to all you Apple fanboys no we're not talking about the iPhone 5s we're talking about the Big Dawg the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 I fellas this the one we all been waiting for this is it just a big boy now we're going to do a quick unboxing y'all know I'm not really heavy into specs and all that but I thought I'm out there for y'all so you can see what it is for yourself first off let's take a look at the box and the presentation now everybody knows on like an ice box this is definitely an ice box has that wood grain kind of look to it and this looks nice for all my heavy hitters who got the box collection shelf this will look nice on your shelf on the back of the box got a quick rundown of the specs of course y'all know this is definitely floss certified before we even open it you already know that so let's see what it is now it's a two-part box you know you got the sleeve pop it open let's see what we get inside the box now you got the actual device now y'all y'all know I've been rocking this already since Friday but just for dramatic effect we do the plastic and all that back on it we'll pop that off in a minute let's see what we get inside the box fellas say it with me you get the usual books this you already know that goes straight to the books collection this is a case on this plastic that had the battery in it but since I been rocking the phone I already took the battery out do it in there you get the USB 3.0 cable we'll talk about that in a minute this is different but it also has backwards compatibility so you can use your regular you know micro USB if you don't feel like you know opening this one up but you should and we'll talk about that in a minute you get the plug now you get some quality Samsung headphones now I said this before and I'll say it again I like these headphones better than the stock apple headphones for a couple of reasons first of all these actually go into your ear you know the stock Apple ones are just like a one-size-fits-all these ones you can actually change the rubber to different sizes and they go into your hair so these ones actually sound better and it feels better to me and like I said it comes with different size you know different size for you everybody got different sized ear holes so different size for the air phones so that's a good look right there to me personally they sound better than the Apple ones but anyway they free I'll probably never use them because I use the beats and all that but um I like it when they throw something in there for free I like that and last but not least you get this now what this is this is a tool to change the tips of the S pen's so when your S Pen the tip starts getting beat down if you start pressing the screen too hard and it starts getting kind of flat you use this tool you pull out the tip and you got a bunch of extra tips alright so that's a good look right there so that's what you get inside the box now let's take a look at the actual phone itself Samsung Galaxy Note 3 fellas I can't stress enough this phone is a major go all right now y'all know I like to save my ratings until after I do the real review but just after using this phone for two days I can tell you how this phone is a win all right major would let's talk about some of the specs real quick for the display you got a 5.7 inch HD Super AMOLED display which is 1920 by 1080 what does that mean that means the display is gorgeous beautiful okay so that's what that means all that fancy stuff if you don't understand what that means it just means that the display is bangin alright let me turn this down beautiful HD display all right processor is running a 2.3 quad-core processor all right 2.3 quad-core processor what does that mean again fellas if y'all don't know it all that fancy stuff means mumbo jumbo that means that it's super fast that means it's faster than your Galaxy Note 2 faster than your Galaxy S 4 fascinating HTC One alright it's super fast now the phone comes with three gigs of RAM built-in yeah I know the note had two gigs of rams three gigs of RAM and like I said before if you're not a techie nerdy kind of dude and you don't understand what all that means trust me the phone is super fast and the three gigs of ram and it do you know the 2.3 quad-core processor all that stuff means is your phone is going to be running faster when you open it Facebook and you open it Twitter and you got multiple apps open at the same time your phone is not going to lag out you lock on to the web and you hit a website and you got to download some stuff it's going to download fast alright so that's all that mumble jumble that's what that means it's running Android 4.3 jelly bean so it's the latest version of Android battery 3200 milliamp battery alright so that's the biggest one yet out of all the notes 3200 milliamps y'all know the original note had a 3100 this is 32 honey okay so let's look around the phone real quick on the top plus you got your speaker right there you got your front facing camera 2 megapixels yeah that's pretty good for you know FaceTime not not FaceTime um tango I don't really use that kind of but for your cash that'd be doing tango and Google Talk and all that 2.0 megapixel camera for the front it's not bad and for your dudes that be taking selfies all the ladies huh you know I don't judge out all all the ladies that with your selfies to the 2.0 megapixel camera for the front is decent I it comes out good as long as you got good lighting it's going to come out good you got your sensors on the front you got your home button now you got to touch capacitive you got the menu and you got back ok but I like phones that have an actual home button ok so that's a good look right there on the side of the phone you got the power button that's it on the other side you got the volume up and down that's it on the top you got your IR blaster we'll get into that in a minute you got your 3.5 millimeter headphone jack on the back of the phone you got a 13 megapixel camera and now fellas the camera on this is ago I took a couple of pictures yesterday I took a couple of a couple of pictures last night the cameras are going this one alright 13 megapixels and of course you got the mighty s-pen now this is a redesigned S Pen it looks a lot better than the last one because it has that metal kind of tip to it you know and it has like a grip if you can look at it up close you see how it's like a textured feel to it now one thing I like about this S Pen button and last one is this one you could put it in either way you remember the last one you have to put it in with the bevel up so if you put it upside down it won't go in this one you can put it in either way and it goes right back in so that's definitely a good look on the bottom now you got to speak on the bottom that's another change because I remember on the note to speak on the back we're just kind of wack because when you put your cases on and all that muffle out the speakers so now we got speak on the bottom and you got your USB 3.0 slash micro USB connection port at the bottom alright now if you look around the phone you see it has the now as like the metal look to the sides so that's nice and it's also textured like the s-pen so when you hold it in your hand it has a nice grip to it now let's compare real quick with the Galaxy Note 2 if you look closely you can see the note 3 is thinner it's also lighter so it's thinner and lighter and has a bigger battery now I had a lot of cats saying that you know should I get the note 3 I already got the note 2 it's not really that much of a upgrade fellas the phone is thinner it's lighter it has a bigger battery a bigger screen more RAM I mean it's definitely upgrade now if you got the note tune that doesn't mean that you know you're going to run out and get the note 3 but if you like to be on top of the food chain like me then you definitely need to know 3 you can feel the difference in the weight with no cases on the note 3 is definitely lighter that texture grip on the side makes it feel better in your hands trust me this is a go fellas now keep in mind the note 3 comes in two versions all right there's no more 16 gigs so now you got a 32 gig version and you got a 64 gig version now I went with a 32 gig version because I got a bunch of phones and stuff so I'm not going to have all my on this phone but um if you only got one phone and you want to have a whole bunch of memory then get the 64 gig version and keep in mind fellas this is what shuts the iPhones and all that stuff down if you look at the back of the phone let's take the back off real quick if you take the back off you got a slot for microSD card alright now I just pop this one in it out of the day I grabbed the wrong when I just notice I got the 1 gig version this is probably from one of my old school cameras or something but um you could put whatever size microSD card you want in there so if you get the 32 gig version and you got a 32 gig microSD card do the math all right like I said big a battery 3200 milliamps let's take a look at the back cover real quick now it has that leather look to it all right you see that stitching has the nice stitching on it now some people think this is leather but fellas is not leather it's plastic but it's like all my old school dudes y'all know what I'm talking about remember back in the days if you couldn't afford to get a leather jacket what did you do you got the pleather jacket you know I'm saying it's not real leather but it has the same effect and with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 it's not real leather but it gives you that leather leather rich look to it so we call it the pleather back but it looks nice too and you see that stitching on it it looks nice it looks like if you have one of those real notebooks you know like a real binder notebook the fancy ones that come in leather it gives you that look to it you know and it feels nice when you hold it in your hand it feels a nice leather grip now I just ordered a bunch of cases for it shout out the speech and I just ordered a couple of speeding ones I ordered the arm speaking speech and y'all know what I'm talking about I ordered the slim Armour and I ordered um off the top man I remember but I ordered a couple of cases so judging by the back at first you see how it looks kind of puffy I wasn't sure if all of the cases you're going to have to take the back off to put the cases on but when I looked at the cases online you just slap them right on top of this so that kind of puffy look to it is not going to affect the case you know saying it's not going to fit your case foot okay I just activated some kind of flashlight all right but fellas this is secure now also let me talk about the IR blaster real quick now we're going to get into all of the features you know the s-pen has so many features it's ridiculous this phone has so many new features but we'll talk about that in a real review all right I got a really play with the phone for a whole week to really master all the features even though you know I'm saying this you know some of the features are the same from the note 2 but this has a lot more new features so I got to play with them all week long and really get the hang of it but let's talk about the IR blaster now with the IR blaster that means you can use your phone as a universal remote ok so now if you've never heard of samsung watch on fellas if you got a smart TV check out samsung watch on alright you can use the phone as a remote control and Samsung watch on is definite say you know you can save all your programs that you like when you have work or whatever you can just browse through see what's coming also by the time you get home you know you know you already know what's coming on as soon as you get home press the button bon write it to your TV alright so all my cats you know if you know I used to use this one the most Google TV remote because I got Google TV but after using Samsung watch on I haven't used my Google TV remote in a minute I've been rocking with the Samsung watch on that's a good look right there now the note 3 comes in two colors so far from Sprint you got the jet black and you got the white I went with the black because I played with the white one in the store and even though both of them have that same leisure uh leather rich look to the back the pleather look the white one it just feels more plasticky and I'm saying the black one it feels more like leather not to mention the store I went to I wanted to get the Galaxy gear so they only had the Galaxy gear in a couple of colors so I wanted them to match so that they had the black galaxy gear welcome box this in a minute so I went with the black phone to keep everything mentioned all right now fellas on a scale of one to ten fresh out the box I'm giving this phone a ten fresh out the box y'all know the note 2 used to be my favorite phone and then I don't know it started feeling like a little bit of hiccups here and there you know I got so much on here I don't know it just didn't feel like smooth as it used to feel when I first got it so the HTC One became my favorite phone now is the note 3 able to take my spot at the top from the HTC one well fellas let's wait to the real review to find that out now I'm gonna keep it real child the note 3 is definitely my new favorite phone I am going to beat around the bush with trying on keep y'all in suspense the note 3 is sick it's so light in the hand I mean when you it feels big like the 5.7 inch screen you know when you look at it and I got big hands so I don't look that big in my hand but if you got small hands the phone looks really big but surprisingly since it's so thin and light when you throw it in your pocket it doesn't even feel like it takes up that much space so all y'all skinny jean wearing doing you can still rocket galaxy note 3 you might see a little imprint on your pants but you know do that work regular man's clothes this fits right in your pocket with no problem at all and I'm really diggin that you know that metal look with the textured side it feels nice when you hold it in the end I like our feels so on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm giving this a solid 10 straight out the box now next week when I do the real review I'll show you how all of the features and all that like one of these I'll show you one feature real quick that I've been using a lot is in command alright in command is sick now I got mine set up that soon as I take my X pen out here command pops up but if you want you can turn that off and you can make it where you just got to hold the button over the screen and Air Command pops up now if you look close fellas I'm not touching the screen all you got to do is hover over it and you can rock the air come in so it has a lot of air gestures a lot of motion features some of y'all cats think is kind of gimmick in on that but trust me after you start using this for a while you're going to realize that this is not gimmicks you know these actually work you're just going to take the time to learn them and use them like one feature I've been using a lot is the action memo actually memos sick let me give you our quick demonstration of that before we get out here so say I got the action memo open and um maybe I had an email open on the side I don't want to go through my emails and right now but I'm saying on an email open underneath it and I wanted to grab a phone number out of the email to call a person instead of going before like we have to write it down on the side or try to memorize it real quick you could just write the number down and you can highlight it another menu pops up so now just that number I wrote down you can either call it you can save it to your contacts you can send them a message an email you could browse check the browser for that you know any related information to that you get the map or you can set a task so say we just want to call the number won't take you right to the number so trust me now I don't know if that was the same number because I wrote it kind of sloppy but um trust me fellas it worked all you got to do is take your time and write neat don't write your tools like mine I'm saying let me see you did that did that pop up the right number okay 201 3 okay so it popped up the right numbers and I wrote that math sloppy some fellas trust me get to get to know the s-pen you know a lot of cats have the note 2 and they barely even use the test pen you know I'm saying this is what separates the note 3 from the iPhone 5s from the HTC One from the Galaxy S 4 from the LG g2 the Motorola this is what separates this phone from all of those other phones is the mighty S Pen all right nothing is touching the note 3 out write down none I'm gonna just keep it on with y'all nothing is touching the note 3 and I played with it you know y'all know I don't really flow with LG but my do that my job got a lg g2 I've been playing with it you know fooling around with a hand there I'm gonna just keep it on to a job there's nothing out right now that's touching this Note 3 so if you got a note to do like I did put it up on Craigslist put it up on Instagram try to move it out here if you can now I'm selling this one so dudes if in two colors so far from Sprint you got the jet black and you got the white I went with the black because I played with the white one in the store and even though both of them have that same leisure uh leather rich look to the back the pleather look the white one it just feels more plasticky and I'm saying the black one it feels more like leather not to mention the store I went to I wanted to get the Galaxy gear so they only had the Galaxy gear in a couple of colors so I wanted them to match so that they had the black galaxy gear welcome box this in a minute so I went with the black phone to keep everything mentioned all right now fellas on a scale of one to ten fresh out the box I'm giving this phone a ten fresh out the box y'all know the note 2 used to be my favorite phone and then I don't know it started feeling like a little bit of hiccups here and there you know I got so much on here I don't know it just didn't feel like smooth as it used to feel when I first got it so the HTC One became my favorite phone now is the note 3 able to take my spot at the top from the HTC one well fellas let's wait to the real review to find that out now I'm gonna keep it real child the note 3 is definitely my new favorite phone I am going to beat around the bush with trying on keep y'all in suspense the note 3 is sick it's so light in the hand I mean when you it feels big like the 5.7 inch screen you know when you look at it and I got big hands so I don't look that big in my hand but if you got small hands the phone looks really big but surprisingly since it's so thin and light when you throw it in your pocket it doesn't even feel like it takes up that much space so all y'all skinny jean wearing doing you can still rocket galaxy note 3 you might see a little imprint on your pants but you know do that work regular man's clothes this fits right in your pocket with no problem at all and I'm really diggin that you know that metal look with the textured side it feels nice when you hold it in the end I like our feels so on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm giving this a solid 10 straight out the box now next week when I do the real review I'll show you how all of the features and all that like one of these I'll show you one feature real quick that I've been using a lot is in command alright in command is sick now I got mine set up that soon as I take my X pen out here command pops up but if you want you can turn that off and you can make it where you just got to hold the button over the screen and Air Command pops up now if you look close fellas I'm not touching the screen all you got to do is hover over it and you can rock the air come in so it has a lot of air gestures a lot of motion features some of y'all cats think is kind of gimmick in on that but trust me after you start using this for a while you're going to realize that this is not gimmicks you know these actually work you're just going to take the time to learn them and use them like one feature I've been using a lot is the action memo actually memos sick let me give you our quick demonstration of that before we get out here so say I got the action memo open and um maybe I had an email open on the side I don't want to go through my emails and right now but I'm saying on an email open underneath it and I wanted to grab a phone number out of the email to call a person instead of going before like we have to write it down on the side or try to memorize it real quick you could just write the number down and you can highlight it another menu pops up so now just that number I wrote down you can either call it you can save it to your contacts you can send them a message an email you could browse check the browser for that you know any related information to that you get the map or you can set a task so say we just want to call the number won't take you right to the number so trust me now I don't know if that was the same number because I wrote it kind of sloppy but um trust me fellas it worked all you got to do is take your time and write neat don't write your tools like mine I'm saying let me see you did that did that pop up the right number okay 201 3 okay so it popped up the right numbers and I wrote that math sloppy some fellas trust me get to get to know the s-pen you know a lot of cats have the note 2 and they barely even use the test pen you know I'm saying this is what separates the note 3 from the iPhone 5s from the HTC One from the Galaxy S 4 from the LG g2 the Motorola this is what separates this phone from all of those other phones is the mighty S Pen all right nothing is touching the note 3 out write down none I'm gonna just keep it on with y'all nothing is touching the note 3 and I played with it you know y'all know I don't really flow with LG but my do that my job got a lg g2 I've been playing with it you know fooling around with a hand there I'm gonna just keep it on to a job there's nothing out right now that's touching this Note 3 so if you got a note to do like I did put it up on Craigslist put it up on Instagram try to move it out here if you can now I'm selling this one so dudes if you're interested hit me up on some person you know personal message
