Battery Test Comparison: iPhone 10 R vs iPhone 11 and iPhone 10s vs iPhone 11 Pro
After hours upon hours of testing the new iPhones versus last year's iPhones, I have for you guys the battery test comparison of the iPhone 10 R vs iPhone 11 and at the iPhone 10 s versus the iPhone 11 Pro. On Apple's iPhone 11 / o presentation or iPhone 11 presentation, I went on record to say that the iPhone 11 will have an hour more of extra on screen time the battery then that of the iPhone 10 R which is the upgrade to the iPhone 10.
All the settings were identical for this test. The brightness was up to 75% on all four devices, and we did the exact same task listen to music browse the web search some apps overall general tasks on the DS devices Bluetooth and Wi-Fi were both enabled on all devices as well. So again, the exact same settings the exact same brightness the same tasks were performed and everything was pretty much identical on all devices.
Now, let's take a look at the time-lapse of the battery test what you're looking at here is off for iPhones with a hundred percent battery life draining all the way down to zero from left to right. The iPhone 10 are followed by the iPhone 11 the iPhone 10 s and then the iPhone 11 pro.
The first device to die on this test surprisingly was the iPhone 10 s with a nine hours in 18 minutes of on-screen time so the iPhone tennis was the first device to die followed quickly by the iPhone 10 R which died with 9 hours and 42 minutes of on-screen time then followed by the iPhone 11 with 10 hours and 14 minutes.
The iPhone 11 Pro, however, clearly took the lead with a whopping 17 hours of on-screen time yes 17 hours of on-screen time again. The exact same settings, exact same brightness, Wi-Fi, and same tasks were all performed exactly the same and as you see here the iPhone 11 pro is clearly the winner.
From these numbers, it's clear that you can get anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes of extra on-screen time from the battery of the iPhone 11 versus the iPhone 10 R which is close to Apple's claims but on the iPhone 10 s versus the iPhone 11 this test gave us 7 to 8 hours of extra on-screen time that is insane. Apple is claiming 4 but we managed to get as you see from this test 7 to 8 hours of extra on-screen time specifically eight hours on this particular test for the new iPhone 11 Pro.
This confirms what I've been saying about the iPhone 11 Pro's battery life being phenomenal. As someone who has been using the iPhone 11 Pro max for the past few days, it was released on the 20th and the battery is just incredible. These tests have confirmed that Apple's claim of an extra 4 hours was surpassed by a long shot on the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 was right on the ballpark with apples numbers as well.
Overall, this test has shown that the iPhone 11 Pro is the clear winner when it comes to battery life. Its ability to last for 17 hours of on-screen time is unmatched among its competitors. With these results, I hope you guys have enjoyed these videos, and I'm glad you've found them informative and helpful in your search for a new phone.
