The Most Crisp and Tight Tuck: A Little Trick for Putting on Your Pillowcases Faster
Have you ever found yourself struggling to put on your pillowcases? It's like trying to stuff a sausage, isn't it? Well, I've got a little trick that can make putting on your pillowcases a breeze. The key is to turn your pillowcase inside out and then stick your arms inside of it into the top two corners. Get your pinchers ready and grab the top two corners of your pillow, and then just roll it over the top of the pillow. It's so much faster and more effortless than trying to stuff the case on by hand. I no longer dread putting my pillowcases on, and you shouldn't either.
This trick has been a game-changer for me, especially when it comes to keeping my pillows looking their best. My ride or die budget-friendly pillows are the fluffiest and softest, and they've kept their shape so well that I just can't imagine using anything else. And the best part is that they're also very affordable.
Now, let's talk about tricks for getting your comforter inside of your duvet cover. The best hack for this task is what I like to call the "birthing a whale" technique. You've got to grab onto it and dive into the belly of the beast, fighting your way in until you emerge victorious on the other side. It might get a little ugly in there, but trust me, it's worth it. Ditching my old duvet and switching to a comforter has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.
One of the biggest perks of using a comforter is that it can be washed in a machine, which means I don't have to deal with the hassle of getting it in and out of the cover. It's also much easier on my back, since I don't have to pull and tug to get the duvet into place.
Now, let's talk about how to make your bed in just one, two, or three minutes. The most basic method is simply to put your full comforter on the bed, with your pillows stacked up against it. This takes under a minute to do, making it a great option for those of us who are short on time.
The next level of difficulty is adding another blanket or comforter on the foot of the bed. Fold it in half or into thirds and drape it over the bed, either diagonally or straight across. I like the diagonal look best, but you can choose whatever style suits your taste.
Finally, there's the three-minute method, which adds the final touches to a made-up bed. Add three larger throw pillows and one smaller one in front of the bed, and then drape a throw blanket over the top of it all. I like to use a spatula to make perfect angles with my pillow arrangements – it's amazing how much of a difference it can make.
And for those looking for an extra decorative touch, why not fold up your throw blanket into a lumbar pillow? Simply lay it out on the bed and start rolling it up from one end. When you get towards the end, fold the bottom down to create a pocket, and then tuck the rolled-up part inside. This creates a cute little lumbar pillow that can add a touch of elegance to any bedroom.

getting your fitted sheet to stay securely on the bed and the corners keep popping off they actually make something called sheet suspenders and it's exactly what it sounds like they're these little metal clips that you adhere to either side of the sheet so that way when you get the corners on the bed they're really snug on there and they will not go anywhere next up is the top sheet and i'm that imaginary line and then pinch the fabric and pull it up on the top of the bed and then tuck what's left if you're not into the tucking life maybe you have long nails and you find it annoying you can use a spatula yes guys is it a little extra perhaps does it work it does and then take your remaining portion kind of fold it over so it's in that nice 45 degree crisp line and then tuck this underneath then get your spatula again if you feel like it it does make it quite a bit easier and it also gives the most crisp tight tuck next is a little trick for putting on your pillowcases faster
