**Unboxing the PowerColor Red Devil 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 Video Card**

It was really nice of him to let me do the unboxing, as this is his card, you know what I mean - like he's letting me open it. Thank you, dude! So, here also you have what they call a BIOS and silent or overclocking silent button. So basically, it's like a no fan or silent fan mode, and in an overclock mode, of course, we would run it in overclock mode. Why would you ever have your card running silent and limiting your frames per second when every frame counts? When you're a real gamer, I mean, we're all real gamers right? We say we're not competitive, and then we rage quit.

Guys, I'm absolutely in love with this card now - like any card here. You're also going to notice that the fans are all the same size, but on this one, they're bigger, smaller, bigger. So, I'm guessing there are two in one out, and this is actually a different size fan than the other two, which is quite unique. I never seen that so far.

One thing I feel a little sad about is that it should have had a PCl or PC cover just because I just feel that card at these price tags - just that's something you should justify my card had it. It's not on this one, I just thought that was a little bit odd. Uh, just because it's one of those cheap things that you know, it just matters aesthetics matter.

On to the features like any other 6900 or 7800 or whatever, you're just gonna have your dual display HDMI and your USB 3.0. Guys, I gotta say, I'm stunned - there are three eight-pin connectors for power, three! I don't even know if this guy knows about that yet.

The good news is I had him buy a Be Quiet 850 Dark Power to run this bad boy, and he's definitely going to need it, guys. What do you think? Have you been trying to hunt down one of these 500 cards?

Oh, the one thing we were trying to find out was if it was numbered - yes, 212 out of 500! The camera picking that up good. So, it is a definite limited edition; it's labeled that, probably a resale point for sure.

**Performance**

Is the card up to snuff? That's something we have to find out down the road here and whether or not I will be allowed to actually do that, that's a better question - because I'd love to put it up against my 6800 just stock for stock, don't play with any settings, and find out which card is better.

that is red devil we have the red devil 6900 xt 16 gig gddr6 card but it's different guys we're standing here next to one of 500 limited edition video cards now from what i was looking at and doing some research on the limited edition is basically keycaps custom keycaps that were designed to put on your mechanical keyboard other than that the other version would be in a different box still including by the look of it a video card stand but none of the key caps or anything so i want to see if this card's numbered as well because that'd be really cool there's supposed to be only 500 available this guy got one i get to take a look at it i guess we're going to do is we're going to take this out of the box and take a look at what's in here what do you get for around two thousand dollars like that magnetic box that is just absolutely sweet so we take this first thing out we have a it's hard probably hard to see i guess you can see it uh power color the black devil red devil black devil red devil uh name right here and then the breakdown of their cooling system and everything and what they did and what makes it more unique now apparently the cooling system in this is pretty hardcore uh that i will not know till later on when the card gets tested by the customer but until then so foam yeah lovely foam okay we have some more red devil pop here uh just looks like oh installation fan power rgb because this actually has rgb headers on it and i'm thinking that's because there's something crazy about this card that i can't wait to see now we have another thing here we can open i don't know what's in here oh what is this oh red devil sticker that's pretty cool right if this is the brand this is your brand you want to be rocking that sticker keep in mind guys my 6900 came with nothing i don't even think i got a sapphire sticker right so i mean this is pretty cool you're getting a bunch of little cool things here which you didn't get in most cards anymore and that's what's very disappointing nowadays amd red devil show us your rig right it's just propaganda sometimes just makes you want to smile right so these are things that i miss well i'm going to put them back in here where they belong is there anything else in there that i'm missing nope so i want the next person to experience the experience i'm experiencing especially when they own it i don't okay so uh looks like it says pull here so we're going to pull here now these this is cool this is cool here's one of the keycaps look at that i love the casing i love it this is even rubberized like this is just so damn sweet i know it's a minor thing but it's a really cool minor thing don't get me wrong this is really sweet and it's just that added touch you know and this is something that's missing in the video card and video game world look at that cute key uh keyboard keycap i mean look at that you're not gonna miss hitting that one that's for sure that is for sure so this is a bracket this is starting to really remind me of the deep cool uh bracket in fact identical so far the deep cool one that i used in my daughter's water build so far has the same parts and this is identical just as power color and here would have been the argb strip that the deep cool had so it's almost like uh deepcool made this for them who knows we have no idea maybe deepcool doesn't even make their own they just brand it but there's no lights in this one so we know 100 that isn't there but is identical in every way and even including the extra piece that goes on to make it taller or not if it's needed to be so that's that's really cool that's pretty much the deep cool okay oh wow that is weight that is amazing i guess we're gonna have to break the seal on this bad boy it's actually not really it was kind of like a folded seal it's a jump full that just kind of seems open because there's no no tape or anything on it that's interesting but you could tell that was never out it's like conformed to it it's almost like it was vacuumed i don't know we're all friends here okay wow okay the wow just stopped for a minute because this little screw here just fell out of the whole thing question is now is it just an extra that by accident was just in there or is it missing so let's take a look that is not cool and look at that screw missing right there not a very cool thing to have happen when you pull a brand new video card out of the bag and you are expecting nothing but perfection it's a good thing my studio is basically attack shop so let's fix this now i'm going to go over them because they're loose every single one of these are loose and that actually bothers me so if you guys are buying one of these look at this oh sorry that's not even a screw look like one but every single screw on this so far i'm able to put a little bit more torque on it so just keep that in mind if you buy this card like any card maybe you should just go over it and make sure everything's tight because if it's not tight then this back plate right here is not going to make the compression that is needed to compress on the thermo pads that are probably on this back plate this back plate's not just usually for show it usually is a heat sink for other components that are on the back here whether it be ram or whatever is necessary but usually it's some sort of heat sink so don't quite think that you should just think that something new out of the box is not going to be an issue and i'm not really going to fault that it who knows it could have been made on a friday and a guy was going out for a beer but that scared me when that screw fell out i'm thinking the worst all i'm thinking is the worst it's not a cheap card from what i understand is the card was about 1800 us now i know it was probably a little bit of scalper pricing in there but being a limited edition you're gonna pay a little tiny bit more for it anyway but i'm guessing this card probably retails around the 1400 mark as did mine roughly and that's where i would think the retail would be and this is canadian funds so now that the screws are back to normal and i don't have to be scared we can take a look at the back plate here and you'll see that it is just absolutely amazing it is all metal all all aluminum brushed aluminum all the way through um even to the bends like it's just really nice something that's really cool here on their website i was taking a look at this i was reading up this is all argb lighting or rgb lighting i'm not sure if it's a rgb but this all lights up and they had it all lit up red like the red devil right so really really sweet so that is just a nice added piece and this is the same whether you buy the limited edition or the other edition which still comes with the video card riser which is kind of nice you just don't get the custom keycaps now the custom keycaps could be a deal breaker for you who knows maybe you're into that kind of thing maybe you're not doesn't matter um the box is completely different you do not get this thick box the magnetic lip and all that and and you know the bump out lettering and this is all puffed out it's just really nicely done to give you that limited edition feel if you're not a guy like me that don't care about the box and who cares you can throw in the garbage i for one don't do that put my boxes away so the cooling system on this is just monstrous now one thing i like about this over the uh like for example my sapphire this is open there's no hidden fans or fins or anything this is just full open airflow that is really sweet card weighs probably about the same maybe a tiny bit more i'll have a scale coming in the near future so we'll be able to actually check all that out i decided that the show needs to scale same thing here well wide open i can see why this card's going to run a little cooler for example than maybe mine because mine will have like a lip like this coming down a bit and coming up a
