A Heartfelt Thank You to My Amazing Book-to-Friends

As I sit here surrounded by the treasures sent to me by my dear friends, Cassidy and Jamie, from across the miles, I am filled with gratitude and love. The stories we share about our lives, our passions, and our interests are truly special bonds that connect us in a way that transcends physical distance.

I must say, I was absolutely thrilled when I opened my package to find a beautiful ornament from Cassidy's friend in Louisiana! I have always been fascinated by the different cultures and traditions of various regions, and this thoughtful gift from afar only added to the excitement. The ornament is not only stunning but also serves as a reminder of our friendship and the connections we make with one another.

Speaking of which, my dear friends know that I adore makeup, although I don't get to wear it as much as I used to. Cassidy sent me a gorgeous eyeshadow palette from the Royal collection, which features beautiful neutrals like champagne and bronze. The addition of a black eyeliner pencil is the perfect finishing touch! I am so grateful for this gift, not just because of its beauty but also because it reminds me that our friends are always thinking of us.

But what truly touched my heart was the thoughtful gesture from Cassidy to create a beautiful collage with a quote from JK Rowling. The phrase "the stories we love best live in us forever" resonates deeply with me, and I am so grateful that she took the time to craft this special keepsake just for me. It's now proudly displayed on my bookshelf, serving as a constant reminder of our friendship and the magic of Harry Potter.

Meanwhile, Jamie sent me an incredible bundle of goodies! First, there was a wonderful book, Sapphire Blue by Kristen Gear, which I had been eager to read anyway. I love when friends have extra copies of books and generously share them with one another. It's such a kind gesture that not only saves us money but also reduces waste.

Next up was an adorable Nemo pop figurine from my favorite Disney movie, Finding Nemo! Who wouldn't adore a cute little Nemo friend to keep on their shelf? I'm so grateful for this delightful gift, especially since it showcases Jamie's thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The last but certainly not least, she sent me a beautifully designed notebook with gold polka dots and a pencil – the perfect combination of style and functionality.

Last but certainly not least was the bookmark from Jamie featuring Monsters University! As a huge fan of both Monsters Inc and Monsters University, I am absolutely thrilled to add this special keepsake to my collection. It's such a sweet gesture that always brings a smile to my face whenever I think of it.

As I reflect on the incredible gifts sent by Cassidy and Jamie, I am reminded of just how much our book-to-friends community means to me. These friendships are truly special bonds that connect us across distances and foster a sense of belonging and love. the people that participate in this were um me of course then we have Jamie and IR books Cassidy from Cassidy Von and Beth over at Beth June 327 and we just all decided not to get each other way too much especially me because I probably got them all really crap gifts because I was poor this year and I couldn't really afford things so I got little joke gag gifts I hope that's okay everybody anyway they all got me awesome things I feel horrible I'm a horrible friend but nevertheless I'm going to show you what they got me cuz it's pretty cool they were awesome they were so so awesome awesome girls us to be subscribed to them all because they're all awesome again with Beth Beth um got me two things of candy which are gone because candy does not last long in this house yeah got me which I mentioned in my December book haul this exclusive collector's edition of Eleanor and Park and it's a signed copy and I was like what this is one of my favorite books I love Rainbow roll and this is I think this is my favorite book of hers anyway it's signed if you can see that probably not the light's horrible today but it also has lots of pretty artwork in it like look at that beautiful artwork and it's got the EMP on it it's it's just a very very very beautiful coffee like I will forever cherish this so thank you so much and she also got me this adorable bookmark it's magnetic page clips and it says love on it I love love so this was a such a such a cute gift and I can't wait to use these because good eing bookmart now next Cassidy sent me a couple things she sent me two ornaments which are backed away which I can't show you I'm so sorry but they were glittery like she's from Louisiana so she sent me like a lobster ornament if I'm not mistaken and a St Louis um it's like I think it's like for their football team I think don't quote me on that I don't know nothing I don't know anything about football but I put them on to read it's so cool to know to have ornaments from my friend in Louisiana so I love those so so much I wish Virginia had some ornaments I don't think we do but yeah she sent me I think she sent all the girls this one of the um lorx um Lorac it's a very good um makeup brand count eyeshadow palette um this is from the Royal eyeshadow collection and it just has very beautiful neutrals in it like it's got a nice champagne color and it's got a nice um bronzy color or that one's bronze this one's kind of a little more champagne then it's got a black for liner and I love it thank you so so much for S this to me because I do love makeup as much as I don't get time to apply it anymore I do still love it and I will always love makeup so I really love that thank you so much Kathy and then she also made me something she made me this beautiful collage and has a quote on it it says the stories we love best live in us forever and that's by JK Rowling um and she has like the always on here um and it's just it's very very beautiful she said she made it for me because she knows how much I love Harry Potter and I love it it's it's so cute it's it's right here on my bookshelf and whenever I look at it I'm reminded of Cassidy so this is so so very thoughtful I love him at gifts because I think they say or they're just much more than just regular gifts because you can hold this forever and you just always have fond memories I just I love artsy stuff too so thank you so so much Cassidy I love all the gifts Amy sent me a ton of things which she did not need to do but anyway she first sent me this book she just had an extra copy and I've been planning to read this series anyway it's Sapphire Blue by Kristen gear and this is the second book in the series but I do plan to read the series so I don't feel bad about having the second book and only the second book because I plan to buy the first one would be red soon so I love that I love when friends have extra your copies of books and you get sent it for free because it's just awesome adorable little notebook that has gold polka dots on it it says hello and you open it up and it's got a little pencil and I love that it's super cute and lastly she sent me this bookmark which is monster university cuz I said Monsters Inc was one of my favorite movies too and I love Monsters Inc and Monsters University I can't wait wa to show my son all these adorable Disney movies because they are just they're awesome and I love them so so thank you to all of my amazing book to friends that sent me such awesome gifts I don't I don't deserve any of them but thank you so much for being
