Creating Chocolate Puzzles with Kids: A Fun and Easy Activity
Greetings my lovelies, hi it's Emmy welcome back i apologize for the harsh lighting but the sun has decided to come out right as i film which is great today i shall be eating this and it's called choco de pozoru niban it's a chocolate puzzle and it's the number two so there must be a number one but i have number two and this one is kumachan so we have a bear i've done one of these before and it was a chocolate kind of lollipop this time it's a chocolate bear and it's a puzzle so my son helped me out on this one so let's go in the kitchen and i'll show you what we did okay
To start, you're going to take everything out of the package and this is what you get a couple of trays some strawberry chocolate chocolate some candy beans and a pair of tweezers in a couple of microwave safe bowls. You're going to empty out your chocolates and then you're going to melt them in the microwave for a 500 watt oven. You're going to do that for about a minute so while your chocolate is melting, you're going to empty out the beans into a nice little dish and use the provided tweezers to arrange the beads carefully into the tray. When you're finished the beads should look like this and then just spoon the melted chocolate over the beads being careful not to disturb them.
You can get a little messy here with your chocolate pouring because once the chocolate sets up these pieces just kind of flake off and once your chocolate is filled you can just give the tray a tap to get rid of any air bubbles. Then place your filled chocolate tray in the fridge and let it sit there for at least an hour until the chocolate is completely hard. Here are the little chocolates out of the fridge and they're nice and hard and they're ready to be unmolded, a little push and they should pop out.
There we go so here's the bear's face and bears ears and a little pull and this is the puzzle aspect of that. Then we'll put the star and the heart and here are the eyes and the muzzle, i must say the pieces fit in quite nicely there's the top part of the muzzle and the bear paw and lastly we put in more of these little pink beads and there it is so here's the finished bear.
Just realized i should have made this muzzle portion here dark chocolate or just regular chocolate as opposed to strawberry and then you could see it better but i was doing this with a two and a half year old so that does complicate things a little bit. Anyway, my son had a good time putting it together so it was well worth our time. I must say this came together pretty easily besides a couple air bubbles here and there it actually molded pretty well.
So let's give it a taste super cute all right here we go itadakimasu, it tastes like chocolate cocoa chocolate not the best quality chocolate but it's probably more of like a chocolate bark rather than a real chocolate it's not bad the flavor is okay. Let's try a strawberry star that tastes like strawberry pokey it has the texture of chocolate very melty and rich and very artificially strawberry flavored not bad.
Let's just try a little bead and those just taste like candy and when combined with the chocolate a really fun kind of crunchy texture, i bought this on ebay i'm sure you can find it there or on other online shops as well. And yeah so that's it my son truly loved it so if you've got young kids or little toddlers they probably would like it as well if you don't know already i have another channel going it's called Emmy made and that's where i've been sharing kind of fun kid crafts that i do with my son and little projects and i'm planning on sharing some kid friendly recipes there as well.
Thanks for watching subscribe and like this video and i hope you enjoyed that hope you learned something and i shall see my next one too take care bye
