Best Gaming PCs You Can Build Right Now! 👌 [September & October 2024]

**Building a PC: A Budget-Friendly Option**

The good news is that we've still got 50 dollars to play with, and I'm going to remove the motherboard and the case from our list. This will give us some leeway to find a card that fits a bit better. The motherboard is a crucial component of any build, and removing it will allow us to upgrade it later on.

We're still looking for 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, which should have similar latency rules as the current setup. I'm going to change this down to be X (Extreme) don't want to go with 40X or 34X as those options are too expensive. We'll stick with 32X and see what we're left with.

For our memory, I like Corsair Vengeance and G-Skill Trident, but the Vengeance RGB is going to add a bit more wow factor to our build. We'll also try to go for a B650 motherboard with Wi-Fi capability this time around. Let's search by bestselling options and see what we can find. The MSI Gaming Plus is looking good at $149, while the Azrock is available for $169.

I'm going to use the Aiboard again and keep it nice and simple. This is all personal preference, but Fantex XT Pro Ultra Strikes Out to me straight away as another great case that we've used Fantex have been killing it recently. For $70, it's about as good as you're going to get for a case of this caliber.

Now that we've got our parts, let's take a look at the total cost. With the promo codes combo savings and mailing rebates, we can see that we've left ourselves with a really solid set of parts that make this build pretty fantastic.

**Stepping Up the Build to $1,500**

If I wanted to step this system up to $1,500, there are a few things I'd change. The CPU would have to go - we're going to jump up to the Ryzen 5 7600X, which is a game build that still doesn't require any powerful Ryzen 7s at this price point. At $229, it's perfect for our needs.

I also want some in-half decent V-RUSS V5 would be my go-to budget shout depending on if we're trying to maximize aesthetics and cooling or leave as much money left over for the GPU. Let's see where that lands us.

The motherboard is still an area where I'd like to make an improvement - let me go ahead and take this out and go for an ATX B650 with Wi-Fi capability. The Gigabytes B650 E X is superb, really love this board so that will work great.

Now that we've got our new parts, let's take a look at the total cost. We've left ourselves with around $740 for the GPU, and I think there can only be one option at this price point - the 7900 XT. This provides comparable performance to the 4070 TI and TI Super with more video memory and a lower price point.

Let's move over back to our case and check out GPU clearance. Does it say 355 with a front fan, and that was 330? We're all good. These are the builds I'd assemble right now for $1,200, found 12 options for each price point, let me know in the comments below.

**Recommendations**

If you're looking to build a PC on a budget, these options should provide a great starting point. Remember to do your research and find the best deals for your needs. Also, don't forget to check out the latest prices for all components across different regions and retailers.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enif you're looking to build a gaming PC right now it can be really tricky to know what parts to pick or even how much money you need to spend which is why today I'll be running through the best gaming PCs you can build right now for a range of budgets not only should this show you guys what kind of parts I think work well together in the current climate and what's a good deal but also what you can achieve by spending that little bit more money to help you figure out exactly how much to spend on your next build let's do this the Corsair series is here corsair's latest lineup of 240 mil 280 mil and 360 mil of coolers feature corsair's new flow Drive cooling engine with a three-phase pump for higher flow rates higher efficiency and better cooling cap swap compatibility allows you to change the top plate of your cooler while IQ link support and magnetic Dome RX fans round off a design that's ready to keep your CPU cool under pressure check out the range at the first link below now I'm going to be using New Egg for the purposes of getting latest pricing and availability now this video hasn't been sponsored by New Egg but I like to use it as a resource because it gives us all the filters that we need to adequately pick the right parts now I will be using us price points for this video but my UK and international viewers can find global links for everything mentioned down in the description below now let's start off with an $800 build and there's a couple of ways we can do this either we can use current gem Parts like amd's ryzen 7 or 9000 and have not a lot left for the GPU or we can make sacrifices by looking at the ryzen 5000 series and going for a last gen option now for those of you wondering why I've not gone for an Intel 12 gen config I prefer last gen ryzen over Intel and in the current climate I think probably a lot of you guys do too now the ryzen 5 5600 or 5600x are both solid choices they both have six scores 12 threads with slightly different clock speeds couple 100 more mehz on the X I'm going to go for the non-x chip as I definitely want the inclusion of a stock cooler to help keep a lid on temperatures without spending a lot of money now the reason that I'm starting with the CPU is because I want to whittle down as many parts as possible and see what's left for the graphics card at the end that I think will help me maximize GPU budget now I'm also going to go ahead and pick up 32 GB of ddr4 memory and sort by bestselling to see what it is you guys are buying now as you can see from this t4s vulin kit that comes in at just $51 there really isn't that much money to be saved by going for a 16 gig config and for me the extra 16 gigs of memory is far better value with the memory and the CPU in I'm also going to look for a good b550 motherboard I think we're going to want to go for again an option around that $100 price point to maximize value for money something exactly like azrox b550 M Pro 4 now it doesn't have Wi-Fi it does have the built-in cutout so you can add the module later but for me this is going to be fine still has highs speeed USB type A and type c and the board itself is pretty decent looking if nothing special add back to the cart once again I'm also going to look for a 500 GB mvme drive this is going to allow me to recommend a drive for you guys with enough storage but again one that doesn't break the bank now these are gen 3 drives so they're much slower but this crucial P3 plus is a Gen 4 and one of our favorites this 500 gig Drive comes in at 41 be careful get the plus don't get the non plusus as this is significantly slower well the 1 tbte is about 70 so again if you want to break the budget that might be something you should consider also going to look for a 650 W PSU from my memory the kind of card that this build is going to be featuring is going to want around about this wattage and this is a good rule of thumb for the future too couple of options thermal take smart Springs out to me immediately as one we've used on the channel been very happy with and the 80 plus bronze certification is solid but more helpfully it actually has the 12vt PCI power connector for those new gpus yes you might not need it but is certainly good to have go ahead and add that to the car atx3 for $59 who said flashy power supplies had to be expensive all that them remains other than the GPU is a case and I again want to look at some of the best selling options but I don't want to spend more than about $65 let's put it at 70 to take into account any mail and rebate should you choose to claim them and you can see again a few options DIY PC pretty popular lots of reviews on these but the fractal pop a mini is one I've used before and can more comfortably recommend three included 120 mil argb fans nice design good build quality and you can't go too far wrong when it comes to fractal PC cases now looking at the basket that leaves us with about $375 is for the graphic card so let's see what we can get now on the Nvidia side I'm guessing the 46 DTI is doable I don't love this GPU by any means but it's worth mentioning it as a factor for this build if you want good rate tracing you can get it for 379 with the promo code however I think you guys are going to be more interested by the 7700 XT and if we're talking about pure gaming performance this to me is the better bet open box for 369 but we're using new parts that's one of the rules of this video and for 389 this power koler fighter card looks like it'll fit now let's just have a look at the size it's 303 mm from memory the pop a mini supports about 360 without the fan so with the fan it's still going to fit without too many issues now looking at the basket that brings us to 818 so forgive me I've got over budget the only way to go in budget was to put a 4060 TI in and uh I don't think anybody wants that so taking a look at the parts this you can see Pop Min air as rock of theboard b550 with a 7700 XT thermal take smart bm3 ryzen 5 5600 it is back recorded but I'm sure it will come back shortly with a P3 plus and 32 gigs of memory now if you want to step up from an $800 is budget to a ,000 what would I do now the case is solid but I would move away from lash gen I would get rid of the motherboard get rid of the Lash gen CPU and ditch the ddr4 memory and switch this out straight away for a ryzen 57600 technically ryzen 9000 is here but they haven't replaced the onx chip yet anyway and when they do it will be too expensive by this instead that's going to get us ddr5 memory and the the much newer am5 motherboards also going to look at that motherboard now get that ticked off b650 is where you want to go and this azck Pro RS is actually one of the best reviewed options at a budget price point you can see here it's one of the cheapest if not the cheapest of this azro range and it's nice got all the kind of power delivery that we need for high-end ryzen CPUs 2 and while it doesn't have Wi-Fi again you've got the option to add the module with the cutouts that you need I think the Wi-Fi version is about $15 more expensive out the box which is pretty good for me 32 GB of ddr5 is going to be the next step bringing us into that new generation with more bandwidth and better speed I want 16 GB per module and I want to narrow down the cast latency again this is why I've used New Egg for this video their controls in terms of narrowing down to specific component oriented specification filters are really really good now again I'm going to search here not by best selling but by lowest price Patriot have got a kit for 84 King bank for 89 we've just had one of these kits in so I'll wait until we've tested it to recommend it for now I'm going to go t4s vcam again we've used this reviewed it check out all of our Ram articles on our website in the cards now for more info add back to the car and where does that put us $961 now to be clear I've just taken a build and replaced some parts and probably not really improve performance that much I want to be transparent with you guys about what I've done but the advantage then is that everything's a newer generation change the whole build out and your RAM is going to be fine want to upgrade to a new CPU and you've got all the infr structure there that you need to do so the only thing that I am going to do is I'm going to upgrade the SSD up to the 1 TB version for me 500 GB is a basic option that you use only when you've not got the budget for a 1 tbte drive so I'm going to add that in and see where that puts us on the budget again not much has changed 988 so well in budget even without the combos unlike my $800 build which was admittedly a little bit over now to take this from a $1,000 to a $1,200 build and this is where things get easier I know we can take out the GPU and I know probably the power supply is going to need a bit of an upgrade I'm going to go ahead and look for a 750 W unit again the bm3 might be the one to buy let's have a look by bestselling and see what new EG is recommending RM 75099 a bit expensive 95 after the rebate for msis 84 for that MSI unit not too bad where's our thermal tap unit gone let's filter by thermal take and hit apply I have a feeling they may save us a bit of money here aha 6 $69 come on thermal tape get in there really good power supply again we've used this on the channel had no problems with it ran fairly high power consumption builds off units like the 750 W design and had no problems now that leaves us with $68 spent and about 590 left to go so let's have a look what we can fit my good reaction is GRE the only other Nvidia option would I guess be 460 TI 16 gig or 470 non super looking at lowest price probably don't want to go for the cheap however that Challenger cards not bad power coolor 549 Asus duel 569 you are spoiled for Choice here I'm going to go Challenger as we've used this on the channel and had good experiences but you can see you've got a bit of leeway to find a card that fits a bit better now the good news is we've still got 50 or so dollars to play with so I'm going to remove the motherboard and the case and choose to upgrade here you know what actually too I'm also going to pop some RGB raming for good measure 32 GB of ddr5 is again going to be what I'm after similar latency rules so again I'm going to change this down to be SE don't want 40 SE 34 32 and 36 and see what we're left with Corsair Vengeance I like G skill Trident I like but it's too expensive so the Vengeance RGB is going to add a bit more wow factor to the build also going to try and go for a b650 motherboard with Wi-Fi this time let me again search by bestselling 169 for this MSI gaming plus 149 for the azrock you know what let's do the ack board again and keep it nice and simple the only thing then left is a PC case and I'm again going to look at what new is recommending now this is all personal preference but fantex XT Pro Ultra Strikes Out to me straight away as another great case that we've used fantex have been killing it recently so for me $70 is about as good as you're going to get for a case of this caliber now that brings the budget up to 1158 with the promo codes combo savings and mailing rebates and you can see that leaves a really really solid set of parts that an area we're going to make an improvement in case we might want something with a little bit more W Factor let me start with the case first of all and look for something that is a bit more special but I don't want to spend much more than about $100 now this has given us a few different options the H5 flow is a case I really like but it doesn't come with any fans same with the montech 95 nonpr fractal North is quite nice this is all depending on what you're looking for I like the mv5 from fantex 2 again though doesn't come with any fans so it's a hard one to choose really I might go a little bit different I might go for the fractal North at 109 and then include some additional fans later on this isn't an overly RGB case so it's not like we need to go too far down that rabbit hole either now I also want to upgrade the CPU to a ryzen 5 7600 X this is a game build still so no need for any powerful ryzen 7s and at 229 that's going to be perfect CPU caller I also want some in half decent vrus V5 would be my go-to budget shout depending on if we're trying to maximize the Aesthetics and cool in or leave as much money left for the GPU and let's see where that lands us so 750 as it stands the motherboard to me looks like the only area that could really do with some improvement so let me go ahead and take this out go for an ATX b650 with Wi-Fi capability go to the the best that leaves me with around about $740 for the GPU and to me there can be really only one option at this $1,500 price point and that has to be the 7900 XT now this provides comparable performance to the 4070 TI and TI super with more video memory and a lower price point and look how good this ack Phantom gaming card looks the only thing we'll need to check is that the clearance in the case is sufficient let's see how many millimeters this is on the spec section 330 add it to the car and triple check that before going ahead and checking out so let's move over back to our case let's have a look at GPU clearance does it say 355 with a front fan and that was 330 so we're all good those are the builds I'd assemble right now for eight a found 12 $1,500 what do you guys think of these builds let me know in the comments below and you can check out latest pric and for everything for all different regions and retailers in the description too get subscribed to see more from me thanks for watching as always we'll see you in the next oneif you're looking to build a gaming PC right now it can be really tricky to know what parts to pick or even how much money you need to spend which is
