**Exploring the 2013 Dubai Motor Show: A Glimpse Inside Ferrari’s Stand**
Hi guys, I'm Shamir at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show. You wouldn't believe it—there are cars everywhere around me, with a combined horsepower of over 5,000! It's an incredible scene, and I’m here to take you through one of the most anticipated debuts at this year’s show: the Ferrari 458 Speciale, making its regional debut.
We’re standing on the Ferrari stand, and the excitement is palpable as we prepare to reveal the new car. Let’s move around to the back of the 458 Speciale. This is where I’ll showcase some of the features that make this car special—both in terms of design and performance.
Starting with the interior, one of the standout features is the floating carbon console right in the middle. It’s a beautiful blend of form and function, and there's a lot of carbon fiber visible throughout the dash and steering wheel. Inside, you’ll find race seats, four-point harnesses, and custom badges for this special edition car. The door cards and sills are also made from carbon, adding to the sleek, lightweight feel.
Moving outside, one of the most noticeable changes is the redesigned side skirts. They have an interesting wing shape that adds both style and aerodynamic efficiency. The wheels are lighter than before, which not only enhances performance but also contributes to the overall weight reduction of the vehicle. Swinging around to the back, we can see the exhaust pipes—no longer in their traditional three-point center setup but now positioned as two separate pipes on either side. Underneath the car, there are red flaps that deploy to aid downforce when needed. These flaps come down automatically based on speed and driving conditions, ensuring optimal aerodynamic performance.
Looking at the front of the car, there’s a new air scoop integrated into the side skirts. These flaps open up with the right amount of wind to increase cooling and airflow into the engine bay. The same goes for the bonnet; there's a central stripe that helps funnel air through the car, improving both aerodynamics and engine performance.
It’s worth mentioning that this is the first time the 458 Speciale is being shown in the Middle East, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. With its aggressive lines and sleek design, it’s turning heads at the show. While we’re on the Ferrari stand, I can also show you some of their other models: the F12 Berlinetta with its impressive 730 horsepower, the iconic 458 Spider, and the FF, all displayed in Roso, a classic Ferrari color that looks absolutely stunning.
