The Battery Life of the Samsung Galaxy S4: A Personal Experience

As I sit here with my trusty Samsung Galaxy S4, I get asked this question quite frequently: how is the battery life? And I have to say, the battery life that I get on my Samsung Galaxy S4 is excellent. I'd like to share with you my experience and show you the results of my testing.

My Samsung Galaxy S4 has been my faithful companion for the past two days, and I've been using it lightly, not in my regular usage. But I want to show you how well it performs even in light use. As you can see, this is my Samsung Galaxy S4, and I'll be using it to demonstrate its battery life.

For all my testing, I made sure to keep the battery level low by turning off the screen brightness to zero auto mode. This allowed me to observe the battery life accurately without any external influences. Now, let's take a look at the battery level and see what we have here. As you can see, the battery life currently stands at 35 percent, and it's been two days since I last put the phone on charge. Yes, that's right – this is what light usage looks like on my Samsung Galaxy S4, and I'm pleased to say that it's performing exceptionally well.

Next, let's take a look at the screen on time. As you can see, the screen has been on for just one hour and 15 minutes, which I'd say is decent enough for light usage. And if we look at my voice call history, we can see that I made only 31 minutes of voice calls – again, a testament to the excellent battery life of this phone.

Now, let's talk about my typical usage scenario. In my regular usage, I take the phone out of its charger around 7:30 or 8 o'clock in the morning and put it back in charge around 10:30 or 11 o'clock at night. Even with regular use, I still manage to get battery life between 30% to 40%. The screen time is generally around 2 hours, and my talk time is very similar, about 30 to 40 minutes. As you can see, the Samsung Galaxy S4 delivers excellent battery life even in my typical usage.

One of the reasons I love this phone is its great battery life regarding data. I keep my data connection always on most of the time, but it's mostly on Wi-Fi – around 90% of the time.
