unhook it here bring it down pretty self-explanatory and then pop out the feet so if you want something that's super easy to set up and ready to go out the box this would be a great option and again I do personally like the shock mount on these because I tend to either hit my desk or bump my table or something like that and the shock mount will stop those vibrations from coming up the tripod and into the microphone now you can also take this off right here and actually unscrew this and hook it here to a microphone arm so that will work just fine there or you can go ahead and keep it connected to the tripod that way you can move it around your desk so looking at a couple of the features here on the bottom you do have a dial this dial in particular is for the RGB lighting and this button here is also for the RGB lighting so that when you are when it is set up on your desk if you want to turn the RGB lighting down you can or you can turn it to Max brightness you can also change the different types of RGB settings maybe it's a strobing or a changing colors or whatever it does you can do that right here with this button on the fly on the top here you also have the same sort of dial which is nice but this one up here is for volume or for gain so if you turn it all the way to the right that's down if you turn it all the way to the left that's all the way up so that's the most volume you can get out of the device itself on the top here if you can see this there's also a mute button so you can easily mute yourself on the off chance that you want to turn it off while you're recording so yeah it seems like a pretty robust microphone for being sort of a budget uh podcasting or streaming microphone like I said it is heavy it does feel very durable so let's go ahead and I
