face or my hands will not blow up well the problem is not that deep anyway guys so let's look at the device which is quite overdue in the meanwhile let's go on ahead and see what all comes inside the box of the Note 7 for starters we get some uh documentation as you can see this is not an Indian variant uh we also get a sim removal tool you'll get a standard USB type-c to USB cable Inside the Box uh this is a pretty decent quality cable you can feel the thickness of the copper inside uh you'll also get a standard wall charger which is a fast charger uh you've got the collapsible pin over there for easy travel uh you'll also get a tool and a bunch of tips for the S Pen these are additional tips you also get a standard micro USB female to USB type-c mail adapter this will help you convert your micro USB cables into USB type-c charging cables also Inside the Box inside a really nice case are these new earphones uh you do get a set of additional tips these are pretty good quality earphones they're really loud and have good levels of base and mid volumes and uh you also get a standard volume control and end call Button along with a microphone and a standard 3.5m headphone jack that's everything from the box it's time to take a look at the device itself I'm going to get rid of this plastic you can see this really nice all black color it's really stealthy but it is quite reflective and it is very very fingerprint friendly which means that you'll see all your smudging all your fingerprints on the device on the front as well as the back you'll really need to keep a towel handy I'm going to start it up and while it starts up let's take a one over with the device so at the front top you'll see a bunch of sensors which includes the iris sensor a front-facing 5 megapix camera with a 1.7 aperture below that is the gorgeous curved 5.7 in Super AMOLED display which does have a 2560x1440 pixel resolution giving it a total of 515 pixels per inch that's not all the front has the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that was launched just a couple of weeks before uh the announcement of the note which is absolutely fantastic you also get the always on display below that is uh the standard home button which also houses the fingerprint sensor multitasking and back button in the standard Samsung format on the bottom of the device you'll see the 3.5m headphone jack along with the USB typ-c port the microphone which sits right next to the speaker and the Spen the S Pen's also got a bunch of new features and we'll talk about them in just a minute over at the right side side you will see the power button over at the top you'll see the SIM tray in this case since this device is a dual SIM device you can use a single Sim as well as dual Sims or you can use a single Sim and a Micro SD card you also get a noise cancellation microphone which is on the top over at the left you will see volume rockers and over at the back is where the 12 megap camera is you've got a f1.7 aperture on the back as well you also do get a heart sensor now as you can see you do get a Duos branding on the dual SIM variant everything inside this device is exactly the same as the phone that's going to launch in India except the fact that the phone that is launching in India will not have dual SIM capabilities in the global variant in this phone as well as the one that's going to launch in India is an exos 8890 octacore chipset you got 4 into 2.3 GHz CPUs along with 4 into 1.6 GHz CPUs also get the Mali t880 mp12 GPU you get 6 64 GB of storage 4 GB of RAM and you can pop in an SD card up to 256 GB the Spen functionality is more or less the same as you'd seen on the Note 5 you do get a bunch of additional options over here when you pull it out you can customize your Air Command menu and add quick launch uh applications according to what you're going to be using so you can modify your shortcuts uh you also get this really cool magnify feature uh which allows you to magnify on the screen for it's going to be handy for a lot of people who find it difficult to read certain things the standard screen right and smart select option exists uh still just like on the Note 5 you can pull out the S Pen when the screen is off and you can take a note on a black background Samsung likes to call it the screenoff note uh they fixed the Spen getting stuck in the phone problem because now you can't insert your SP pen inside out uh which is a good thing according to us uh the Spen also feels a lot more uh well balanced it feels good in the hand it's got really nice uh rounded edges and it's a lot more comfortable to hold it feels a lot more natural almost pen-like it's still quite thin from a standard uh uh pen size but it it feels really nice and it's a good size now you do get an edge screen on the Note 7 as well so you do have the edge functionality that was seen on the Samsung S7 Edge now the device does have a USB type c port at the bottom this is the first for Samsung it is a USB 3.1 uh type-c charger it will also support fast charging and wireless charging on this device but right now reports of the phone exploding while connected to the charger is showing up quite a lot so the companies issued a recall and they're trying to see what the exact problem is speaking of the exploding battery it is a 3,500 mamp battery so uh juice wise it's not as IRS scanner and then it's possibly the fastest way to unlock your device all you need to do is align your face with the screen and instantly it'll unlock it you can see how quickly the device was able it's pretty smooth extremely smooth to operate and jumping between applications is extremely quick what I am really liking is the way the phone feels inside the hand it the curved front as well as the curved back along with this matte finish sort of soft touch metal that sits on the side of the device it feels absolutely brilliant in the hand and it fits really well uh in the rounded and off your palm uh it feels extremely great uh when you're holding this device it feels super premium it feels super good thanks to uh the way the materials feel in your hand the phone is not extremely heavy it comes in at1 160 9 G and for the size of a 5.7 in display it's got a good screen to body ratio in fact you don't get any edges because the screen curves into the sides uh you do get a top lip and a bottom lip but in Samsung's case they're not being wasted they're actually being used by buttons and sensors and whatnot so it's a good mix of screen and Body on the front as well as a really nice glass back not a lot of differences in terms of the camera from the S7 Edge the camera is extremely quick to focus uh you do get a bunch of options including a pro mode that will let you set your uh Focus your wi balance your shutter speed your ISO all of those things you can customize and then click a picture it lets you uh do all of that uh you also get a bunch of selfie modes now uh so you can uh put your palm in front of the device and it'll click a picture for you or alternatively you can just tap your finger on the heart rate sensor and click a selfie for you so that just uh makes it slightly easier to click picture is on a large screen phone now picture quality at first or the first impressions seemed really good so I managed to click a picture of Iron Man over here and you can see that as you zoom in there's a lot of detail being offered uh the colors are really nice and accurate it manages to Wi balance automatically now this is in full auto and I get a really nice result from the camera overall it seems that Samsung has manage to make a really good phone it feels excellent in the hand it has a ton of performance hardware and it is ip68 it means that the device is as water resistant as the S7 and the S7 Edge which means that it can go dunking in water without you worrying about it so while you're using it in drain or if you manage to drop it in a tub or in your sink while washing your hands you won't have to worry about the device getting damage which is an absolutely fantastic thing now we'll be testing out the Note 7 and putting it against the rest of the devices in the market you can see in terms of size with some of the phones lying here it seems to be the largest in terms of size uh it is a slightly Hefty uh in terms of thickness as well the only Flagship device that offers a stylus or an Spen capability I'm also going to be checking out uh the gear icon X earphones I'm actually loving them uh they're uh really fantastic earphones I just did
