**Changing Ringtone Vibration and Notification Sounds**

One of the features I like about this watch is that you can change your ringtone vibration intensity. The current setting is pretty good, but it's also quite thick. I think leaving the thickness as it is is a good idea, as it adds to the overall ruggedness of the watch. On the other hand, you have the option to adjust the notification sound, which is great because you can customize it to your liking. The current notification sound is fine, but you also have the option to choose from a variety of different sounds.

In addition to changing the ringtone vibration and notification sound, you can also change the touch screen sounds. You can turn them off or adjust their volume to your liking. I've chosen to leave them on because they're not too distracting, but it's great that you have the option to customize them. Moving on, you can also access your device settings from the watch. This includes things like scheduling, world clock, music player, gallery, and find my phone. These features are all useful in their own way, and having them at your fingertips is a big plus.

One of the most noticeable features of this watch is its display. The brightness setting is currently set to 10, which is quite high. However, you can adjust it to suit your preferences. I've chosen to leave it on the higher end because I like to be able to see the screen clearly, even in bright sunlight. You also have access to a variety of different display settings, including brightness and contrast adjustments.

**Evolution of Samsung Watches**

Before I get into the specifics of this watch, let me take a quick look at how Samsung watches have evolved over time. *shows images of older Samsung watches* Ah, the original Samsung watch with the camera on the side was definitely hot back in the day. However, it was also quite stiff and rigid. Then came the second generation, which kept many of the same features but added some new ones. The latest version, however, is probably my favorite because it still has a lot of the same great features that made previous models so popular.

I've actually been using the Gear S2 for a while now, and I have to say, I love it. However, with the release of the new Gear S3, I'm excited to see what it has to offer. One thing I like about this watch is its large display screen. It's 1.3 inches across, which makes it perfect for reading emails or browsing the web on the go. The watch also comes in a variety of different bands, including a new one that I think looks awesome.

plus about $5 a month for service now if you buy off contract then you're looking at anywhere from 300 to 350 bucks same thing at Best Buy and if you buy it from Amazon you're looking at 300 bucks now yeah I know I hate talking about specs but since this is an unboxing video let's go over the main specs that you need to know so what's the difference between the frontier and the classic well you got two major differences number one the classic looks a little bit different we'll talk about that in a minute and number two the frontier version is LTE capable which means you could drop a SIM card in here and use this as a standalone device now the watch is made out of stainless steel and features the upgraded version of Samsung pay which you can use directly from your watch and it pretty much works everywhere now to watch this ip68 certified dust and water resistant which means you can submerge it for about one and a half meters up to thirty minutes now you got a 1.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 360 by 360 now it's 278 for the PPI patrol you get Corning Gorilla Glass and saw plus that's the newest version for the watches you got the always-on display the rotating bezel it's running the latest version of tides in OS that's two point three point two you got the Exynos 72 70 chipset that's dual-core one gigahertz you got four gigs of storage and 768 megabytes of RAM now you got a non-removable 380 million battery which Samsung claims is gonna give you three to four days of battery life and everybody knows in the real world that means about one and a half to can click on download more now for notifications let you manage all your notifications so say you don't want to get too many Twitter alerts you can deactivate Twitter or if you're on Facebook all day you don't want to get a thousand and one Facebook messages deactivate facebook or you can just check them all and get all your notifications now you also have different options show your notifications while you using the phone you might not want to double up and you can change your notification indicator now here's your apps you can manage the order when you cycle through or you can delete them right here from the phone now you also got send content to your gear this is how you're gonna sync your music and your photos so if you want to put some music directly onto the watch this way you can to rock with the over-the-horizon now this is your apps settings this is like a quick toggle page so you got SL s voice s voice is the only thing I don't like about this watch but I'll cover that in a little bit more detail go to your settings and all your apps and you can add a widget so now you got an alarm you can add your app shortcuts contacts for contacts on one page you got your s health your exercise s health your floor's s health your heart rate monitor you got your leaderboard which I can see how you're doing your water intake you got a calendar you got the weather and you got your world clock so I've just add a calendar and now we got another homepage let's see let's add one more let's add our let's see if we can add a heart rate monitor okay now you could add a bunch of widgets I don't know with them what the max number is let's do the four contacts matter-of-fact won't even do that just yet but we'll see when I do the work when I do the full review we'll see how many you could totally add altogether but it's a lot let's try one more why not kind of curious add an alarm okay bunch of different widgets you can add let's see what's the next one arm why not we'll ringing alright stop now use that a lot too because my phone slips out of my pocket goes underneath the car seat and you just activate that and find your phone alright so look real quick let's go through the settings let's see Papa Papa bar let's go to settings real quick now here's your basic settings you got style so there's your watch faces you can per turn your always-on display on/off your notification indicator show on the watch face I like that this way you'll see a little notification drop-down you can change the background this display of your notifications pretty similar to the galaxy ones change the fonts okay you got your sound and vibrations okay change the volume change the vibration intensity you got different ringtones that's a stay-away this is the one I use streetlights but you got a bunch standard beeps digital beep got a bunch to choose from street lights is probably the loudest one what you're gonna want if you want outdoor settings now you can change your ringtone vibration intensity this one is pretty good pretty thick we'll leave that one you got your notification sound you got a bunch of different notification sounds we're leaving on the dingdong lineup and you can change the notification vibration and you can also change the touch screen sounds from on/off I'll just leave them on why not you got your device settings I double press the HOME key that'll take you to s voice you could probably change that if you want to schedule settings whether world clock your mind does phone music player gallery I'll leave it on find my phone just that's the one I use the most change your display settings got the brightness set on 10 bunch of different centers to play with that's pretty much it overall let me go to watch on my wrist real quick so you could get an idea of what it looks like overall low on a scale of 1 to 10 I am definitely feeling this one the band on this one this is the best gear s band so far now I like the old-school class a little bit better but this one just feels thick it is a link magnet but it feels nice and thick and it feels rugged you're gonna like the weight of this watch though I can't stress that enough the big stainless steel watch the bezel has a nice click to it very responsive matter of fact let me do a little op test phone call so you can see what it looks like when you get in the phone call the song and you call myself real quick this one's going to look like when you get in a phone call all right so ringing on the phone ringing on the watch now if I want I could just swipe up loud now I can switch the music from here directly over to the phone or vice versa I don't have any music on here just yet so we're just gonna have to rock with the over-the-horizon now this is your apps settings this is like a quick toggle page so you got SL s voice s voice is the only thing I don't like about this watch but I'll cover that in a little bit more detail go to your settings and all your apps and you can add a widget so now you got an alarm you can add your app shortcuts contacts for contacts on one page you got your s health your exercise s health your floor's s health your heart rate monitor you got your leaderboard which I can see how you're doing your water intake you got a calendar you got the weather and you got your world clock so I've just add a calendar and now we got another homepage let's see let's add one more let's add our let's see if we can add a heart rate monitor okay now you could add a bunch of widgets I don't know with them what the max number is let's do the four contacts matter-of-fact won't even do that just yet but we'll see when I do the work when I do the full review we'll see how many you could totally add altogether but it's a lot app now Find My Phone is another one that I use a lot say I lose my phone somewhere in the car hit find my phone and it's gonna make my phone's start ringing alright stop now use that a lot too because my phone slips out of my pocket goes underneath the car seat and you just activate that and find your phone alright so look real quick let's go through the settings let's see Papa Papa bar let's go to settings real quick now here's your basic settings you got style so there's your watch faces you can per turn your always-on display on/off your notification indicator show on the watch face I like that this way you'll see a little notification drop-down you can change the background this display of your notifications pretty similar to the galaxy ones change the fonts okay you got your sound and vibrations okay change the volume change the vibration intensity you got different ringtones that's a stay-away this is the one I use streetlights but you got a bunch standard beeps digital beep got a bunch to choose from street lights is probably the loudest one what you're gonna want if you want outdoor settings now you can change your ringtone vibration intensity this one is pretty good pretty thick we'll leave that one you got your notification sound you got a bunch of different notification sounds we're leaving on the dingdong lineup and you can change the notification vibration and you can also change the touch screen sounds from on/off I'll just leave them on why not you got your device settings I double press the HOME key that'll take you to s voice you could probably change that if you want to schedule settings whether world clock your mind does phone music player gallery I'll leave it on find my phone just that's the one I use the most change your display settings got the brightness set on 10 bunch of different centers to play with that's pretty much it overall let me go to watch on my wrist real quick so you could get an idea of what it looks like overall low on a scale of 1 to 10 I am definitely feeling this one the band on this one this is the best gear s band so far now I like the old-school class a little bit better but this one just feels thick it is a link magnet but it feels nice and thick and it feels rugged you're gonna like the weight of this watch though I can't stress that enough the big stainless steel watch the bezel has a nice click to it very responsive matter of fact let me do a little op test phone call so you can see what it looks like when you get in the phone call the song and you call myself real quick this one's going to look like when you get in a phone call all right so ringing on the phone ringing on the watch now if I want I could just swipe up you got my declined messages vodka Just Answer hello hello see if talking into this hello you could talk to either one hello hello so the speaker does work that's pretty dope overall this is a go what scale of 1 to 10 trust me I think this is my new favorite watch it was the Apple watch because my guess too was a little bit too small but this one is a little bit better now so there's gonna be my new favorite watch now real quick let's see the evolution of the samsung watches I know I got a special request to show this now y'all remember the original Samsung watch with the camera on the side this one was hot but only thing about this one the band on this look out look how stiff and rigid that BAM was but I love the camera on this one square face I was feeling that this one also had this kind of charger right here that you had to plug in yeah I remember if you lost this charger you was passed out then we had the second version this is probably the best one because it still had the camera incognito camera this is the one I use right now when I go to Six Flags I go somewhere where you're not supposed to have a camera I always use this watch you're still able to take your little 15 second clip videos and you could take your regular still photos same kind of charger right there then you had the big boy I the solo standalone version this charger broke so many times but this is still a classic right here I actually still rock this one this one looks so badass big giant bright display still use this one this is my favorite band you see the locking mechanism on this band I'm gonna find one like that for the new gear s3 and I'll do a little video on net and the gear s2 still a classic right here still in heavy rotation but you got to buy gear s specific bands now but the gear s3 any band all right that's 22 millimeters will
