Peripheral Paraphernalia! Patriot Memory at CES 2017

Patriot Peripherals: A Suite of High-Performance Gaming Gear

As I walked through the aisles of CES 2017, I had the opportunity to check out some of the latest and greatest gaming peripherals from Patriot, a company that's been making waves in the industry with their high-performance gear. In this article, we'll take a closer look at some of the key products from their suite, including the V5 70 Gaming Headset, the v5 30 Gaming Mouse, and more.

First up is the V5 70 Gaming Headset. This headset is a beast, with aggressive design and features that are sure to appeal to gamers looking for an immersive experience. The ear cups feature braided stitching, which gives them a nice, textured look. I was also impressed by the quality of the metal band that holds everything together - it's clear that Patriot put a lot of thought into the build quality of this headset. One of the standout features is the ability to activate a drumming mode through a volume wheel on the side of the ear cup. This feature creates a vibration effect through sub-sub drivers, adding an extra layer of immersion to games.

Another notable feature of the V5 70 Gaming Headset is its microphone. I was blown away by its quality - it's clear and crisp, with no noticeable distortion or background noise. The headset also comes equipped with a braided cable, which is designed to reduce wear and tear on the cable. Overall, this headset looks like a solid choice for gamers looking for high-quality audio and comfort.

Next up is the v5 30 Gaming Mouse. This mouse has a unique, aggressive design that's sure to appeal to fans of high-performance gaming gear. The mouse features 13 programmable buttons, with a laser sensor on the bottom that provides accurate tracking. I was also impressed by the built-in weight system - Patriot includes four different weights, which can be easily swapped out using a magnetic panel. This feature allows gamers to customize their experience and fine-tune their performance.

One of the standout features of the v5 30 Gaming Mouse is its RGB lighting. The mouse has a range of customizable colors that can be adjusted through software, and the effects are impressive - I was able to create some truly stunning light shows using this mouse. The mouse also features a sniper button, which is perfect for first-person shooter fans.

In addition to the v5 30 Gaming Mouse, Patriot also offers a range of other products in their suite, including a keyboard called the V3 and a headset called the b3 61. The V3 keyboard is designed with a more subdued aesthetic, but still features the same high-quality build quality as some of the other products from Patriot. It's worth noting that this keyboard does not have RGB lighting, although it does come equipped with customizable keys.

Finally, there's the V5 330 headset, which is similar to the V5 70 but without the extra features like drumming mode and sub-sub drivers. This headset still offers high-quality audio and a comfortable fit, making it a solid choice for gamers on a budget.

Overall, Patriot's suite of gaming peripherals looks like an impressive collection of high-performance gear that's sure to appeal to fans of competitive gaming. Whether you're looking for a top-of-the-line headset or a high-quality mouse, there's something in this suite that's bound to meet your needs.

The v5 30 Gaming Mouse features 12,000 dpi and Kill Brown switches under the keys which is really cool. I can actually see why they would choose to do it like this. It's not always about getting the highest amount of information but sometimes it's better to have a little bit of tactile feedback to help with accuracy.

The V3 keyboard features Kill Red switches, which are designed for speed and precision. The switches themselves are built in such a way that they can be adjusted using software, allowing gamers to customize their experience and fine-tune their performance. This level of customization is impressive, and it's clear that Patriot put a lot of thought into the design of this keyboard.

I was also impressed by the build quality of the V3 keyboard, which features a solid construction that should withstand even the most intense gaming sessions. The keys are spaced nicely apart, making it easy to type out commands quickly and accurately. Overall, this keyboard looks like a solid choice for gamers looking for a high-quality, customizable experience.

Overall, Patriot's suite of gaming peripherals is an impressive collection of high-performance gear that's sure to appeal to fans of competitive gaming. Whether you're looking for a top-of-the-line headset or a high-quality mouse, there's something in this suite that's bound to meet your needs. With their focus on build quality and customization options, it's clear that Patriot is committed to creating products that will help gamers perform at their best.
