Office Tour | 2011

My Gaming Collection and Home Office Tour

As I move around my home office, you can see that it's filled with various gadgets and gaming consoles. I'm particularly proud of my collection of Game Boys - I have a lot of them! It's not uncommon for me to break out one of these classic handheld systems when I need to relax or play some old-school games. My desk is also cluttered with a Playation 2, Gamecube, and Super Nintendo console. The latter is located in the back, while the PlayStation 2 and Gamecube are nearby.

My collection extends beyond gaming consoles, as you can see from the various devices on my shelves. I have a Palm Pixie PDA, an iPod Touch (second generation), which is one of the coolest things I own, and a Motorola Cue that's... well, let's just say it's not working as intended. Despite its broken state, it's still pretty awesome to look at! I also have a stash of batteries - you can never have too many of those, right? Moving down my shelves, I find an Atari console, which is essentially a clone system. My Cr-48, on the other hand, was a bit of an adventure - its hinge started getting loose, and I had to put it away before it broke completely.

In addition to gaming consoles and devices, my office also features various other items that are important to me. I have two PlayStation 3 consoles because one of them was gifted to me for free. While I'm not a huge fan of free stuff, I do appreciate the gesture! On my shelves, you'll find an Xbox 360 - yes, it broke once and caused quite the headache, but that's another story altogether. Despite its broken state, it's still sitting proudly on my shelf.

My audio setup is also worth mentioning. I have an Audio Technica headset, which isn't currently being used by me, but I don't know what happened to it - maybe someone took it? I do have a base for the Wii console, and of course, every geek has one of these massive piles of cables. It's hard to explain why they're so important or what they're used for, but I think they add character to my office.

The rest of my home office is dedicated to video production equipment. My tripod stands proudly in the corner, while the lighting - which I use proper grammar on, much to the amusement of those around me - consists of two large lights and an umbrella light that adds a bit more depth to my recordings. Sometimes I record videos from this angle (pointing the camera at the chair), but that's not always the most flattering setup.

As we move toward the end of my office tour, you'll see a rather... ancient TV with a VHS player attached to it. Yes, I know what you're thinking - who uses a VHS player? Well, let me tell you, sometimes there's just something special about watching older consoles or playing classic games on an old TV. And when it comes to the Atari console, which is essentially a clone system, I do enjoy using this device. The rest of my office is cluttered with various knick-knacks and trinkets - cell phones, broken laptops, books... you name it.

As any geek will tell you, an office like mine is always in progress. There's always something that needs to be added, updated, or rearranged. While I'm proud of what I've accomplished so far, I do have my eye on a few upgrades - maybe some nicer furniture, more storage solutions... who knows? But for now, this home office tour has come to an end. If you have any questions about the items in my collection or want to know more about certain devices, feel free to leave them in the comments below. I'll do my best to respond and share my expertise with you all.

really nice it's got ips technology so like i can well if it was on i'd show you guys it's got great viewing angles all that kind of stuff up here you guys will find the webcam i use for d3 live this is a logitech c310 for some reason the camera doesn't want to focus but that's cool but yeah is a logitech c310 uh it's a pretty good webcam and of course i've reviewed that um i basically reviewed everything i own so will reviewed for food all right so got my logitech mouse and keyboard these are very very cheap um i think i got both of them for twenty dollars uh eventually i plan on getting nicer stuff but to be honest for like 20 bucks i mean the keyboard is fine the mouse is fine i've really got no problems um over here we do have my blue yeti microphone uh what can i say it's a great microphone um i use it sometimes for videos most of the time i use it when i'm actually uh like filming a video in front of my computer um obviously it works out pretty well there um over here i've got my headphones now i've got a kind of funny story i won't tell the whole thing but uh yeah these are some basically really cheap headphones i think i picked these up for like 20 bucks like two or three years ago and i bought these i liked them then i upgraded to some nice headphones and the past couple years i have upgraded several times to very nice headphones but without fail they break or they they start sounding bad or something goes wrong with them and i always come back to these sonys so for 20 bucks let's see what these are the mdr v150s i gotta say these are probably i probably use these headphones more than anything else and i know they don't sound amazing but for 20 bucks they're great and uh yeah when newer and better stuff breaks i go back to these um over here go ahead and pull this a little closer to you guys here uh this is my camera it's in full attack mode here uh we do have this is a nikon d3100 um yeah i've done videos like i said i've done pretty much videos on all of this individual stuff so you guys can feel free to check my channel later but uh yeah d3100 i do have a nikon 50mm 1.8 g lens and i do have the lens hood right here and up top for my audio h1 and i'm pretty impressed now i've got this is basically my full setup here so um it's more mobile before i was trying to use the nikon with the blue yeti and you know just kind of sync the audio in post and yeah that works okay but when i actually need to not record right here on the desk the zoom h1 is fantastic um that's gonna be about it i've just got surge protector and lots of messy cabling and all that kind of good stuff and i got my drawer which i have all kinds of junk in so i don't think you guys care about that over here we have the ban hammer cube this is what i sit on during d3 live and when i ban someone from the chat i make a lot of fun and just say band so that's that's awesome uh coming around to the back side here we have this is just i'm sure you guys all have one of is just my camera bags where you know i keep all my stuff for my camera obviously i usually actually i keep the camera out most of the time because i'm always filming but yeah um so there's not a whole lot in here except some orange you got a lens some chargers batteries all that kind of boring stuff that you guys probably don't care about at all so it's set in here without dropping it and breaking everything um over here i've got a can compressed air which i was using to clean my computer uh here's an xbox 360. that's like a madcatz um i actually i used to have an xbox and it broke but uh i use this actually a lot for when i want to play a game on my computer this will just plug in via usb and for example test drive unlimited too i've been playing that lately just use it with that here is my ancient sony alarm clock which i think this thing's about as old as i am and yet it's been on for like forever and uh yeah i use it and it's awesome uh here is the closet for the office um batteries uh down here i've got us the atari's clone system um if i can pull this out this is my cr-48 which unfortunately the hinge is like starting to break so i put it out because i like when i have something nice i don't want it to break so as soon as it's the hinge started getting a little loose i'm like put that up right now before it breaks totally so i've got that um here's my xbox 360. i've told this story many times but it broke and i paid a lot of money for it and traded stuff in and that was a nightmare but yeah broken playstation i mean xbox to keep around one of these days i'll
