"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi everybody I'm in Liverpool this morning and I've come have looked at the showroom see what's been changed what's new uh and the vehicle behind me is some new addition into the into the uh into the showroom here I thought looking at it that it was a caddy Maxi life because that's what it looks like in the pure gray nice and looking for them but actual fact it's a caddy California uh We've looked at these before so I thought we'd have a quick guidy tour around it um just to see what it's like cuz the nice thing about the caddy California is when you quickly look at it you might not necessarily even think it is a caddy California because it looks just the same as uh the cad Maxi life that's in there so I thought i' have a quick look at some of the changes and I said it's in the pure gray so I really do love this color um I think with certain combinations with this black combination and the two looks really really nice uh if you have a look at the wheels that's on here as well is they've gone for these are obviously upgraded for the wheel combination but again it's matching that with the polished uh black and the polished silver uh with your black on the side as well just really does give a great impression I think of what the actual vehicle looks like and I said on the first out looking at it I just thought it was a little sports van to be perfectly honest that's what I thought as soon as I walked into the showroom it was only until I came around the back and I saw all the camping stuff in the back of the vehicle so uh that's in here so uh I thought today cuz we last time we looked at one we didn't put the bed down so I thought I'd pop the bed down in this one today just to show what it's like uh inside of the van but if we keep moving around for a little bit so you'll notice from the side of the van that we've got clear windows down the Sid so there's no opening window in here which you would normally get U but we have obviously got the darker tint then uh that goes around from the side of the vehicle that's on here and I actually think it actually looks quite nice this way without having that window in there somebody asked us a while ago about the window whether you can get the popping Vents and you can buy those additionally uh to go in there with the window but how often do you open the window in the rear of a car now nowadays I don't very often to be perfectly honest and a lot of the vehicles we're doing now don't tend to have window in there anymore we have a look at the bus opposite us exactly the same thing no window in in here uh however it's interesting to say that the new Buzz that's coming out uh when they do the upgrades in this window is actually going to be electric uh and move up and down so might be slightly different thing than coming in and out that's on there but I think this really does make a big difference to the vehicle how it looks from the side of it as it goes through and then you've got your dark tinted uh rare cluster that's on here as well uh that just again it just adds to all the vehicle having a look at it uh we pull the tailgate down that's on the back of here obviously we've got the glass window on the back we've got a reversing camera that's on here as well with our wash wipe uh that's here any of you out there looking you might think you know having that in Black might be the uh the thing to go with possibly I might have seen a few of those in the past as well that's in there so obviously our camping stuff we've been through this before with the caddy California uh but today I am going to put the bed down and just show you again what it looks like with that extra space that's in there as well we got our two seats in the front here we've got our split 60/40 split in the rear that's in here and obviously these fold down then to create that space so that you can actually then put the uh put the seats down so there's a couple of things that we need to do uh to enable us to uh to do that one of them obvious is to move these seats as far forward as possible and to um uh put the back rest up that's in there and then with these obviously we need to fold them down uh in half so they're on here because this is where the bed is going to attach to it's worth mentioning as well obviously we've said this before in this vehicle this is why it's so versatile these seats do come out as well you can pull them forward uh if you want to but obviously for the bed section to work it just comes down on here so let me just move the two front seats quickly there's a little catch on here that's basically just making sure it all stays in place so we just take that catch off that's on there and then this bed section obviously is going to fold out uh from on here and then within that bed section in here is we've got our two supports which are these on either side that's here and those supports are going to locate into this section that's in here as well and then that's just going to give it the uh stability of which it needs but obviously to pull those out You' got to pull it Forward first so let's give it a pull forward so I tend to pull it forward to about here and then I can pull those out and if Tim just gives us a hand and pulls that one out that's there there we go you got your post out here obviously then we're just going to pop that in into position that's in there and then as per the instructions give it a push down in the middle then that pots it into place and it's all nice and secure right against the uh the seats is there but the important thing is is these seats have got to be as far forward as possible and the back rest done all the way up to the top because they're not swivel on the caddy California and then you got your bed in the past we've looked at these before but in here we have got our trusted table that's in there and our two camping chairs that we're all aware of we know where they are work we seen them plenty of times it's in there and then our our box here which has got our cooker in so that comes out that's on here so we've got our cooker it's on here one burner hob um this is more of a prep area here it's not supposed to be a sink or anything like that obviously doesn't drain away but if a pan boils over for example on here obviously the water then would fall uh into the section that's on here as well so you can kind of use it as a uh as a bit of a prep area uh to move it on from on there as well uh that goes back in there are two little Clips on the side um just to push down you see from in there one on either side and that just lets you click it in all the way and then the bottom one in here we've got our Cutlery drawer and then space underneath via pots and pans and things like that uh that's in it as well uh if it was me and that have one of these I'd probably have my cool box here and have it plugged in um uh that's on here and there is a plug socket on the other side here so you could run a uh a power socket round onto here and then obviously we've got our light switch for our lights that's in the uh in the tail get this here as well I think this will be suited very much to obviously if your couple being away having the bed section here or or you have one with an awning on that comes out and and comes out from the side of it uh I think that would be quite popular as well probably with families where you could have your kids could be in the awning you could be sleeping in here but at the same time you've got all your you know you got a burner hob for example because nine times out of 10 one burner hob is probably all that you really need and you're out already outside or outside of the the vehicle um when I go away as I've said many times I always take a a small burner uh with me anyway small gas thing i' like fried breakfast and I don't like doing it inside the vehicle so Gally only boiling things like water and doing pastor and stuff like that actually in the vehicle anyway so you only need one hub for that and then maybe one outside or something like so I think that's more than adequate for this size of vehicle and you had a nice fridge compressed fridge or something that's in here as well uh that would certainly uh certainly had everything you would possibly need for it so I hope you enjoyed today's video we're having a look at the caddy California the new one in our showroom here in Liverpool as I said it's strikingly because I just thought how nice it looks in this pure gray with the black contrasting between the windows as I said we're having the the blank panels in there so it's got the darker windows in there uh the upgraded Alloys it's in here as well um I was thinking this might look nice as well I think it looks better because it's a bit higher on the caddy California or it seems to be compared to the caddy Maxi life it's in there and obviously got your roof rails on top as well and they obviously add to that feel as well what would it look like do you think with some big chunky tires on a bit of a an off-road section uh that's on there cuz you can get full motion in the uh in these as well but not in the caddy California they don't do that but that will be interesting to see on this type of vehicle I think as well I think that might be quite popular but let me know uh but there certainly when they're when they're more pumped up uh certainly gives them a different feel uh to the vehicle as well I hope You' enjoyed today's video uh if
