With its ability to upgrade RAM and storage, this laptop offers flexibility and customization options that set it apart from other devices in its class.

**Upgrading the RAM and Storage**

One of the standout features of the Razer Blade 15 is its ease of upgrading. The laptop's RAM slots support up to 32 gigs of RAM in total, providing ample room for users to upgrade and increase performance as needed. Additionally, the laptop features an M2 SSD port that supports up to 2 terabytes of storage, allowing users to expand their storage capacity easily. This means that users can opt for a lower storage model initially and then upgrade it themselves later on, saving money in the process.

**Specifications**

The Razer Blade 15 is powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-87K processor with a clock speed of 4.1 GHz and six cores. This provides impressive processing power and efficiency. The laptop also comes with 16 gigs of RAM, which can be upgraded to 32 gigs on the user's own. For graphics, the Razer Blade 15 features either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 GPU, both of which are equipped with the Max Q designation. This certification indicates that the laptop meets specific size and power specifications set by NVIDIA, ensuring a consistent gaming experience.

**Storage Options**

The Razer Blade 15 offers storage options ranging from 256 gigs to 512 gigs SSD, depending on the model chosen. **Battery Life**

The Razer Blade 15 boasts improved battery life due to its additional 10 watt hours, bringing the total battery size to 71 Whr. This increase in power efficiency allows the laptop to last longer on a single charge, making it suitable for users who need a device that can keep up with their active lifestyle.

**Software**

Users can easily uninstall these games if they choose to, as is often the case with modern operating systems. The Synapse software allows users to customize their devices in various ways, including setting up profiles for specific games or applications. Users can also set custom key settings and chroma colors, which can be synchronized across all connected devices. "WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enRazer has finally updated their blade lineup with the all-new Razer Blade 15 smaller bezels bigger screen more power more battery and a new more square design make it the first big refresh to the blade product line since initial launch in 2015 with that said there's a lot to cover on the Razer Blade 15 so let's get started with the styling and the hardware first we need to talk about the new design language and it can be described easily in one word boxy following the styling of the razor phone that was released not too long ago the new Razer Blade 15 has a very squared design with much sharper edges in the previous model personally I kind of liked it the entire laptop is made out of an aluminum unibody design that is painted a matte black color and is now 14 inches wide by 9.3 inches deep and point six six inches thin for the 1060 model with 0.68 inches thin for the 1070 model which means it's only a bit wider than the previous razor blade and a hair thinner actually which is pretty incredible considering it now has a 15.6 inch IPS screen thanks to the much smaller 4.6 millimeter bezels I'm sure and according to Razer this makes it the world's smallest 15.6 inch gaming laptop that new screen is available in three versions a 60 Hertz 1920 by 1080 matte finish option on just their lowest model a 1920 by 1080 144 Hertz matte finish option and a 4k 60 Hertz touchscreen option here I have the 1920 by 1080 144 Hertz matte finish model now above that screen there's a 1 megapixel 720p webcam and our array microphones below it we have our anti-ghosting very clicky mechanical keyboard as usual for Razer that is individual RGB coloring for each key that can be controlled and customized pretty extensively via their Razer synapse app which we'll get to more in a sec and below that we have our 50% larger clickable glass trackpad that is thankfully a precision trackpad which is always better if you're not familiar with precision trackpads it basically means that those handles the drivers and you can use windows gestures and it'll be updated by Microsoft which just makes for a more seamless and yes precise integration with Windows now on either side of the keyboard we have the two dual front firing speakers that utilize Dolby Atmos for their audio integrated into the right speaker grille we have our power button on the right side we have our Kensington lock which is a way of locking your computer us that I've seen on some computers and always that was a bit aggressive but I'm sure someone uses them in a very shady office setting maybe a mini displayport one point for an HDMI 2.0 B port one of our USB 3.1 gen2 our USB C Thunderbolt 3 port which allows you to not only connect any Thunderbolt device but works quite well with the razor core line of external GPUs you could check out this video on that on the left side we have our new squashed power port apparently may need to make it this shape to fit into the thinner sides of the razorblade 15 I was told two more of our USB 3.1 gen2 our 3.5 millimeter headphone / microphone combo port on the top of the lid we have the unmistakable three headed green snake logo of Razer that lights up and can even be customized a little by razor's same software for the keyboard lighting called synapse on the bottom we have our two exhaust vents that are attached to Razors new vapor chamber cooling system that draws heat away from the components and out the bottom of the laptop also on the bottom you'll notice that we have some t5 screws a unique feature of this new razor blade is the ability to upgrade the RAM and or the storage yourself you can simply take off the bottom and give easy access to the RAM slots that support up to 32 gigs of ram in total and the m2 SSD port that will support up to 2 terabytes in storage now this means you can go for the lower storage model and save money by upgrading it yourself add more RAM past the 16 gigs it comes with to increase performance or even upgrade as you need either to be upgraded in the future considering all the gamers that use these products and those types of people I think this is pretty clever of razer now for exactly how to upgrade the Razer Blade 15 Ram and SSD you can check out my step by step tutorial video below now speeding on the RAM in storage let's delve into the colonel specs powering the razorblade 15 we have an 8th gen Intel Core i7 87 for th 4.1 gigahertz six core processor 16 gigs of ram that again you can upgrade to 32 gigs on your own and the choice of either an nvidia geforce gtx 1060 GPU or a gtx 1070 both with the max q designation my max q if you aren't familiar is a sort of certification that nvidia gives when they laptop manufacturer works with them and reaches a certain size sound and other specifications using one of their Nvidia graphics cards now storage wise you can go for a 256 gig or a 512 gig SSD depending on the model you choose and again they also board up to 2 terabytes if you want to upgrade them yourself for power they've added an additional 10 watt hours bringing the battery size to 71 hours I'm anxious acestus out in conjunction with the new more power conscience processors to see if it actually has decent battery life which is a big complaint for most over last models and now let's move on to the software which thanks to Ray's there's no bloatware policy there isn't much to cover it is running Windows 10 and it comes with candy crush and minecraft and a couple of other games pre-installed I'm pretty sure that those are included with Windows 10 nowadays though since I see them on so many laptops and of course they can be uninstalled easily if you want now the only other software really is the affirmation Razer synapse in this software you can customize your Razer devices that are connected to the computer including custom key settings hyper shift which lets you add more functions to any key by holding down the hyper shift button while pressing them you can customize color settings which is called chroma for each individual device or even sync them up so that they orchestrate their patterns across all of the devices you can add profiles to change colors performance settings etc based on games that you're playing and it'll automatically load them or even other programs and you can also use the Philips hue module to alter the lighting in your house according to the game and whatever is happening if you have Philips hue bulbs installed now finally in here we have the macro module that allows you to set a combination of keys to run or even mouse movements etc whenever you press a certain key these can also be set to specific games or grams making them good for gamers who want to run things faster while playing for example now for anyone wondering here are the scores for a couple of common benchmarks now in fire strike I got a 14 thousand and twelve in Geekbench for CPU I got a 48 14 for a single car and a 20 1836 for multi-core and for the Geekbench OpenCL test on the card I got a 100 40 1705 and there you go guys I believe walkthrough of the razor blade if let me let you guys thought
