Lenovo Vibe P1 and Lenovo Vibe S1 Hands-On

I'm Michael Josh, and you're watching Gadget Match. We're still here at EA 2015 in Berlin, Germany, where I don't even know what day it is, but today I'm excited to be inside the Lenovo Booth, taking a look at two new smartphones they unveiled at the show this year, including this one, the Lenovo P1 with a 5,000mAh bar battery and the awesome dual selfie camera, Lenovo S1. Let's take a closer look.

I'm not sure if P stands for power because that's exactly what the phone is about. The Lenovo P1 comes with an incredible 5,000mAh battery, which can be used to power another phone using the right cable. This means you have the freedom to use your new phone as a power bank whenever and wherever you need it. But that's not all - this massive battery also comes with a dedicated switch for turning on power saving mode, giving you more control over how you manage your device's energy consumption.

As I take a closer look at the P1, I'm struck by its sleek design, which almost reminds me of an older version of the HTC One. The phone has Sleek lines and a unibody aluminum construction that makes it both visually appealing and durable. The Lenovo P1 also features a 5.5-inch full HD display, providing an immersive viewing experience for you to enjoy your favorite movies, TV shows, or games on the go.

Another feature that's sure to grab your attention is the fingerprint scanner, which works seamlessly as expected. This advanced biometric technology adds an extra layer of security to your device, ensuring that only authorized users can access their personal data and apps. Speaking of which, let's take a look at the Lenovo S1, another phone Lenovo has unveiled at this year's show.

The S1 is smaller and prettier than the P1, with glass backs available in two colors: white and blue. I have to say, the blue one looks absolutely gorgeous - it's no wonder Lenovo wanted to showcase this particular color option. However, there were a few minor drawbacks that I did notice during my brief interaction with the S1. For instance, there weren't any massive cables on hand to demonstrate how versatile the device is.

But despite these minor caveats, the Lenovo S1 has some fantastic features that set it apart from other smartphones in its class. One of its main selling points is its dual selfie camera - yes, you heard me right! The S1 boasts a dual front-facing camera setup consisting of an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor. This allows you to take selfies with depth and then make adjustments after taking the photo.

One of the most exciting things about the S1's selfie camera is that it lets you crop yourself out of the photo and place yourself onto another background - just like in a movie! With this feature, you can easily get creative with your self-portraits. The S1 also comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, providing ample power for multitasking or running demanding apps.

That was all I could manage to cover about the Lenovo S1 and P1 in my initial look at these two new smartphones unveiled at EA 2015 here in Berlin Germany.
