like I'm for sure going to Atlanta this weekend which is like so weird so I really don't know how much reading I'm going to be able to get done I don't really know but we'll see I am extremely stressed out so I have three unboxings they're supposed to go up today and I was uploading them but then I had also wanted to fill them so I've been filming and my room is a mess like it is so bad I can hardly even walk because I did not put books away after I did this like I have literally my fairy loot from unboxing is right there books are ever we're like look at this this is absolute nonsense so I need to try and like find time to clean all this stuff up and I want to fill them again tomorrow and like five million things that I want to do and no time to get it done and I'm just like and I also actually have to edit one of the videos that I found because it's supposed to go up tomorrow so I'm like this is great I'm just a ball of stress so I'm now I'm going to finish uploading those unboxings and edit that stuff I just wanted to update you guys I'm almost done with Tower of dawn other than that I haven't really read a lot but yeah I am having like a midlife shelf crisis I have changed my bookshelves so much in the last little bit and I cannot decide what I want to do right now I have my TBR on the bottom here organized by genre and I have some arcs here that I was going to add in like with the other books because I have finished copies of most of these like 90% of them and I was like I'll just put it next to it to fill up some space I don't know I'm also thinking about moving like my classics into my bookshelves with the other ones because where they are right now I feel like it's just super dangerous and if they fall they're going to send my Mack flying forward and then the screen will crack and I will cry a million tears forever so I think what I'm going to do is try and mix my classics in here and see how that looks I hope I honestly don't know because then like I haven't read all of the classics so technically I should have them TBR and then not so do I put my TBR books and with the other ones I don't know I've been listening to Tower of dawn while I'm doing this so I have been reading technically itself to edit a video - I'm gonna have like I'm not gonna sleep tonight I'm gonna have no time to do anything oh and now that I'm going away this weekend I need to make sure that I'm like on top of stuff and getting it done so I'm gonna have to like it zero sleep tonight and then get up really early oh my god so we're gonna see how this goes and I will keep you updated with how I end up doing my shelves so I finished listening to Tower of dawn which I'm very excited about because it took me forever to listen to since it was such a long audio book and it was good I really liked the way that the relationships ended up happening I was very happy with that but I don't really think it was entire necessary it was kind of cool to see what was happening during Empire storms but I don't know I'm probably going to reread it before the next book in throne of glass comes out because I'm not going to remember anything so I will reread it then and then I will probably do a bit Leo babble I don't know if I'll do one right now I just oh really no I also made a decision with my shelves and ended up putting my classics mixed in so we'll see how long this lasts so it is 1:00 in the morning and by some miracle I was able to finish cleaning my room and I also was able to actually finish editing tomorrow's video I was just planning on doing the rough edits before I went to bed but I actually finished the whole thing but I have a really bad headache and like nothing is getting rid of it and I really should probably go to bed so I'm gonna do that and hopefully I'll be able to actually read something tomorrow other than an audiobook but who knows I also did start another audiobook I started listening to the walled city by ryan graudin which is the book that has been on my TBR for the longest so I'm excited to start that and hopefully finish it I'm liking it so far it's really intense though for why I like it's very graphic so I don't know we'll see how it goes but I have a really bad headache now so I'm going to try and get some sleep and hopefully that will get rid of my headache good morning so I like literally just got up and I am just about to go and get myself a coffee it's about 9:30 so I'm up earlier than I have been recently which is good but I woke up to a package and this is from flat iron books I had requested one book from them but excellent but it feels like there's more than one in here so oh no what else I'm gonna get it I did request more than one but they only confirmed that the one was coming so we'll see so we have one of the ones that I requested and then the rest of them are ones that they just sent over which was very nice so first of all the one that I requested is the diesel wood by Melissa Albert I'm so excited to have this book it has such a beautiful cover and it just seems to be a very dark sort of fantasy thing olá you're doing bad things she keeps on like scratching at the screen on my window it's very bad but I kinda want to read this in October by if you guys watch my October TBR then you know I have a million books that I want to read in October but it seems creepy like the only message that your motherly Hynde is stay away from the Hazelwood dude I'm just super intrigued oh and yeah it deals with dark fairy tales so her grandmother is the reclusive author of a book of pitch dark fairy tales and she ends up dying alone on her estate the Hazelwood and her mother tells her to stay away from the Hazelwood I'm just I'm sorry I feel like this will be it's super cool like dark fairy tales and everything I just I think this is gonna be perfect for around Halloween so I might end up reading this very soon but this is actually coming out in January 2018 so this is I believe the first arc that I have that is coming out in 2018 so now for the other books that they gave me first we have Frankie by Siobhan close-up so this is coming out on November 7th and it is about this girl who is recently suspended from her high school and now she has nothing but free time to search for her half brother Xavier asked after he has disappeared so she ends up turning to her best friend as well as Xavier is frustratingly handsome partner-in-crime and Nate and Nate has a criminal record in a past of his own so he's the last person that Frank you should be teaming up with but that does not stop them so this seems like it could be really cool I'm always down for a coming-of-age story and that's what this seems to be and it's all about a girl who's just like really angry and kind of just rough around the edges which you don't really read a lot of my eye so I think this could be an unlikable protagonist but maybe she will also be likable um no we'll see and the final book that they sent me is I was dead for 13 minutes and I want to know why I also want to know why and this is by Sarah pinburrough and this is coming out in October and let me see if I have a date October 3rd so it's coming up actually very soon so this is once again a perfect Halloween breed because of course this is a young adult thriller and it's where the main character is found unconscious and an icy River and she dies for 13 minutes and then she awakes in a hospital bed with no memory of what happened and the police are trying to figure out how it happened and it just sounds like madness like wow so this seems like it could be really intense and film rights have already been sold very cool oh I got a little bookmark with the hazel mattoon Oh move the out so I'm so excited about all these books thank you so much to platter and books for sending them my way I can't wait to dive into them so now I need to go and get myself coffee because if I don't drink coffee I will have a headache because I'm a caffeine addict so I won't be back what was that you think he can just grab other people's ponytails that's rude so look at this I finished my reading goal I didn't even know that I had but then I looked and I have read 100 books so far this year and like I was like oh that's cool like the years almost done but there's 94 days left in the year still so crazy I don't know how many books I'm going to be able to read in total this year but like I've already been so many so this is like this is crazy but I'm feeling super motivated today I don't know what it is but I'm like yes I want to do all of the things and I'm feeling like awesome which is surprising since I was up so late last night and I do still have a headache from last night which is annoying but I am currently uploading today's video then I just need to do the thumbnail and then I'm probably gonna edit a little bit more I do kind of want to take some Instagram pictures today because I'm kind of in the mood for it especially because I got the Hazlewood and I want to take a picture of that a new happy Friday I am just about to film so I'm preparing to film a book haul first of all and look at it all the books I have to haul like this is ridiculous I don't even know how I'm gonna hold these all fer thumbnail but oh my god and I also have like three weeks in a row I'm going to have a book haul going out so clearly have a book buying problem right now actually in my defense quite a few of these were sent to me but still I need to film this as well as my September wrap-up and I need to get that stuff edited and scheduled because I leave for Atlanta tomorrow I'm going to visit the dumpling movie set so I'm going to be ending this vlog early because I'm going to do kind of a weekend vlog for when I'm on the set kind of just a video diary for my experience there I'm super excited for it super nervous at the same time but I think it's gonna be a lot of fun I'm hoping it will be and I'm really excited I'm just so nervous because I've never done anything like this before so I don't really know what to expect I've also never been to Atlanta so we'll see if I I'm gonna try and get those two videos filmed and if really good and on top of things then I'll be able to get a couple of big Leah babbles films as well but I don't think that's gonna happen so now I'm gonna go and film this because me of procrastinating is not helping the situation also shelves changed again shocker we'll see how long this lasts but like the background is all rainbow so I like it but oh what a struggle I'm so indecisive okay I gotta go phone bayi hi everyone we are here at the Georgia Aquarium and now we're going to check things out hello so it's technically Monday now but I just got back from my trip to Atlanta Georgia to visit the site of the movie dumpling which is based on the book by Julie Murphy it looks like it's going to be amazing but that is a whole other story but I wanted to give you guys an update on how my reading went this week so I was able to completely finish two books it was a very stressful week so I'm not surprised that I have a little bit of a lower reading total than I've had in past weeks where I've been reading like four or five books a week but I'm very much fine with that I also got like 95% of the way through two other books so I'm totally fine with how things went and I'm happy that I really run anything at all because it was just a very stressful and exhausting week so the first book that I finished was there's someone inside your house by Stephanie Perkins which I gave a three out of five stars next I finished Tower of dawn by Sarah J Maas and I give this 4 out of 5 stars and then like I said I got mostly through two other books so one of those is the walled city by ryan graudin which I'm almost done and then also the language of thorns by Leigh bardugo so if you want to know any more thoughts about these books you can wash my wrap-up where I talk about them a little bit more and actually that wrap-up is coming out like a day after this video is going out so you can watch that tomorrow if you wanted to know more details about how I felt about these books spy it for now I need to go and get this reading vlog up because it's already late since I was flying out and everything and I was up until 5 in the morning yesterday but it was really exciting and you guys are gonna have a really exciting video coming to you very soon I can't put it out quite yet but I'm super pumped for you guys to see it and it was a really great weekend and a great experience so I am happy to be home though because I am exhausted so thank you guys for watching this week's reading blog and I will see you guys in the next one bye\n"
