Nokia Lumia 620 Camera Review

**Nokia Lumia 620 Camera Review**

The Nokia Lumia 620 comes with some simple settings that can be accessed by clicking on the photo settings. From here, users can set the scene, such as close-up, night, and so on. The camera also has an option to set the ISO if desired. Additionally, users can adjust the exposure, white balance, and aspect ratio of their photos. There is also a focus light setting that can be turned off or on at will.

**Automatic Scene Detection**

The Lumia 620 features automatic scene detection, which allows it to automatically detect the scene being captured. This feature was tested in various conditions, including auto mode, where the camera performed decently but not exceptionally well. However, when testing with the flash enabled, the camera did a better job of capturing the image.

**Shooting Modes**

The Lumia 620 also features different shooting modes, including video recording. Users can record videos in 720p resolution and at a high frame rate. The camera's internal microphone is capable of recording clear audio, making it suitable for everyday use.

**Video Recording**

In terms of video recording, the Lumia 620 performed well outdoors, but struggled indoors due to artificial lighting conditions. When shooting videos indoors, the camera struggled to capture clear footage, especially in low-light conditions. The lack of a front-facing camera was also a limitation.

**Low-Light Performance**

The Lumia 620's performance in low-light conditions was lacking. The camera struggled to capture clear photos and videos, especially when there was no additional lighting source available. This was evident in the indoor shots taken with the phone, which showed soft and grainy images.

**Camera Roll App**

The camera roll app on the Lumia 620 is fast and easy to use, making it convenient for users to view and manage their photos. The app allowed users to view all of their captured photos in full screen, giving a better idea of the camera's performance in different conditions.

**Real-World Testing**

To get a better understanding of the camera's capabilities, real-world testing was conducted using the Lumia 620. Photos were taken in various lighting conditions, including outdoors and indoors. The results showed that while the camera did not perform exceptionally well, it was still capable of capturing decent images, especially when shooting outdoors.

**Video Test**

Videos were also recorded with the Lumia 620, both outdoors and indoors. The outdoor footage was clear and smooth, but the indoor footage struggled due to the lack of natural lighting. The internal microphone performed well in recording audio, making the video suitable for everyday use.

**Comparison to Other Cameras**

The Nokia Lumia 620's camera performance compared to other cameras is a subject of debate. While it may not be the sharpest camera out there, its affordability makes up for its shortcomings. For an affordable price point, the Lumia 620 delivers decent image quality, making it a viable option for those looking for a budget-friendly Windows 8 phone.

**Conclusion**

The Nokia Lumia 620's camera performance is a mixed bag. While it does well outdoors and captures decent photos, it struggles indoors due to artificial lighting conditions. The lack of a front-facing camera and low-light performance are notable limitations. However, considering its affordability, the Lumia 620 delivers decent image quality that is suitable for everyday use.

have I have seen uh let me just go back and let me also show you the actual uh uh video interface we can shift to the front facing camera if you would like for example like this and this is the front- so that you get a better idea regarding the camera performance of this Nokia Lumia 620 these shots were taken with the Lumia 620's rear facing camera uh at full resolution that's 5 map and as you can see Outdoors it does a decent job but again the pctures are not the sharpest but I would say good enough and these was sh in semi-indoor conditions and here the weakness of the Lumia 620 just shows and the pictures tend to be a lot softer indoors now I'll show you some of the videos that I shot with the Lumia 620 I'm recording this video with the Nokia Lumia 620 and I'm recording it at the highest setting that's possible that's 720p and the audio that you're hearing is also being recorded by the internal microphone let me just walk around in my roof Cur and it's a little bit bright over here let's go here and it looks like it's adjusting to the wearing uh light conditions and let's just go back now and and this should give you an idea how the Nokia Lumia 620 records Outdoors now I'm shooting this videos indoor in completely artificial light sorry for my messy desk and uh this is in completely artificial light let's see how well this uh Lumia 620 handles that so this should give again when the flash got fired again the details are not that great even with the Flash and this is the same photograph that I took without the flash photo of the snowball mic without the flash it's a little bit blurry and this is when the flash was fired so what do I feel about the camera performance of this Nokia Lumia 620 Outdoors it does a decent job for a 5 mapix shooter again it's not the sharpest I I would say but acceptable uh picture quality now coming to indoors here the weaknesses are shown a little bit and if the subject is a little bit far the flash does not help that much and the pictures come out to be little bit what do you say soft or grainy so again it does a decent job considering the price point at which this phone sells it's a very affordable Windows 8 phone uh but
