The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ have been officially announced by Samsung, and they are packed with some exciting features.
One of the standout features of the new Note series is their fast charging capabilities. The Note 10 comes with a 25-watt charger, which can charge the device from zero to 50% in just 30 minutes, making it one of the fastest charging speeds available on any smartphone currently on the market. However, if you opt for the 45-watt charger that will be sold separately on the Note 10+, you can get from zero to 70% in just 30 minutes, which is incredibly fast.
The Note series also features wireless charging, but with a significant upgrade over previous models. The Note 9 had a 7.5-watt wireless charging speed, but the new Note 10 and 10+ come with 12-watt fast wireless charging, making it one of the fastest wireless charging speeds available on any smartphone.
Another notable feature of the Note series is their Wireless PowerShare, which allows you to use your device to charge other devices wirelessly. This is a convenient feature that can be especially useful for those who need to keep their devices charged on the go.
One of the things that sets the Note series apart from other devices is the inclusion of an S Pen, which is a stylus that comes with a range of features and functions. The S Pen allows you to take notes on the Always On Display, as well as use air actions to interact with your device. For example, holding down the power button and drawing a circle will zoom in on the screen, while going clockwise will change modes.
The S Pen also comes with improved handwriting-to-text conversion algorithms, which allow you to export handwritten notes into actual Word documents and search through them. Additionally, there is now a built-in screen recording feature that allows you to record your screen and take photos of the front-facing camera at the same time.
In addition to these features, the Note 10 and 10+ also come with Link to Windows, which allows you to connect your device to your computer wirelessly. This means you can receive text messages on your phone and access recent photos, all without having to physically connect to your computer.
However, there is one notable change that might be disappointing for some users: the removal of a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Note series has traditionally had a 3.5mm headphone jack, but Samsung has finally decided to drop it in favor of USB-C. If you're someone who relies on their phone's headphone jack, this will likely be a disappointment.
To make up for the lack of a dedicated Bixby button, Samsung has moved the power button to the side, where you can still access Bixby by pressing and holding the power button. However, there is no separate Bixby button available on either device.
Finally, let's talk about pricing and availability. The Note 10 will start at $950, while the Note 10+ will start at $1,100. There will also be a 5G version of the Note 10+, but the pricing for this is not yet known.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are exciting devices that offer a range of features and functions that set them apart from other smartphones on the market. Whether you're looking for fast charging capabilities, wireless charging, or the convenience of an S Pen, these devices have something to offer.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- What's up, guys?Saf here on SuperSaf TV.The Samsung Galaxy Note10 andNote10+ are finally official. We've had so many leaksbut I've finally hadsome hands-on time with both of them.In this video, we'll be going througheverything you need to knowabout both of these devicesand we'll also be comparing them.So for the first time this year,we do have two Samsung Galaxy Notes. There is the Note10 andthere is the Note10+.Now, as the name suggests, the plus version is the larger versionand it also has a larger display,a 6.8-inch display versusthe 6.3 inch-displayon the Note10.Both displays havedynamic AMOLED technologyand are HDR10+ certified. However, there are some key differences. The Note10 has a full HD+ resolution. The Note10+ has a quad HD+ resolutionso you are gonna be getting better detailand better sharpness on the Note10+.Unfortunately, we don'thave any high refresh rateslike we've seen on lotsof the other competition. That's something that I knowa lot of guys were hopeful forbut we've not got it this time.So overall, although theNote10 is more compactand definitely more comfortableto hold in one hand, you do get a largerand overall better display on the Note10+.Now, this year, Samsung havegone for the Infinity-O design,so that's the punch out. This time, it is in the middle, not on the right-hand sidelike we had on the SamsungGalaxy S10 and S10+.The screen-to-body ratio is very high. It's not completely bezel-lesswith a popup camera or anything like thatbut you still do have a veryhigh screen-to-body ratioon both devices. Now for the builds, both have Samsung's traditionalglass and metal sandwichso we've got a metal framewith curved glass panelson the front and backand we still have IP68water and dust resistanceso both of them do feel really, really premium in the hand. Now, when it comes tocameras, for the hardware, they are quite similar tothe Samsung Galaxy S10s.So we've got a primary 12 megapixel camerawith a variable aperture, F1.5 and F2.4.Then we've got asecondary telephoto camerawhich is gonna give youtwo times optical zoom. This has, this time, an F2.1 apertureso that should let in more lightcompared to the F2.4that we had on the S10s.And then we've got a16-megapixel ultra wide camerawith an F2.2 aperture. This is something that Ireally like on the S10.It's one of my favoritesand we now have this on the Note10s.But the Note10+ has anadditional fourth camera. This is what Samsung beencalling a depth vision camera. It has an F1.4 aperture. It's gonna help with depth informationfor your live focus shots. Now, speaking of live focus, both devices can shoot live focus video. So that's the portrait mode in video.Really interested to check those outand I wanna see how they perform.Of course, we're gonna be doinglots of SuperSaf style camera comparisons.Definitely let me knowin the comments belowwhich device you'd like me tocompare the Note10+ to first. Now, for the front-facing camera,we have a 10 megapixel front-facing camerawith an F2.2 aperture. This also has a live focus mode. Now, it doesn't have thesecondary camera that the S10+ hadso it will be interesting to seehow well it does live focus. Now, for the internals, both devices are poweredby either the QualcommSnapdragon 855 chip setor Samsung's Exynos 9825.So it is nice that we've got the 9825but unfortunately wedon't have the 855 pluswhich we were hoping for.For RAM, the Note10 comeswith eight gigabytes of RAMand the Note10+ comes with abase of 12 gigabytes of RAM.And we've got 256gigabytes storage optionson both of these as a basewith the S10+ going up to 512 gigabytes. Now, we do have UFS 3.0 storageso this is gonna give you muchfaster read-and-write speedson your storage which isreally, really good to see. This is something that we'veseen on the OnePlus 7 Proas well as the Samsung Galaxy Foldbut we didn't have on the S10so this should really improvespeed and performance. The one thing that Iknow a lot of you guysare gonna be disappointed aboutis that the regular Note10does not have a micro SD card slot. This is something thatSamsung has traditionally hadon all of their Note devicesbut we've not got it on the Note10.We do have it on the Note10+.However, I'm not sure howmuch people are gonna use thatbecause you already do get abase of 256 going up to 512.So personally for me, it's not gonna betoo much of a big dealbut it might be for you. Now, moving on to the batteries, the Note10 comes with a 3500mAh battery. The Note10+ comes with a 4300mAh battery. So we've got pretty largebatteries on both of theseand they both come with fast charging. We've got 25-wattfast-charging on the Note10.On the Note10+, you can getup to 45 watt fast-charging.So with 25 watt fast-charging,this is the charger that you're gonna haveout of the box on both devices. You are gonna be ableto go from zero to 100%in roughly about an hour.If you do go for the 45 watt chargerwhich is gonna be soldseparately on the Note10+,then you can go from zeroto 70% in just 30 minutesso that's some super fast charging.Of course, we still do havewireless charging as wellbut the speed has been improved. We have 12-watt fast wirelesscharging on the Note10and we have 15-watt fastcharging on the Note10+so that's very fast wireless charging. In comparison, the Note9 had 7.5 wattso this is definitely a big improvement. Both devices also comewith Wireless PowerShareso this is where you're gonnabe able to use the devicesto charge another device wirelessly. And then of course, what separates the Noteseries from other devicesis the fact that it comes with an S Pen.So we've got some improvementsfor the S Pen this time around. So as well as the usual stuffwhich I'm sure a lotof people are used to,such as screen off memos,so that's just being able to take noteson the Always on Display, you have air actions. So on the Note9, you can usethe S Pen to take a picturewhile the Note9 wassitting somewhere else, maybe on a stand or something, but air actions now allow youto do more things with the cameraso if you hold the buttonand do a circle for example, that's gonna zoom in,and if you go anticlockwise,it's gonna zoom out.Going left to right is gonna change modesso it's quite interesting.I'm not sure how much I'll use it.Even with the timer, Idid use it occasionallybut I'm not sure how much I'm gonna usesome of these other features. We'll definitely seeonce we have morehands-on time with these.Samsung have also said thatthey've updated their algorithmsfor converting handwriting to textso you'll be able to exportthat into actual Word documentsand you'll also be able tosearch handwritten notesbecause of that recognition. You've also now got a built-inscreen recording featureso not only can you record the screenbut you can also have thefront-facing camera active. So this should help if you'resomebody who's a gamer maybe, and want to record your reactions. We also have Link to Windows. So this is gonna be a wireless linkbetween Windows on your phoneso if you get a text message, this is gonna pop upon your computer screenand you'll be able to accessyour recent photos as well. Now, in addition to that,we do have an ultrasonicin-display fingerprint scanneron both the Note10 and the Note10+but we no longer have a 3.5mm jack.RIP to the 3.5mm jacks.Samsung, one of the onlymanufacturers holding on to thatand we had it on the Galaxy S devicesbut it looks like they'refinally saying goodbye. If you are somebody whodoes find that important, then I'm sure you're gonnabe very, very disappointed. The one thing that might makeup for losing the 3.5mm jackis the fact that we no longerhave a dedicated Bixby button. So you can still access Bixbybut this is gonna be on the power button. If you press and hold the power button, you'll be able to activate Bixbybut there is not gonna bea separate, dedicated button this time.(Saf cheers)There's also improvements to DeXso now you can connectthe Note10 or the Note10+via USB Type-C to a computerand you're gonna be able touse more of a desktop interfaceand you also have AdobeRush optimized for Galaxyso if you are somebodywho's into video editing,it looks like Samsung is alsotaking this quite seriously. Now, finally, let's talk aboutpricing and availability. So the Note10 is gonnabe starting at $950.The Note10+ is gonnabe starting at $1,100.Now, there is gonna be a 5Gversion available as wellof the Note10+.I'm not sure about thepricing of that as yetbut these are the baseprices you can expectfor these new devices. And that's everythingthat you need to knowabout the Note10 and the Note10+.What do you guys think of these devices?Definitely drop me a comment belowand let me know your thoughts.I hope you enjoyed thisvideo and found it useful. If you did, then do hit thatthumbs up button for me.And if you haven't already, then be sure to subscribeand hit that bell iconso you don't miss any further coverage.(bell rings)Thanks for watching. This is Saf on SuperSaf
