Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest Unboxing (Borderlands 2 Loot Chest Limited Edition Unboxing)

The Loot Chest Limited Edition: A Rare Treasure for Borderlands 2 Fans

What's up guys, it's Lou from Unbox Therapy, and today we're taking a look at the ultimate loot chest limited edition of Borderlands 2. This particular edition is incredibly hard to come by, with pre-orders running out back in June and only about 50,000 units available. If you weren't lucky enough to get your hands on this edition, there's a very similar Deluxe Vault Hunter Edition that offers many of the same items.

The first item we'll take a closer look at is the official art book behind the game. This is one of my favorite items in any Collector's Edition or limited edition, and I'm excited to see what's inside. The art book features some of the artwork and imagination that went into developing the game, giving fans a unique glimpse into the world of Borderlands 2.

Next up, we have another piece of artwork that's a bit unconventional - it's not your typical poster shape, but rather long and thin. This item is accompanied by four stickers, including some with messages like "Minion on Board." There's also a 2K game sticker and a Gearbox Software sticker, which you're free to use as you please.

We also have the field guide of Sir Hammerlock, which features intentionally aged-looking pages that make it look like it came from a long time ago. The guide has blank pages for you to keep your own notes, making it feel like a journal. The next item is a map, but not just any map - this one is made out of fabric and features the northwest coast of Pandora, including the Dead Sands Highlands and Frozen Wastes.

Of course, no Collector's Edition would be complete without a certificate of authenticity. This document lets you know that you have the Loot Chest Limited Edition of Borderlands 2 in your possession. We also have some postcard-style art pieces that look like posters from within the game world. These items have an aged appearance and come on thick cardstock, making them feel like real collectibles.

Now it's time to open up the actual loot chest itself - and what a sight it is! The chest has a weathered appearance and features an artificial clasping system on the front. Inside, we find our official Marcus bobblehead, which is almost like a miniature coffin for the statue. I'm impressed by how heavy-duty the plastic used to make this bobblehead is - it's clearly made for durability.

The packaging on this bobblehead makes it seem like it might be sold at retail in the future, which adds to its allure. And if you're interested in getting your hands on a bobblehead but can't get the Loot Chest Edition, there's still the Deluxe Vault Hunter Edition available - so you have options!

Finally, we come to the game disc itself, housed in a beautiful steelbook case with a unique color scheme and texture. The disc is accompanied by DLC and a tiny user manual on the opposite side of the box. This unboxing is pretty much identical for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or PC versions - but the disc and logos will be different, and some of the inclusions might vary.

If you enjoyed this unboxing of Borderlands 2's Loot Chest Limited Edition, please remember to leave a like and favorite below. It really does help out a lot, and I appreciate your support. And if you're interested in any of these special editions or just the regular Borderlands 2 game, be sure to check out the links I've included in the description for more information. Thanks as always for watching, and I'll catch you on the next episode!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys it's Lou from unbox therapy and today we're taking a look at Borderlands 2 the ultimate loot chest limited edition now if you guys have been following any developments on this particular Edition then you know it is incredibly hard to come by I've been told that pre-orders ran out back in June and that there's only about 50,000 units of this particular edition if you weren't lucky enough to get your hands on this Edition there's a very similar Edition called the deluxe Vault Hunter which has a lot of the items you're going to see here if you want to check out any of the editions pricing availability Etc I'm dropping links right down below this video in the description so check them all out see what's still available and what you can afford so anyways let's talk about the unboxing the first item here is the official art book behind the game you know you're going to get to see some of the artwork some of the imagination that leads up and builds up to the eventual game development I really do like the art books they're pretty much my favorite items in any of these Collector's Editions limited editions Etc the next item is the game actually we're going to get to that at the end so we'll put it down to the side and talk about some of the other items included here the next item is another piece of artwork this is kind of like a poster but in a kind of strange form factor to be honest with you it's really long and thin uh the next thing we've got is a package of stickers I believe there are four stickers included in here some of them with messages like minion on board and as we move through you'll see there's also a 2K game Sticker and then the last thing you've got is a Gearbox Software sticker so you're free to do with those as you please next is the field guide of sir hammerlock and as you can see it's got those intentionally aged looking pages to make it look like it came from a while ago it's also got a number of blank pages in there so you can keep your own notes and use it sort of like a journal if you choose to the next item is this map but it isn't your usual map in the sense that it's not made out of paper like a poster instead it's made out of fabric so it's a little bit higher quality you have the northwest coast section of Pandora with the dead Sands Highlands and Frozen wastes oh also the ashes outlined here on this nice piece of fabric next there is a certificate of authenticity to let yourself and everyone else know that you have the loot chest limited edition of this game the authentic edition of this game uh next we have these postcard style art pieces that look like posters that would occur within the game world um once again they have that kind of aged appearance pretty cool looking in my opinion and the card stock is nice and thick I don't know what you want to do with those you might frame them up you might put them on the wall it's completely up to you so next we have the actual loot chest in a separate box within the box so let's go ahead and take a look at that it's also going to be the place where the bobble head is housed so let's go ahead jump inside and take a closer look at it it has once again the Aged looking weathered appearance on it you can see there is an artificial clasping system on the front I'll give you a closer look at the top and then the back very quickly and then we'll jump inside this is where you'll find your official Marcus bobblehead and uh it's encased almost like a coffin to be honest with you now the packaging on this bobblehead makes it seem like this particular unit may be sold at retail at some point and something else to mention like I said earlier in the video is the bobble head particularly is also included in the deluxe Vault Hunter Edition so you can still pick that up if you can't get your hands on the loot chest Edition so let's go ahead and take a closer look at the bobble head here and the first thing I notice actually when I pick it up is it's pretty heavy especially for a statue of this size it's definitely if it's made out of plastic it's some really heavyduty plastic that's for sure and it does what any bobble head would do which is Bobble its head and uh I'll give you guys a closer look at the overall appearance here the paint workor Etc and uh then I'll do a little bit more bobbling towards the end so as I said before the bobblehead is available in two different versions if you absolutely need to have it and you can't get your hands on this version here so let's go ahead and do some bobbling there you go Bobble away my friend all these things are a hell of a lot of fun way more fun than I expected so anyways next we have the game disc this is obviously an important item in this unboxing the game is what it's all about after all and it's housed in this really nice steelbook case one of the nicest ones I've seen I do like the color scheme they've got on here some elements are metallic other ones are red orange and there's even a texture to it once inside the box it's pretty much what you expect you got the game disc on the right followed by your DLC and little tiny user manual on the Le hand side uh this unboxing is pretty much going to be the same if you've got the Xbox 360 Playstation 3 or PC version of course the disc will be different and some of the logos will be different but otherwise the inclusions will be the same anyway guys if you enjoyed this unboxing of Borderlands 2 the loot chest limited edition then please remember to leave a like and favorite down below as it does help out a bunch and as I said earlier and a couple times throughout the video if you're interested in any of these special editions or even just the regular Borderlands 2 game I'm dropping links down in the description go check out those links anyway guys thanks as always for watching and I'll catch you on the next episode later\n"
