Ferrari 488 PISTA Coffee Run!

**A Magical Coffee Experience at Good Life Roastery**

As I stepped into the Good Life Roastery, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The aroma of freshly roasted coffee filled the air, and my senses were immediately awakened. David, the owner, greeted me warmly and invited me to try their specialty coffee. "First of all, thank you for having me," he said, as we began our journey into the world of high-quality coffee.

**The Magic of Specialty Coffee**

David explained that specialty coffee is a distinct category within the broader coffee industry, characterized by its focus on traceability and terroir. This means that every coffee bean has a specific origin, farm, and region, which impart unique characteristics to the final product. "We work with dedicated origins," David emphasized, "to ensure that each coffee has a specific identity." For him, this is crucial in creating an exceptional cup of coffee.

**The Art of Coffee Roasting**

As we walked towards the roasting machine, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and curiosity. The roasting process is a delicate art form that requires precision and skill. David showed me how to roast green beans, explaining the importance of temperature control, timing, and technique in achieving the perfect roasted flavor. "This is where we allow all this specificity of the terroir to shine," he said, as we watched the beans transform into a fragrant, golden brown roast.

**The World of Arabica Coffee**

Within the world of Arabica coffee, there are over 50 subtypes of coffee trees, each with its unique characteristics and flavor profiles. "Knowing the type of coffee is very important," David noted, "as it affects the final taste in the cup." He explained that by working with different origins and farming methods, roasters can create a diverse range of flavors and experiences for coffee enthusiasts.

**A Day of Driving the Porsche GT3**

After our coffee tasting, I was invited to take the Porsche GT3 out for a spin. As I settled into the driver's seat, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. The car roared to life beneath me, its turbocharged engine propelling us onto the road with incredible speed and agility. "This is a hundred percent adrenaline rush," I exclaimed, as we hurtled through the twists and turns of the track.

**The Thrill of the Drive**

As I drove the Porsche GT3, I was struck by its exceptional balance and handling. The car responded eagerly to every input, its suspension effortlessly absorbing even the most aggressive corners. "This is a car that needs an exhaust," David quipped, as we pulled back into the parking lot. And indeed it did – a deep, throaty rumble that perfectly complemented the GT3's raw power and agility.

**A Perfect Day with Good Life Roastery**

As I left the Good Life Roastery, I felt grateful for the experience I had just enjoyed. From the exceptional coffee to the thrilling drive in the Porsche GT3, every moment had been memorable and enjoyable. I thanked David and his team for their hospitality and generosity, already looking forward to my next visit. As I walked away from the roastery, I couldn't help but feel that this was a truly special place – one that would stay with me forever.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthat was brave oh my god holy moly this is intense hmm welcome to another coffee run video in a car that i've been very very eager to drive just so happens i had a friend that bought one as you do so today i've borrowed my friends ferrari pista in what is a outstanding configuration that he made on this car all he said to me was take care the car snaps so taking care is what i will be doing very happy to be back in a ferrari it's been a long time and what a ferrari to be back in 8 000 gear change oh there's the speed okay that picks up quickly we're doing a bit more than just going to buy a takeaway coffee today we're going to stop by and see good life good life is a coffee brand in lausanne and we're going gonna stop by where they roast the coffee do a bit of coffee tasting we're going next level on the coffee runs today i'm just getting used to the car at the moment but yeah the car is an animal there's no messing around in this it sounds like a race car it feels like a race car i can assure you there is an exhaust modification on this i should probably point that out this is much louder than any other piece that you would have ever heard if not probably the loudest at the moment and to match the exhaust the car also had a map so it's actually putting out more power than stock just what you need right i'm so pumped to be in this car today sun's out god when i first sat in here yes you do get a very speciale feeling the kind of bare interior the hard floors no floor mats i've only heard good things about this car so i'm very very happy to be driving it today as you can see as well my friend with the sapphire blue manual gt3 is in front of me he's joining me today because why not i actually had the opportunity to choose between two cars today and that car in front of me is probably is my dream car to be honest but because i've already filmed it i am going to film it more but because i've never driven one of these obviously i chose this today and you know you don't get these off as much i don't know when i would get another offer to drive a pista so i thought i should take it while it's there to experience the car it feels so cool to drive a supercar again the last i don't know months half a year i've driven cool cars but not a supercar where you sit in the car you really feel that you're somewhere special and this is what that is let's get past this tractor should it be hard and pass the tractor there we go look at these brakes you just literally look at the brake pedal and i'm just touching it maybe like five percent cheeky tunnel what kind of tunnel i'm liking these coffee run videos i like that they are getting next level higher and higher not just the cars but also the coffee do you need more power than the special probably not to be honest but this is crazy impressive and if you are to go to the track then this is without a doubt going to be mind-blowing on the track so stock this has 711 horsepower crazy now bearing in mind this has an exhaust and a map so it's i don't know the exact amount but it's probably around the 750 mark twin turbocharged 3.9 liter v8 that just propels you into space steering oh my god you really had to adjust your steering in this because it steers so fast you have to kind of recalibrate your normal steering for any other sports car you have to basically ease off the steering because it's so fast sun's out 13 degrees got a ferrari pistol going to drink some really good coffee days do not get much better than this fact and i get to look at the gt3 the whole way that gt3 is loud as you maybe have guessed as well it's not stuck on the exhaust on that as well what a way to start a day after the last year it feels really great to just do something like this today two amazing cars with a friend going to do something fun i think it's what we all need at the moment that was brave oh my god holy moly this is intense this kind of i love it what i like about him is he drives that gt3 first of all as his daily second of all oh i'm going to put the lift up a second i'll get back to you second of all he drives it properly he really uses it quite a big bump here don't want to hear any carbon on this lift system and back down no problem savage sound barely touching the throttle and it's just dancing dancing on the back oh i like you ferrari i really really like you very playful is probably an understatement but so far i don't want to speak too soon it feels playful in a nice way what a legend quite shocked about the price they seem to be going for around 400 000 in switzerland and above 400 000 not sure when the last time i drove something that feels just this nice perfect on the corners apart from a gt3 of course but this is really special really really special it's kind of perfection me my god welcome to the good life roastery i have been at well actually not this place but with good life i think it was around three years ago i made a video with a porsche gt3 where i visited good life it was one of my best experiences ever regarding coffee first of all the smell i wish you guys could smell what's going on in here it is just magical david thank you first of all for having me and i've just drunk the best coffee ever what's going on here what's going on let's go because it looks amazing and the coffee is amazing it's a it's what we call specialty coffee so specialty coffee is in a position of with commodity coffee which is like the regular coffee that you can find anywhere specialty coffee basically is all about first of all all about traceability and the terroir so just to understand that the coffee is coming from a tree from a farm from a special place in in the world and so we what we call origins and so it's really key for us to to work with dedicated origins and knowing from which place in the world from which farm this is coming because this will give a specific identity to the beans and to the coffee that you will drink after so that's the very first important step is to know where your coffee is from and secondly very important is the type of coffee so within the world of arabica there is like 50 subtypes of coffee trees so important as well to know with which tree you work uh so as well to get the better taste after in in the cup and then very important is the roasting process that we do with the roasting machine which you showed me earlier i got to experience it still a little bit warm and i love the warmth and the smell i could i could stand here all day just roasting coffee it must be like it's such a nice warming exact feeling and what makes really the difference is from the green beans themselves these beans are coming from zambia for example and so all these beans are coming from the same place in the world from the same form and so they are all like sisters and brothers if we look at them in a micro level they all share the same genetics and so what we do is that we take a batch of this 10 kilos of this coffee and we roast it put it here in the offer and start the roasting so what we do is that we while roasting the coffee we allow all this specificity of the terroir to shine and then comes out roasted and and gives you an amazing cup that is which i can again very specific in terms of taste and also what is amazing is the differences that we can that we can go because they were in zambia then we could go in colombia we can go in uganda we can go in a lot of different places where all these farmers have hand-picked the coffee cherries and then salt sorted them so to to arrive uh then then to us we tend to believe that this is how you create specific moments as well with your friends and all that yeah so it's gonna make them discover something new uh around coffee just by explaining that coffee doesn't equal coffee there is so many varieties so many places and way to roast it and to then to brew it could be expressed so it can be filtered it can be i need to come spend like a week here and just learn about coffee i thought i knew about coffee but now i'm thinking i don't know as much as i want to know i want to know everything there is a whole world it's so fascinating yeah thank you so much my pleasure and your pleasure to have you yeah well i'm definitely coming back on a regular basis because this place is awesome and we ate an amazing burger yeah so of course pretty good day so far oh my word um when we left the good life roastery my friend offered that i take the gt3 and i said you know what i'm gonna keep driving this today but i know i won't get that many opportunities to drive the pista so i said i'm gonna keep driving it today but the more i'm driving it just the more i'm getting into it the more i'm learning the car it's such a crazy savage fast beautifully balanced card i'm absolutely blown away by this car and i want one badly even though it's turbocharged and you know doesn't have the naturally aspirated v8 this car is a hundred percent adrenaline rush and that's why i want one in my life and i totally understand why anybody would buy one of these as i was speaking to the owner though it needs an exhaust i've heard some stock and yeah it needs this exhaust oh yes get me one of these now while i'm sitting at these traffic lights thank you guys so much for watching today as always just thank you for being part of my channel hitting the thumbs up subscribing to my channel just enjoying the journey with me what a perfect day for me it is ciao for now you\n"
