The Next Live Session: Dive Deep into SVM's and Decision Trees
The next live session that we will be conducting will be on the 8th of September, which is the coming Sunday, and this time we are continuing on the older series that we started, which is dive deep sessions. So, this time we'll dive deep into SVM's because last time we finished up to linear logistic regression and gradient descent methods. This time, we'll start with SVM's and decision tree-based methods. Right? In this case, we'll dive into each of these concepts.
I'll try to expose you to two types of problems that you would encounter in interviews so these dive deep sessions will be more like I will give you various cases and I want you guys who are participating in the live session too to tell me how we would solve these cases. You can also think of this as we have done in the past or you can also think of this as an interview preparation session. Right? So, we're going to expose you to lots of problems that you'll encounter at a wide spectrum of companies right everything from services companies to top-notch product-based companies.
So, for this, we'll use our official SLAG group within the SLAG group, we have the missingness channel, which we'll use for all of the discussion and live discussion. This is a very interactive session just like our previous sessions. Right? So, we'll use the Slack Slack miscellaneous channel for all of the discussion, and this live session is for all registered students and you got to access it using the desktop app.
The session will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 in the noon, and we will try to cover as much as possible in those tours. We'll try to cover a wide spectrum of questions and problems that you will encounter in real-world instances also in interviews especially around SVM's and decision trees.
I strongly recommend all students who are participating in this to cover SVM's in the course videos and in the assignments corresponding to SVM's and decision trees if time permits. We'll also cover some questions around random forests and abilities if time does not permit. We'll have one more session to dive deep into random forests and decision trees again.
In this dive deep sessions, we are going algorithm by algorithm once we finish all of them we'll go into deep learning for sure.
