Hello World: A Tour of Chris Parrillo's LEGO Collection

I'm Chris Parrillo and I'm thrilled to be in my LEGO room, which is now affectionately known as my "LEGO sanctuary." As you can see, there are most of my LEGO Minifigures on display, with some of them hiding behind other shelves. The focal point of my room is actually the Lego Death Star that I built live eons ago – yes, you read that right; eons ago! It's a testament to my dedication to this hobby and a reminder of how far I've come.

This video is live, which means it explains not just quality but also the possible interactivity I might have with those who are tuning in live to this particular broadcast. I've always been fascinated by the LEGO Minifigure, and my love affair with them started long before most people knew who I was. There's something special about these small, intricately designed figures that brings joy to people of all ages. As I often say, connecting with people on the internet has made it possible for me to meet folks from Romania and Canada like Liz – she even joined in and said hello! It's moments like these that remind me of the power of community and how we can come together through shared interests.

Now, let's talk about the reason I got this new addition to my collection: an exclusive Batgirl Minifigure. I learned recently that one of the LEGO Batman movie editions comes with a special Batgirl figure, and I just had to have it. Sure, having a copy of the movie is nice, but for me, it's all about the exclusivity of this particular minifigure. I've always enjoyed collecting these small figures, not just because they're fun to look at but also because they remind me of the simple joys in life.

As someone who loves technology and gadgets, I'm excited to have a new addition that combines both my love for LEGO and technology – a Blu-ray DVD and digital HD copy of the LEGO Batman movie. In today's world where streaming has become the norm, it's refreshing to still own physical copies of media. It keeps things interesting and allows me to appreciate the art of collecting more fully.

For those who might be wondering, I'm always on the lookout for ways to improve my collection or expand it in some way. This new acquisition is just one part of that ongoing process. Sometimes, I'll spend hours opening new packages or unwrapping surprises from fellow collectors. It's a small pleasure, but one that brings me joy nonetheless.

One thing that might surprise you about me is that, despite my love for LEGO and technology, I'm not always up to date with the latest gadgets. There have been times when I've felt like I need something new, but then realized it wasn't as important as I thought it was at first glance. This time, however, I couldn't resist the opportunity to get my hands on a brand-new iPad Pro – one that's been calling my name for a while now.

It turns out that some of these experiences can be found in everyday life. Sometimes, we just need to take a moment and appreciate what we have before we start chasing after something new. Whether it's a LEGO minifigure or the latest smartphone, there's always something worth savoring in life.

I've been fortunate enough to connect with fans from all over the world – folks like Christopher who's tuning in from Roswell, New Mexico, for example. It's amazing how much we can learn about each other and share our experiences when we come together through a common interest. As I always say, there's more to life than just what you see on the surface.

Now that I've opened my package and taken a look at this exclusive Batgirl figure, I think it's time for me to get back to work. There are still videos to record – not just about LEGO but also about the new iPad Pro that just arrived in the mail. I'll be sure to share those with all of you soon enough.

while back that one of these editions would have Batgirl an exclusive minifigure and I wanted the exclusive minifigure that's really the only reason I got this I mean it's nice that certainly you know have a copy but if there's a movie out there that has an exclusive minifigure even if I don't really want the movie I chase it specifically because of the minifigure I've always been a fan of the minifigure going all the way back to long before half of anybody knew who I was and that I just Claudia says hello from Romania very nice see it's the wonderful thing about connecting with people on the internet so we have people from Romania and Canada hey Liz don't think I didn't see you joining I can't hide so we've got a cardboard box and inside is the case for the movie in the minifigure that is safely tucked away inside a poly bag ah that makes me I have a polybag stack in here I don't always remove the figures from the poly bags but I do believe that this is an exclusive just the one that's associated specifically with a Batman movie and only available in this particular capacity so again I used gift cards to get this for free didn't cost me anything which is awesomely bad I even get postcards who says postcards not as excited about these and still it's nice to get those kind of bonuses so this has blu-ray DVD and digital HD if I do chase a movie down and do have an opportunity I'd much prefer digital HD to anything because it's how we watch everything anymore because I don't want to have a full inventory of discs physical stuff like this not worth anything I mean it is worth something I will watch the movie I'll get the digital code and watch the movie digitally and then store the physicality of this because this is Matt that is see between these two so I want to I want to see the movie it's to my knowledge been rated very very highly a lot of people really enjoyed the Lego Batman movie I enjoyed the lego movie greatly of course I enjoy a lot of what Lego provides but yeah that's the package and I'm so excited to be able to watch the Lego Batman movie tonight I will be I will be watching this I'm not going to watch it immediately because I have other things to do this afternoon including recording a first impressions video for the the new iPad pro which I haven't touched for the past couple of hours because I was out getting this slightly more important I think in the grander scheme of things right why are you after better I really want to open her I do see that's the problems I need to get to you know it's almost like I have to get to so I can open one oh cool Christopher's tuning in from Roswell New Mexico dude that's awesome I've never been but I enjoy watching that guy stuff I think Diana records a lot of those shows too like to to watch yeah it's just it's entertaining then again I would like to believe that there is intelligent life somewhere beyond this planet because lord knows we don't have much here that's a fact that seems to be proven everyday anymore alright I don't know if I'm going to be with you here for too much longer I'm just kind of opening the disk needs to kind of call these well I guess there cases you know to a certain degree not going to show you everything because then I cheery medical code and then what you guys would redeem it and then it could very angry but the CD version of this would we call them jewel cases I never really looked up never bothered to look up why but I'm going to be a plane with my Batman hands watching the Batman and then putting Batgirl way for safekeeping okay I'm
