iPhone 6 & 6 Plus Best camera and Photos App Features

**Using the Photos App: A Comprehensive Guide**

Selecting an Image and Deleting it

---------------------------------

If you select an image and then delete it, it will still remain on your device. However, if you go to the album section and tap onto your albums, you can see a "Recently Deleted" photos section. This is where all your recently deleted photos are stored, and they will stay there for 30 days. From this section, you can return the image back if you accidentally deleted it.

**Returning or Permanently Deleting Images**

------------------------------------------

When accessing your recently deleted photos, you can see that they will be in a "Recently Deleted" folder. This folder is where all your recently deleted photos are stored for 30 days. If you delete an image from this section, it will permanently be deleted and cannot be recovered.

**Hiding Photos**

----------------

You can also hide certain images by tapping and holding on one of the pictures in your camera roll or album sections. This option allows you to hide photos in the camera's General cameras folder. When you tap and hold on an image, you will see a "Hide Photo" option. Tapping this option will hide the photo from view, but it will still be stored on your device.

**Unhiding Hidden Photos**

-------------------------

If you need to access a hidden photo, you can go back to the General cameras folder and tap and hold on the image again. This time, you will see an "Unhide Photo" option. Tapping this option will bring the photo back into view.

**Searching for Photos**

----------------------

You also have the search option in the photos app. When accessing your camera roll or album sections, you can tap and search through different criteria such as date or event. This feature allows you to find specific photos more easily.

**Favoriting Photos**

--------------------

Under each picture, you will see a heart icon at the bottom. If you tap on this heart, it will automatically add the photo to your favorite folder. You can access your favorite folders by going to your albums section and tapping on "Favorites".

**Sharing Options**

------------------

The sharing options in the photos app are also worth mentioning. When accessing an image, you can see a "Share" option at the bottom of the screen. Tapping this option will bring up a list of sharing options, including sending the photo through various messaging apps, emails, and social media platforms.

**New Features in iOS 8**

-------------------------

Some of the new features available in the photos app for iOS 8 include the ability to share albums with other users through iCloud or iCloud Drive. You can also switch between regular normal photos and HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos. Additionally, you can now shoot video at 60 frames per second on devices such as the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus.

**Safely Selling Your iPhone**

-----------------------------

If your iPhone is no longer usable, you may want to sell it for cash. Cell Cashier is a reputable company that offers the most cash for your iPhones. They purchase iPhones from all major US carriers and do not accept devices with iCloud locks or water damage. They compare prices with other competing websites to offer you the best deal.

**Additional Tips**

-------------------

Some additional tips to keep in mind when using the photos app include:

* Regularly backing up your photos to iCloud or iTunes

* Using tags and keywords to organize your photos

* Sharing photos with friends and family through social media platforms

* Experimenting with different editing apps to enhance your photos

By following these tips and using the features outlined in this article, you can get the most out of the photos app on your iPhone or iPad.
