**The Ultimate Road Trip: A Porsche 911 Adventure**

For many car enthusiasts, the idea of embarking on an epic road trip is a dream come true. For one lucky individual, that dream became a reality when he decided to hit the open road with his trusty Porsche 911. With its sleek design and powerful engine, this car was the perfect companion for a journey of a lifetime.

The individual's idea of adventure was to simply get out of the city as quickly as possible, pitch up in a beautiful spot, and enjoy the great outdoors. He set up camp using his portable tent, which he affectionately referred to as "the Lux way." With his wife and dog by his side, he felt like the ultimate adventurer.

The individual's road trip began at Monterey, California, where he decided to take on the legendary 17 Mile Drive. This stunning stretch of coastal road offered breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding landscape. He was thrilled when another driver allowed him to join in, and he spent the evening taking in the sights.

As he continued his journey, the individual realized that his car was more than capable of handling long distances and varying terrain. With its roof box, he had ample space for storing gear and supplies. However, what surprised him most was how much he could fit into the car itself – despite the initial underestimation by others.

He took to social media to document his journey, sharing stunning photographs of the scenery and breathtaking views along the way. His Instagram feed quickly gained popularity, as fans followed along on his epic adventure.

**A Partnership in Adventure**

The individual's road trip was not just about him – it was also a partnership with his trusty Porsche 911. Together, they explored the scenic coastal roads and took in the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean. The car's sport exhaust system added to the excitement, giving the individual a sense of freedom and exhilaration as he drove.

**Seattle Bound**

As the individual continued his journey eastward, he set his sights on Seattle and the stunning Olympic National Park. With its lush forests, rugged coastline, and breathtaking mountain vistas, this destination promised to be the ultimate test of his adventure spirit. He looked forward to finding a beautiful spot to pitch up and spend some time in nature.

**A Dream Come True**

For the individual, this road trip was more than just an adventure – it was a dream come true. **A Shout-Out to Porsche**

With its sport exhaust system, this car was capable of delivering exhilarating experiences on the open road. He gave a shout-out to Porsche for creating such an exceptional vehicle, one that had exceeded his expectations in every way.

**A Promise to Meet Again**

As the individual concluded his interview, he made a promise to meet up with his new friend again someday soon. Until then, fans of his Instagram feed could follow along on his next adventure, which promised to be just as exciting and thrilling as the last. from San Francisco up through Napa Valley where we are currently and towards our overnight stop in reading maybe Oregon is ready yeah then we continue further north to Bend Oregon then Portland before finally ending up in Seattle Washington at the weekend so yes it's about three days of true exploration and this is just one of my favorite parts of the puzzle I'm most excited about with the u.s. leg right now we are leaving Napa and we are headed to redwoods state or national park red red well I think reading is in California Humboldt Humboldt Redwoods Park yeah okay which apparently is home to Avenue of the Giants of road surrounded by some of the tallest and biggest trees you've ever seen and we but we're into trees now we weren't previously but this year I would say we're into trees right today it's better especially today oh because we're going to the overview of giants so yes here we go the beginning of the first real travel vlog of the u.s. leg of drive the world in a slightly bizarre move we've put off the 101 highway some about drive through a tree this is the thing here it's happening I Drive it through a tree this is totally bizarre and totally pointless but brilliant when you have long drives like this you really look for any sort of you know distraction and yes driving through a tree definitely a distraction well worth it Wow look at this I've gone don't wait for it Coffee wow grain-free Palio gluten-free snack bars chocolates and some peanut butter kombucha and because we come prepared on a road trip good our own milk don't we okay so we've made it to the other offices yawns Oh Vicky is behind the wheel I've jumped into the passenger seat so I can try and film some of the the Giants I suppose on this Avenue ahead of us we did pick out we did pull over to pick up a sort of a leaflet to talk us through what we were going to see on the Avenue but Vicky used their common sense and said Giants right giant trees Giants how many of the Giants victory please self experience apparently I also was doing some research into Bigfoot because he's kinda like a viral sensation in these part of the world's everywhere we stop there's just being memorabilia everywhere and Vicky what did you say about Bigfoot oh you're sorry super excited I'm driving on camera clear my Sunday's trippin on camera I mean on camera it's been I also I think Bigfoot is a marketing scam I was trying to say probably true but folklorists traced the figure of Pickford to a combination of factors and sources including folklore surrounding the European Wildman finger but anyway yeah apparently Bigfoot is this kind of area we're gonna see him basically for the next 200 miles is gonna be Bigfoot stuff but right now we're gonna get into the the Giants the trees and hopefully I'm going to enjoy my great coffee from whatever that little deli Deerwood something anyway lovely deli we're going to the trees right where's my camera Avenue of the Giants over and we're now making our move in land so it's a driver change time we've got about three and a half hours to read in California yes we figured out that it is California and so we're running quite behind schedule we were hoping to get there around 6 or 7 o'clock it's five now so we're not gonna be getting there anytime before 8:00 but that's just that's what exploring does for you so yes where's it going to plug in now and power on through to ready good morning you find us quite a few hours further north than when we last saw you this is Bend Oregon so yesterday we had to put an epic Drive from Redding California where we were headed and stayed overnight here to mend when I will SaLuSa the sort of volcanic region and it was just absolutely epic right now though we are hitting the road once again headed somewhere called Detroit Oregon not Detroit is it Michigan yeah the famous Detroit we're going to Detroit Oregon we're going to meet up with a well I think iconic Porsche Instagrammer 996 roadtrip rock he has a 996 with a tent on the roof I mean he's truly putting our car to shame anyway we're gonna find out more explain one showing off once we meet up with him in Detroit whilst we make our way there I'm gonna show you some footage from yesterday from that epic drive up from ready I'll sit to get some fuel and then yes we'll see you guys with Brock in Detroit a way to get myself oh this is doing adventures in a 911 the right way brought my awesome to meet you - Sam - this is so so cool I need to hear the full story yeah absolutely let's do it let's start at the beginning let's start with the Portia story because you know okay fine you've got a ten on a car but it is a Porsche so how did that come about well it didn't start that way what happened was as I was looking a rooftop tent for my Range Rover classic which was gonna be pretty fun yeah we were gonna actually do a really long road trip like three or four thousand miles and hey why not sleep on the top of our vehicle found the rooftop tent at a local outfitter here in Portland and then bought it without really thinking it entirely through you've ever done anything like that found out that it wasn't actually gonna fit with the hardware that was on the Range Rover sure come on mistake Yeah right so I decided to maybe put it on my Porsche because I had a roof rack on that and I thought I would just least get it home and then if it worked great if not it was home and I didn't have to worry about anymore but turned out it was amazing and my my 20-minute drive back the house I was getting like thumbs ups lots of thumbs down yes and then a lot of these got home wife looked at it and then the wife and the dog actually said to get in the tent I open it up and now the rest is history super happy and what how come you showed on a nine nine six where did that come with me had you had Porsches before yeah I grew up I shouldn't say grew up but definitely had a been around 911s actually the first Porsche ride I had was in the 928 a pretty interesting way to start of course typical good friend of Mines in high school his dad had a 964 roof but I the 99 sixes are such a ridiculous value right now and the wide-body c4s even better and we were looking for something that was all-wheel-drive because I did have the intentions of like driving in the snow and driving it off you know off-road gravel roads things like that sure I thought all-wheel drive would be a great great thing happen Judah is this something you just enjoy anyway just being out and yeah I love it it's for me it's where I can kind of just recharge I I work a lot despite what it might look like people like what do you do and so the ability for me to just kind of get out quick throw the tent up on and drive some curvy roads was like the ultimate compilation of things it's kind of getting lost in a 911 which is exactly the dream and what we're trying to do I mean is that you have out trumped me massively with like an adventure in a Lux way I think in comparison maybe but I have to say the tent looks super Lux and loo looks really chilled up there now you can have you your wife and the dog in there no problem and what's like okay so longest trip and like best campsite or camping memory with that car in particular so not long after I got the tent Rennsport Union six was going on okay down in Monterey yeah for sure yeah absolutely so I decided that would be like a really great first longer road trip ended up being like I think 1,500 miles round-trip drove down there it was a last-minute decision so everything's okay and it was notebook it's $3,000 absolutely absolutely nuts and I figured you know I can I've got a tent on the top of my car and go anywhere so the guys are at the entrance to 17 mile drive let me in in the evening Oh so I drove I drove 17 mile drive and found one those nice little turnouts pop the tent saw one car drive by that way I woke up I have to interrupt because I decide some people might not know about 17 mile drive you've never been to the Monterey area that hope and insula I don't know how to describe it it is 70 miles of like pure dream roads coastal views property I'm in the price the property prices around there must a bridge 50 million dollars yeah absolutely something outrageous and then you're pitching up intense remember when you you have to pay as well to go Porsche and I was driving one and they just let me in and I absolutely loved it and so we should have we're next I suppose you know you've got this car that theoretically could go anywhere how much of the u.s. have you done in really just the west coast we're actually heading up to Seattle tomorrow nice yes maybe heading into the Olympics so we'll see you some camping out there and I can find a good spot okay yeah pretty much the west coast so for now I think we're just gonna kind of keep working our way east and see where we end up amazing it's unbelievable how easy it is for you to pop that tent open five minutes seven minutes tops and you can just throw the stuff in there usually we keep all of our bedding and stuff in the tent so it doesn't even like we just unfold it and we're good to go though I was going to say because the biggest thing about my car is that the roof box is great because we keep accumulating stuff right but the biggest underestimation I had was how much you can fit in a 911 in general yeah and that's people always ask me they're like how is that possible they don't believe it like there's no way well we're my wife and our we're also ultralight backpackers so we know how to pack light doesn't mean we don't fill it up and we have a dog with us we we fill the front you know if we're going out for a couple nights with campfire wood unlike Vicki and I who are like I think we need these four jackets for California so like we are lit rookies at this but dude I think it's amazing I think the next thing to do is pack up shop get some Instagram photos gotta be zone and then let's hit the road cuz we're both headed to Portland this evening yeah yeah amazing has been so awesome dude what a freakin road oh my god honestly look at some of this scenery it's unbelievable and this continues for miles and miles you are you are spoiled I don't know if you realize this but you are spoiled don't tell me yeah oh wait it's going on YouTube but also so cool to follow your c'mon I have to say like hey this looks epic I'm getting a sense to to what people see when they follow me in the roof folks but time is about 10 9 6 it looks like a great car to drive it sounds epic phenomenal car yeah sport exhaust Porsche did a great job with that give them a plug there I'm so glad we found the time to finally meet up if people want to follow you on Instagram follow your adventures it is 1996 road trip there we go look you don't wanna miss out because some of the pictures some of the places that Brock is taking this car unbelievable select I'll shake your hand so thank you very much drive safe we're gonna catch up with each other somewhere else in the world I promise it don't forget she didn't join the road too much manhello and welcome to sing through glass welcome to the sort of the first truly adventurous day during the US leg of drive the world because today we are headed north from San Francisco up
