**The Struggle is Real: Our YouTube Account Got Hacked**

We're back online, and it's been a wild ride trying to get our channel up and running again after it got hacked. It all started when we tweeted out for help on Twitter, saying that our account had been compromised and asking if anyone could assist us in getting it back.

We didn't hear anything from YouTube or their support team the first day, which was already starting to get frustrating. The next day, we tried tweeting again, but still no response. At this point, we were feeling pretty discouraged because it had been two whole days with no word from them.

Determined to resolve the issue, we decided to delete all our previous tweets and post a new one, hoping that would prompt a response from YouTube. And, just like that, we finally got a message from their support team. However, this was after we'd waited for two days, still with no direct message or response on Twitter.

The Community Forums to the Rescue

That's when we stumbled upon the YouTube Community Forums and filed out the form for help with the hijacking of our account. Someone there guided us through the process, and we were able to get back into our Google account.

It took about three days to complete this process, but it was a huge relief to have that step behind us. However, when we tried to access our YouTube channel, we found out that it had been terminated because of some "garbage" video posted by the hackers. This meant we'd have to wait another two days for it to get reinstated.

A Big Relief and a Lesson Learned

It was an incredibly stressful ordeal, but thankfully, we were able to get our channel back up and running. We're now taking all necessary measures to prevent this from happening again in the future, including installing anti-virus software, getting a VPN, and implementing other security measures.

We want to thank everyone who reached out with support and advice during this time, especially those who suggested possible hackers that could help us. However, we were cautious not to engage with anyone who might have had ulterior motives. Thankfully, the Community Forums provided the guidance we needed without any issues.

youtube channels we we get a lot of emails you know for sponsorships for you know sending sending us products stuff like that right so we got offered a good chunk of money to play a 30-second pre-roll for a company called cipher nft project by collider craftworks so you know we're like all right so we we tried download all their stuff it's not working we can't pull up their contract that we're supposed to sign for them and uh so we keep trying eventually we we get it downloaded and it's still not working i went to bed that night pretty frustrated pretty you know just trying to figure it out not really understanding what's going on the next morning you know i i decided alright it's sunday we're gonna take we're gonna have a nice break you know we're just going to take it easy and about five o'clock ish that afternoon i i got a notification on my phone that the two-step verification had been changed and then i checked our channel and uh well first they named it some like arc invest company or something like that so some trash and then they put on some legal fake bitcoin scam or something like that i'm not exactly sure it's like a live stream and that got our account terminated for the time being so you know we're scrambling to try to get the freaking channel back because we're freaking out but was like you know it's google they gotta have a way for us to get it back so you know we we watched like my my dad and i are the ones just working on this non-stop and we watch like as many videos on this as we can find and everyone says well what you gotta do is you gotta tweet it youtube right so you know we we we got on twitter we we have an old account and we tweeted youtube we're like hey our account got hacked how do we fix this like can you help us and we didn't hear response that day so the next day we start we tweeted a couple times no responses and at this point we're getting pretty discouraged because it's been two days no responses we don't know what to do we've been spending every waking moment trying to get this this channel back and um well on the third day for some reason we decided to delete all the all all the posts and uh just post not like do do the same post one more time because we're kind of running out of ideas and then we get a response so youtube's supposed to dm you after you follow them so we followed them way today never got dm waited two days still no dm and we actually never got a response back on twitter so that kind of sucked but we found another way through if you go to the youtube community forums we filed that we filled out a form someone helped us with all that stuff you know that they're like all right give us your details we gave them the stuff they gave us the hijacking form and that's how we got our gmail back that took us about three days to get through that process and then we still didn't have access to the youtube channel because it was terminated because the hackers put some i don't know garbage video on it that was so bad that youtube just terminated the whole channel and well it that took about another two days to get back but now we're here we have it back we're trying to get everything back to normal it'll it'll take us a couple days so have some patience but yeah no it's it's it's been pretty stressful it's a huge relief to have it back we thank you guys all all so much for your them to try to hack our channel back thankfully we got uh responded to by the community forum before we took that rash decision because i'm not sure what that would have done for us but yeah it's
