these are all these samsung galaxy buds that have come out over the last three years and i'll be comparing them using the ca scoring method if you'd like to check these out the links will be in the three of the packages right here we got the galaxy buds the galaxy buds plus and the galaxy buds alive galax buds plus and the galaxy blood turners have the exact same packaging with a plus on the box instead of just nothing very similar the buds live pretty similar also just with the buds a little bit cleaner looking in my opinion all right galaxy buds all right galaxy buds plus galaxy buds live got all three of them right here so you get this little insert for all three of them the top just with the manual all three of them have it then you get the headphones themselves and you get all the little accessories at the bottom right here we got the usbc charger all the hooks and ear tips for the buds plus we get another charger same ear hooks and ear tips for the buds live we get a charger and we get two of those little rubber ear adjustment things because they're not your tips they're not your hooks they're just kind of your adjustments all right now for the design of the case looking at all three of them side by side the galaxy buds and the galaxy buds plus pretty much have the same general design with small differences then there are the buds live which have a completely different design there's being square shape where the other two have a pill shape all three of them say samsung and the sound by akg on the top of the case the buds plus and the buds live both have a shiny finish where the one on the original buds just has a matte finish all three of them have flat bottoms all three charge via usb c they all have wireless charging all three of them have the led on the outside of the case you definitely can see the evolution of the lids though like the original version they have this ratchet to them like where they stop in the middle but the snap is pretty satisfying the next version is really smooth and satisfying with a good snap and the lid mechanism from the pluses carries over to the buds live they all do have an led on the inside of the case too between the two earbuds now for the design of the earbuds looking at all three of them at the same time the galaxy buds and the galaxy buds plus pretty much have the exact same design just like the case of the two but there are a few differences between the two the ear tip is now clear instead of a solid color they have the same ear hook the plastic on the galaxy buds is matte like the case where the plastic on the belts plus is polished just like the case the buds plus also have another little cutout on the earbud where there's another mic which is why the mic quality has improved so much they both have ear sensors on them all right now for the galaxy but it's live they have a completely different design they are shaped like a bean they have a polished finish that looks really clean they don't have an ear tip on them they have a vent on the outside and two little cut out dots they have a speaker grille for the main part of your ear and there's a secondary grille on them too where the other two earbuds only produce music from a single area these also do have ear sensors on them and they have a little rubber thing around the charging area and that part is exchangeable overall the original buds and the buds plus fit perfectly in my ear but the buds live don't fit as snug and secure and the buds live give me significant ear wear when i'm using them now for the price of the three these prices may change in the future but currently the galaxy buds go for around 100 us dollars the galaxy buds plus go for around 130 us dollars the galaxy buds live go for around 170 us dollars but if you check my affiliate links in the description you can see from like 40 to 50 dollars off the original price now for the audio quality of the three after listening to all three of them comparing them each this is my conclusion personally my two favorites are the galaxy buds plus and the buds live the original buds they sound good too they just aren't quite as punchy and they don't have quite as much depth as the other two but they do sound still pretty good the galaxy buds plus they sound really good i mean they're i've been using them for a while they're probably my favorite earbuds to listen to they just have they just sound really good they have good depth they set everything sounds crisp you have equalizer in the app and then the galaxy builds live they also sound very good and they have far more depth because they come out of two different ear little parts they have a primary driver and a and a subwoofer and so they sound they have a lot more depth in my opinion they're kind of you can block them off pretty easily like with your ear if it's not perfectly aligned with your ear canal then you don't get all the audio so there can be little issues there but they sound dude sound really good also they all have noise cancellation like the originals they seal off really well so they have good noise cancellation so do the buds plus the buds live have active noise cancellation which isn't like it's not like airpods proactive noise cancellation it's just mainly it reduces like hum noises and just like outside just noises like that like not nothing like a like a clap or anything it won't block that out it doesn't block out voices just mainly for ambient noises that are just chilling and you know it just seals those off they all do have transparency mode on the on the original buds the transparency mode is kind of kind of bad i'm gonna be honest it's like it's slightly delayed and it just doesn't sound quite as good but then the galaxy buds plus these things their ambient mode sounds very good and it almost sounds like your own ear and you you can even upgrade to like super human hearing with like the labs part it makes it so you can hear like almost more than your ear can hear and then the these ones they do have transparency but really they don't seal off very well so you pretty much can hear everything all around you pretty much already but they do have an option to transparency to reduce tension in your ears now for the battery life of the three the galaxy buds can get around six hours of audio playback with an additional seven hours with a case the galaxy buds plus can get 11 hours of audio playback with an additional 11 hours of the case the buds live can get eight hours of audio playback with an additional 24 hours with the case now for the connectivity of the three all right now for the pairing process of the three we're gonna start on ios just because all right open the case there they are pair them and there they are that was very quick now for the original galaxy buds there they are click on them and they are also paired alright now for the galaxy buds live open the case there they are click pair and they are paired right there got all three of them all right now we're going on android open the case press scan you get a little pop-up very cool press connect you get transferred to the galaxy wearable app which i guess we're going to have to update great all right and you get to the galaxy we're black get started got all the options galaxy buds these are the galaxy buds plus there they are click on them and you get pretty much the exact thing on ios all right now we're going to pair the original galaxy buds you also get a little pop-up press connect you also have to do a little update open the case i should get a little pop-up but just in case i didn't so i just clicked on the thing compared to that continue got it all right and we have pretty much the similar pretty much the exact same app as the buds plus now for the mic quality of the three all right so in my ears right now are the galaxy bud pluses and this is the my quality you can expect from them testing testing one two three i hope you can hear my voice nice and clearly it seems that they are portraying over nicely onto the voice app and just testing testing one two three i hope they sound pretty good just tap on the earbud make sure that it's coming from there and yeah all right now we're gonna do the crowd effect in the background all right so now i have the crowd affecting the background this is my quality section then testing testing one two three hopefully all it's just this good representation representation see how this would react in a setting like that all right all right so in my ears right now are the galaxy buds the original ones and this the my quality can expect from them testing testing one two three i hope you can hear my voice loud and clear and accurately hopefully they sound pretty good i will also be including the stadium crowd effect noise in the background so see how they compare with that ready get set go all right so in the background we have the stadium the features and cool things all right now for the features and cool things so we got the galaxy buds right here galaxy buds plus galaxy buds live they both have wireless charging they both have led indicators on them for noise cancellation the galaxy buds and the galaxy bloods plus have passive noise cancellation where the galaxy buzz live have active noise cancellation they all have ambient mode they all have ear sensors they'll have android software integration only the galaxy notes plus and the galaxy was live have ios software integration they all have auto pairing for water resistance the galaxy buds the originals do not have any and the other two have ipx 2 water resistance which is like sweat resistance they all have fast charging for the galaxy buds the original it's 15 minutes of charge for 1.7 hours of battery for the galaxy buds plus it's three minutes of charge for one hour of battery life and for the galaxy buds live it's five minutes of charging for one hour of battery life all right so on ios the galaxy buds plus and the galaxy plus live both are compatible with the galaxy buds app and you can pretty much you can do all these settings but you can do that for the original galaxy buds they only work on android phones all right we're gonna go over this real quick all right this is for the galaxy buds plus so you got battery up here this is your ambient sound this is the super hearing this is normal those are your options you can have an equalizer you can adjust pretty much everything touch controls you can adjust all that advanced use ambient sound during call labs these are just to double tap edge and that is to turn up and reduce volume find my earbuds general that is pretty much it now for the galaxy buds live you also get pretty much the exact same app active noise cancellation get all that equalizer stuff touch controls all that labs just to relieve pressure with the ambient sound find my earbuds and yeah and you get pretty much the exact thing on ios let's say i'm on android but also you get dark mode but pretty much everything is the same very cool all right this is for the original galaxy buds you get battery you don't get the case get an equalizer it's different looking than the other ones read notifications allowed touch controls ambient sound and yeah not quite as many features but yeah okay now for the galaxy buds live all right and we have pretty much the similar pretty much the exact same app as the buds plus with the same equalizer active noise cancellation is new touch controls read notifications allowed advanced which set up bixby to use voice wake up that's cool seamless earbud connection labs gaming mode to minimize audio delay really pressure all right that's different and yeah you get the case and the earbuds for these ones too now for my personal opinion all right so after comparing all three of these for the last little while this is my conclusion the galaxy the original galaxy buds are great but they they just aren't quite as good as the buds plus and personally between the buds plus the buds live i would pick the buds plus honestly they just they fit me better they'd have better noise cancellation better ambient mode they fit better in my ear and i just like them a lot better the buds live are great but they just just their weird design with the beans that just doesn't seal off the outside doesn't quite fit my needs and also gives me ear wear that which is it's personal if they fit in your ear or not but like so personally the buds live fit in my ear a lot better and i
