we're back better than ever I had so much talk to Chris about so and this week's project is going to be the patio we're doing a little makeover out there because it's the end of the summer now is the time to think about outdoor furniture grills stuff like that because everything goes on sale and everything that I'm showing you we got for 40% off so the rug the dining set everything was on crazy sale okay so this is our current situation we have in the backyard so our patio area so what we have going on this set we got from Home Depot a couple years ago it was at our old apartment we brought it here we really like it it's comfortable the issue we have is that we decided we want a dining table with chairs because we've been grilling almost every Sunday with friends and family so we want to set up where we can eat outside play board games all that stuff so that arrived today and we are going to build it tomorrow so stay tuned a new patio set is in progress we have the rug the new rug moment of truth okay I'm liking the rug we're liking the rug here is the set coming together work in progress the man of the hour Quentin putting it all together couldn't do any of this without him the Vassar ladies know how to do online research doesn't my mom look so pretty today I want to do the challenge called transforming my mom into me give you my signature look here it is the big reveal our new patio area I love how it turned out this is an 8 by 10 rug I want to say this from overstock I will link to everything I can down below but really love the rug and this set is from Amazon because of course it is but the reason we picked out this set is I wanted something that we can sit at eat at play games but it would still be comfortable so these are the nice cushy comfortable seats but you still get your table here so it's the best of both worlds in my opinion and then over here is Ryan's new grill which has since gone on sale like big-time at Home Depot so she definitely got a grill now if you've been thinking about getting one the other thing we did out here is we added a little screen a sunshade to above this gazebo to provide more sun protection during the day so we can sit out here and it's not quite as hot and these bestir lights we already had them but I love them because they add really nice ambiance and yeah that is what we have going on over here we put these chairs temporarily for now we have these two chairs but we're probably going to have a different little seating setup and we're going to be putting a fence up within the next month or two for safety precautions for the baby Ryan always has big plans for the house he does have you guys heard about my fountain yet think of the Bellagio in Vegas only bigger I have to show you guys he will try to talk on the phone I just wanted to see if you would talk to Carter I'm doing my lunch meal prep now it could not be any easier we had these pre-washed pre-cut fajita mix so no chopping involved so that's gonna put some mushrooms and also a whole lot of spinach so I just get that going in one big pot and we're gonna have some brown rice and this pre cooked pre shredded chicken so again no chopping is involved super easy this takes like half an hour to make your lunches for the entire week our veggies are done so Carter is eating his sweet potato puree that I made but the new development is that I got this little baby spoon that helps them learn how to feed themselves so it has these little ridges and you go like that you see some baby food gets inside of that you feed yourself yeah there he goes and so now he can learn how to feed himself do you think okay so we're here at Lowe's looking at tiles and look at this little guy's this is his cart protector so it protects him from germs and then there's the little clips for his toy and he's all stratas big boy in the cart it's what we're kind of thinking for a sink not this faucet but sink style this is what we're the key for the bathroom tiles so it's like a marble Dre alright so I want to show you a little sneak preview of what we're working on for the master bathroom a project we have been saving up literally for a year and a half to finally have this happen I'm so excited you have a new idea so here's the master bathroom how it currently looks there's nothing wrong with it at all it is fine but I wanted it to be my dream bathroom so the first thing we are thinking about doing but I'm not sure is the floor I don't actually mind this gray tile I just don't love the border so option one is to keep the light gray floors and just try to match up the tiler on the edge that's the easier option kind of what I'm leaning towards right now the other option is to do a dark slate floor which I think could look cool because it would contrast really nicely with everything else probably going to keep these cabinets the way they are Ryan wants to paint them white but I kind of like them how they are so I might just keep that countertop will be white quartz with pretty fixtures mirrors not sure yet probably keep those new light fixture over here is where things get interesting okay so what we could do what I'm leaning towards is just keeping the tub and the shower that we have and redoing the tiles what Ryan wants to do is get a standalone tub here and a new shower but that costs a lot more and I tend to be more on the budget side and Ryan's like crazy so the tile that we're thinking of is between these options we have the smaller marble the medium-sized marble or the large marble could like see it boy all right so for dinner tonight we were making some stuffed peppers this is always an easy and tasty thing to make I make it all the time so I'm gonna pop these in the toaster oven for like 10 minutes at 400 the cool thing about stuffed peppers is you could stuff them with whatever you have so I have this leftover rice beans squashes in here just for added protein I'm gonna put some little strips of our leftover barbecue chicken I know this might seem weird and like it doesn't go together but it tastes good good night and it is let me see you Eric I said that's really it
