AMIR Color Changing Light Strip for Your TV or Monitor

The Use of Light Strips for Ambiance: A Review of the Product

I recently had the opportunity to work with two packs of light strips that I will be using today on a 49-inch TV. The product is specifically designed for use on the back of devices, and it has proven to be a great addition to my setup. The light strip comes in different lengths, ranging from three feet, which was perfect for filling the back of my TV.

Inside the package, I found instructions, a remote control that allows me to change the colors, and the light strip itself, which is approximately three feet long. Alongside the light strip, there's a remote receiver and a USB port that can be plugged directly into the back of your TV. When the TV is on, the lights will power up, and when it's turned off, they will shut down. I found this feature to be particularly useful in controlling the lighting.

One of the most notable features of the product is its ease of use. The remote control comes with multiple color options, including white, flash, strobe, fade, smooth, and a combination of colors. This allows me to easily adjust the lighting to suit my needs. I also appreciate that the lights are not overly bright, adding a subtle ambiance to the space.

I chose to add the light strips to the top and sides of my TV setup, leaving the bottom area untouched. The adhesive backing on the light strip made it easy to install, although I did need to use some extra adhesive to keep them in place. I found that the lights started to peel off after prolonged use, but this is a minor issue.

Overall, I'm very happy with the product and its performance. The price of $10 for one set of lights is extremely competitive, making it an excellent value for anyone looking to add ambiance to their device setup. If you have any further questions or would like more information on how to use these products, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Installing the Light Strips

To begin installing the light strips, I first pulled the TV down and prepared the area where I wanted to apply them. The instructions provided with the product were clear and easy to follow. I peeled off the paper backing from the adhesive strip and applied it to the back of my TV. This was a relatively straightforward process, although I did need to make sure that I had access to the remote sensor areas.

Once I had applied the light strips, I plugged in the remote receiver and connected it to the USB port on my TV. When I turned on my TV, the lights flickered to life, and when I turned it off, they shut down. I was pleased to find that I could control both sets of lights using one remote.

I did need to adjust the adhesive to ensure that it stayed in place, but overall, the installation process went smoothly. The only potential issue I encountered was finding a way to attach the light strips together without damaging them. Fortunately, this was not a major problem, and I was able to find a solution by using some duct tape.

The Effectiveness of the Light Strips

I was pleased with how effective the light strips were in adding ambiance to my TV setup. The subtle lighting they provided created a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhanced the overall viewing experience. When I dimmed the lights, the room took on a cozy feel, making it an ideal spot for relaxation or socializing.

One of the benefits of using these light strips is their versatility. They can be used to create different effects, such as flashing or fading, which adds to their appeal. The remote control also allows me to easily adjust the brightness and color of the lights, giving me more flexibility in my setup.

The Quality of the Product

Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of these light strips. They are well-made, durable, and easy to use. Although they did start to peel off after prolonged use, this is a minor issue that can be addressed by using extra adhesive. The price point of $10 for one set of lights is also an excellent value.

If you're looking to add ambiance to your device setup, I would highly recommend considering these light strips. They are easy to install, versatile, and provide a range of benefits that enhance the overall viewing experience. Be sure to check them out on Amazon, where they can be purchased for a competitive price.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enin today's video we're gonna add lighting behind the TV in the studio let's get started everybody welcome to tech with Brett where I help tech work for you and in today's video we're going to finish updating my little studio here in the backdrop you see that I've added a few shelves some lights as well as a TV back there but I want to add a few more lights so today we're going to be reviewing a set of light strips that I'm going to be using on the back so these again are from Ameer I've done a few different light videos for them in the past but these ones are specific for the back of a device so here I'm going to be using two of these packs today to be able to set up the TV they will work on up to 42 inch TVs where here I have a 49 inch TV so I needed the two packs to be able to fill the back of the TV so here inside the package you have little instructions you have the remote that allows you to change the different colors and then here you have the strip which is about three feet long on here you have the remote receiver and then you have the USB so you can just plug this directly into the back of your TV and whenever your TV is on it will actually power the lights and then when you turn it off the lights will turn off so here you can see that the strip is about three feet long and then so there's a strip and on the back there is some 3m adhesive that you can peel off and you can place that on the back of your TV right here you can see that it did detach and you can just place that back on so you could change that out for a longer strip I guess if you wanted to do that so there you go so let's pull the TV down get this set up and then check out how it works so on the back of my TV I do have two different USB ports so I can have two power strips plug in and these will only turn on when the TV is on when the TV's off they'll then turn off and there's no smart app or anything it's just strictly turning on and off and then control with the remote alright so I really liked how that looked at the top here so I'm probably going to add it the top and the sides and then I may just leave the bottom out now if you do want to cut these you could cut them here where it has the different connectors there but I really don't know how to attach them together again but if you wanted to shorten it or make just a specific length you are able to do that so here we're going to peel this off so you got to make sure you just take the paper piece off so that you can place the adhesive on and that was pretty easy to install now you do want to make sure that you can easily get to the little infrared sensors there so you can turn it on and off but you can use the same remote so I have two remotes but I could just use one remote and control both of them so that adhered pretty well it may not be as sticky as I'd like it to be some of the parts up here so I may just have to put a little duct tape or some double-sided tape on the back and those will be ready to rock and roll so let's get this plug back in and see how it looks okay so I've added the strips on the back I'm gonna leave the little remote sensors so that I can easily control it but let's dim the lights and check out how it looks back there all right so I can control both of the lights with one remote so now when I push one color it's going to change both of them at the same time let's turn it up all the way so there you can see it's up all the way and then I can turn it down get a pretty dim so let's check out the remote real quick we have the brightness up down off on all the different colors then here you have the white flash strobe fade and smooth and then here you have a white and then you have a flash option so will flash through the different colors you can do strobe where it will slowly go through the colors and then you hear you have a fade option and last you have these smooth so there's going to quickly go through the colors again so I'm pretty happy with the way that the lights turned out now when I have these front lights on you will see that it's not super bright back there but I really think it adds a nice little ambience which will be very helpful I do need to play with the colors a bit more to see what I like best but if you have any recommendations for me please leave a comment below now also I do need to say that the lights I have used them for a little while and they did start to peel off so you may need to use some extra adhesive to keep them on but they are about $10 on Amazon for one set of lights which is a really great price there so make sure you guys check those out in the link below and if you have any further questions please let me know and if this is your first time here I'd love to have you
