The Departure of a Beloved Car: A Reflection on Sacrifices and Long-Term Goals

I think I might have an idea where you might like to go, but tomorrow yeah, I think I might have an idea. You gotta leave, I get it. But um, I think you're going to want to stick around for the car that's about to drop here in the next couple of days. It's going to be epic, so the 63 is gone, and it's heartbreaking for sure. But it's basically like, you have to look at things like this, and this is what has always served me well with my YouTube career and financially. A lot of people ask me, "How do you do some of the stuff?" It's about making the right decision; it's not about always what you want, but rather what you should do, and what's smarter.

It's about preparing you for the future because I couldn't have gotten a car like this or even an earth if I didn't make some sacrifices early on. For every sacrifice you make now, that's going to pay dividends later on. You give up a little bit now for a lot later. I see people all the time; it's a common mistake, they live paycheck to paycheck, whatever, and they have to like they have to buy this thing now and get this cool item or they don't want to give up; they live paycheck to paycheck but they want to drive an expensive car. Heck, I could have kept the 63 and done my house build and everything else, but it wouldn't have been smart financially. It's smarter to do what I'm doing; that's always been my logic, it has always served me really well.

I think I'm doing okay so far; I think it's done pretty well for me. I've gotten to buy whatever dream car I've wanted. You have to balance too because if I thought like oh, if I sell this, I'll spiral into a depression; you know that wouldn't be good. So, you have to enjoy your life and spend on some things that make you happy right now. If you only think of the future, then you're going to get to be like 80, and you'll have all the money in the world to do whatever, but you don't have the energy anymore; you can't do it.

It is a balance; it's not all about like oh, just think of the future. You do have to live in the present. If you can give up a little bit and it's not going to affect your life which that car isn't having an effect on me in any real negative way besides maybe once in a while I'll be like, "I wish I kinda had it." But if you can give up a little bit, that's not gonna affect you in a negative way, and make a lot more later on; I think it's worth it. That's my logic. I know you didn't ask for my advice and my life strategy, but there it is.

In case you maybe want to hear it. The 63 is gone; don't worry, ZR1 here, and again, a new car coming very soon. That's why I sold the event, the door too by the way, loved that car always wanted a freaking Lambo. You guys know that, but it was smarter to sell it. So, you can always get another one like the goal is an SVJ which I will get at some point. But you have to make sure that you're doing what's right and especially if you're running a business based on cars like I am, you have to make sure your ducks are in a row.

I promise you, I'll have another one. sold this car but i would never i know i talked about it but it's really more for like just to kind of see what the reaction was but i i mean this car you guys know i'm freaking in love with it it's been on on the channel for uh it's it's second year now which is long for me and i usually i don't keep a car that long so many memories we've got so much more to go with it too so i could never sell this car but i did sell one black corvette on the channel and that is the 63 which i know a lot of you a lot of you are gonna be really disappointed but it wasn't like i made content with it anyway and although it was really nice to look at it in the background of the videos and it was nice for me to look at it when i walk around i rarely drove it and i got a great offer on it i couldn't refuse i'm sure you guys all know the market is insane right now the car market like every market is unreal i felt like i was gonna get a value for it that i might not ever get the chance to get again except for you know maybe 20 years from now but it was a crazy value and it would be dumb not to sell it i bought the car had some fun made a profit on i literally i got paid to drive that car and own it and have fun with it i literally got a paycheck to do that and that's pretty rare so i wanted to take it and you guys all know that we have a big house build going on right now and this is the home that we are going to spend a very long time and i hate to say the rest of our lives because i don't like to think of getting old but it might very well be so we're going all out it's going to be expensive and the money for that car is going to make me like that hundred and whatever thousand i told the guy i wouldn't say what it was but that that money is gonna make me over the next year or two at least double triple you know maybe two hundred three hundred thousand dollars no problem it would be dumb for me not to make that money right now because i wasn't using the car it just it's like a great car but not the right time i will get another one for sure which by the way actually the guy who bought it i know i sold it through the guy who i got it from originally and i know the buyer would sell it back to me for sure so we might even get that car back but and i would love to but it isn't the right time for me to have a collection and i also have something huge about to hit the channel here shortly so i know it's sad it is and it is sad for me too but i think i can get that same car back or at least get another one but it would be done financially for me it would be really stupid to keep
