A Fun Collaboration: Book Character Heads Up Game with Sasha from Utopia

I'm excited to welcome my friend Sasha from the book club, Utopia, who's visiting me in Austin. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to collaborate and create a fun video together. Specifically, we wanted to play a game where we put the book characters on each other's heads and try to guess who they are. This game is called "Heads Up," and it's a popular challenge where one person asks questions about a character, and their friends or family members try to answer correctly.

We started our game with Sasha going first. She asked me a series of questions to identify the book character on her head. The questions were: Am I a female? Yes. Am I part of a series? Yes. Is my species human? Kind of. Does my species have supernatural powers? No kind of. Have I met the author who wrote this character? Think so, but not sure. Does my world involve fighting monsters or demons? Yes. Am I in the Shadow and Hunter World? Yes! And finally, am I depicted as having brown hair or blonde hair? I'll get to that later. Sasha also asked if I was part of a very popular series, which I answered with a yes.

Next, it was my turn. I asked Sasha questions about her character on my head. The first question was: Am I a female? No. Is this character human? Yes. Have I met the author who wrote this character? Think I have. Does my world involve fighting monsters or demons? Yes. Am I part of the P Glass series? Yes! And, finally, is my name Dimitri?

Round two began with Sasha asking me a question about her character on my head. She asked: Am I a female? No. Is this character from a contemporary novel? No. Is my species human? Yes. Am I from a fantasy novel? Yes. Is this book part of a series? Yes. Is it from the Falling Kingdoms series? Think so... or am I? Does this world have magical elements? Yes. And is my name Cass?

I then asked Sasha questions about her character on my head. The first question was: Am I a male? Yes. Is this character human? Yes. Have I met the author who wrote this character? No idea. Is this book part of historical fiction with fantastical elements? Think so... but without time travel? Does this book have supernatural powers or magical realism? Um, yeah. And is it from Passenger?

Next, Sasha asked me if my world is straight-up historical fiction, rather than having fantastical elements. I said that her book doesn't fit neatly into a category, as it involves time travel and has fantastical elements. She then asked if her character is Jamie Fraser from the Outlander series. I had to admit that I didn't know, but she confidently stated that my character was indeed Jamie.

As we concluded our game, Sasha and I agreed that round two was a tie. We both enjoyed playing this game together and were surprised by how many times our answers matched. Despite not knowing some of the books or characters correctly, it was still a fun and engaging experience.
