INSANE $750 GAMING PC BUILD 2016! [INTEL i5 SKYLAKE!]

Welcome to Another Geek W Video: Building the Best $750 Gaming PC for April and May 2016

As always, we're excited to share with you another epic build that's sure to please even the most discerning gamers. In this video, we'll be taking a closer look at the best $750 gaming PC build for the months of April and May 2016. So, without further ado, let's get straight into the build and see what makes this system tick.

CPU: The Intel Core i5-6500

The CPU is the heart of any computer, and in this build, we've chosen the Intel Core i5-6500. This processor boasts a clock speed of 3.2 GHz, which means it can handle even the most demanding tasks with ease. Additionally, its quad-core design makes it compatible with all the latest AAA titles, including Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield Hardline, GTA 5, and The Witcher 3. But what really sets this processor apart is its power efficiency – it's incredibly low on power consumption, making it a great choice for those who want to save money on electricity bills.

Motherboard: The MSI B150M Mortar

A good motherboard is essential for any build, and in this case, we've chosen the MSI B150M Mortar. This Micro ATX board offers all the necessary features for our system, including USB 3.0 ports, SATA ports, and even a PCIe slot for future upgrades. One of the reasons we chose this motherboard is that it's not too expensive – at around $50, it's an affordable option that won't break the bank. Plus, it has all the necessary features to support our CPU and other components.

RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3L Kingston HyperX Fury

When it comes to RAM, we always recommend using high-quality, low-latency memory. In this build, we've chosen the Kingston HyperX Fury, which offers 8 GB of DDR3L memory in a single stick. This means we have plenty of room for expansion and can add more memory later if needed. We opted for 4 GB x2 because it's a great balance between price and performance. With this RAM, our system should be able to handle demanding applications without any issues.

SSD: Ocz Trion 100 120GB

Solid-State Drives (SSDs) are essential for storing your operating system, programs, and data. In this build, we've chosen the Ocz Trion 100, which offers impressive performance and capacity. This 120 GB SSD should provide ample storage for our system, and its low latency means it can load applications quickly. We also love that it's relatively affordable – at around $50, it's a great value for the price.

Hard Drive: Sega Barracuda 1TB

While an SSD is ideal for storing your operating system and programs, there are still plenty of files and data that need to be stored on a traditional hard drive. In this build, we've chosen the Sega Barracuda 1TB, which offers massive storage capacity and impressive performance. With its 7200 RPM motor, it's one of the fastest consumer-grade hard drives available – and at around $50, it's an affordable option that won't break the bank.

Graphics Card: ASUS Radeon R9 380

When it comes to graphics cards, we always recommend choosing something that offers good performance for its price. In this build, we've chosen the ASUS Radeon R9 380, which offers impressive performance and features like VR compatibility. This mid-range GPU should provide smooth performance in games at high resolutions – and with its compact design, it won't take up too much space in your case.

Case: NZXT TS 340

The case is an essential component of any build, and in this case, we've chosen the NZXT TS 340. This sleek, stylish case offers plenty of room for our components and features like USB 3.0 ports, SATA ports, and a PCIe slot for future upgrades. Plus, it has a nice matte black finish that looks great on our desk – and at around $50, it's an affordable option that won't break the bank.

Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 650W

Finally, we need to power all of these components together, which is where the power supply comes in. In this build, we've chosen the EVGA Supernova 650W, which offers plenty of power and features like a hybrid fan mode that ensures optimal airflow during low loads. With its 80 PLUS Gold certification, it's one of the most efficient power supplies available – and at around $60, it's an affordable option that won't break the bank.

In conclusion, this build is sure to please even the most discerning gamers. With its Intel Core i5-6500 CPU, MSI B150M Mortar motherboard, 2x 4GB DDR3L RAM, Ocz Trion 100 120GB SSD, Sega Barracuda 1TB hard drive, ASUS Radeon R9 380 graphics card, NZXT TS 340 case, and EVGA Supernova 650W power supply, this system is ready to tackle any game or task that comes its way. So, what are you waiting for? Get building!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwelcome back to another geek W video and today I'm taking you over the best $750 gaming PC build for the months of April and May 2016 so make sure to drop a like rating And subscribe but as always let's get straight into the build regardless of the build I always get asked James how will it perform this build will smash 1080p at ultra settings and also at game at 1440p very respectively whilst achieving 60 frames per second with anti-aliasing on and textures turned down so let's get straight into the build and let's start off with the CPU the CPU I went for is the Intel Core i 56500 it's a 3.2 GHz chip meaning it can do 3.2 billion things per second the fact that it's a quad cord chip means it's compatible with all of the latest AAA titles including Star Wars Battlefront Battlefield Hardline GTA 5 and The Witcher 3 it's also very very power efficient and means the TDP of this build is quite low but I'll get onto that in just a moment's time the mother board I went for is the MSI b150m mortar it's a Micro ATX LGA 1151 motherboard giving you all the functionality and features you need there's no point in going for the higher end z170 chipet due to the fact that the CPU isn't overclockable anyway the ram I went for was 2 4 GB dims if Kingston hyperx Fury I went for it in Black however you can also get it in red blue or white ddr4 2133 MHz speed really is all you need no need for anything faster not for gaming anyway the ocz Tron 100 120 GB 2 and 1/2 in SSD provides great Speed and Performance and also allows uh for plenty of room for a couple of your most prized documents a game and your copy of Windows ssds really are the way forward when it comes to boot times on your PC and once you've got one you'll never turn back ocds try online are also super super fast and also provide Great Value but of course 120 GB is nowhere near enough for all your movies your music and your games which is where the Sega Barracuda at 1 TB hard drive comes in 7200 RPM is as fast as consumer hard drives get and a 3 and 1 half in form factor is is the normal size for hard drives it provides Great Value and I've had three of these Barracuda drives all of them being used Around the Clock as well and never had one of them fail the graphics card I went for was one I was very impressed with it's the isus Radeon R9 380x has a 4 GB frame buff up making it ideal for 1440p r resolutions and the 380x is around the mid-range of of AMD cards it's also VR compatible so whoop whoop for virtual reality this card and this whole build it for that fact are fully VR compatible which is a great bonus to this card the strict call out is also really cool and provides a load of quirks including the fact that the fans actually turn off under a very low uh load uh meaning this is super super quiet isus do a great job and have got some great software utilities as well the case I went for was easily one of my favorite cases from 2015 it's the nzx TS 340 provides a really nice glossy black and matte black finish as well and is based on nxt's highly popular h440 case it provides some of the high-end features such as USB 3 and that power supply shroud and also gives mounting for both 2 and 1/2 in and 3 and 1/2 in drives keeping this system all powered up is the job of the evj Supernova NX it's one of their highest end power supplies and the 80 plus gold certification means this power supply is super efficient it's also got a hybrid fan mode meaning under an insignificant very low load it will also the fan will also not turn on which is great given the fact that this power supply can output 650 Watt and this build only consumes at full load 350 Watts so that's a win-win situation for silent performance with both that CPU the graphics card and of course the power supply but that wraps it all for this build make sure to drop a like rating And subscribe follow my Twitter at geek use the two links in the description below to get great
