As I stepped into Hobby Lobby, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. Today was the day I would be taking home some new treasures to add to my holiday decor. With a budget in mind and a list of must-haves, I set out to explore every nook and cranny of the store, searching for the perfect items to enhance my seasonal celebrations.

**Entryway Decor: A Rustic Touch**

For my entryway, I fell in love with a beautiful deer figurine. Standing at an impressive 29.99 dollars, but marked down by 50%, it was an offer I couldn't resist. The store had initially placed the deer in a standing position, which added to its rustic charm, and I just knew it would be a great addition to my entryway. However, upon further inspection, they also offered the deer in a laying-down position, which provided more dimension and visual interest. I decided to go with the laying-down version, as I wanted to create some balance and variety in my decor.

As I wandered through the store, I stumbled upon a delightful train set with Santa Claus that looked like it belonged in a snow globe. going to be like my gingerbread makeover plus i finally got in that item from amazon that i just showed a picture of because it didn't deliver in on time when i did my walmart haul so if you missed that haul i'll link it down below but i actually have the item here today to share with you guys and it is so cute i honestly can't believe the price that's listed on amazon so i'll link it down below um it'll be the first item i show you guys but first i just wanted to like do this haul standing up for some reason so like that's how we're gonna do it um all right so actually change of plans let me show you guys this item real quick because it's like non-holiday i found it at hobby lobby and it looks like this it's like this beautiful vintagey style mirror that they made it just like look aged it's just really pretty and it is like a little tabletop decor piece by no means is this like a mirror that you can you know do your makeup or you know do your hair whatever in front of it's just like a decor piece it was 34.99 but it was 50 off because this week table decor is off if you're new to hobby lobby they switch their sales every week so one week it's table decor the next week it's wall decor and then over and over and over they go so i just saw this piece i was really beautiful i asked my daughter if she would like it because this is definitely up her alley she does a lot of like eclectic style decorating and she loved this piece plus you can even like hang it on the wall so i really like that feature too caught the light there but anyways really pretty find i've never seen it at hobby lobby before so i'm just going to set it over here and now i'm going to show you guys the piece from amazon so i'm just gonna repeat myself in case you didn't catch my walmart haul but i talked about how i found these on amazon i mean how many freaking times am i gonna say that um but they were labeled as yardstakes but i'm not going to use them as yardstakes i'm going to use them in my kitchen because stop it stop it and they didn't they do too so hang on a second let me put this one down and i'm gonna grab this one so we can see them honestly this is like kind of my first time seeing them as well i really just like opened up the box so no they are so freaking adorable if you've been following me for a really long time then you've known that for years i dreamed of doing a gingerbread kitchen and in the last house i think like the second year was it the second year i was in that house i finally like implemented my dream so and i just i'm never gonna stop doing a gingerbread theme in my kitchen it's just oh i just absolutely love it but anyways and then when they arrived i just kind of expected for the steak to like already be like part of it but no look it comes as a separate little piece so this is perfect because i was planning on having to like rip this off of the back because i'm not using them in my yard i'm gonna use them in my kitchen so i'm gonna have to like find a way to kind of like prop them up a little bit i could also buy like a picture frame from dollar tree rip off like the back and then glue it to the back here so that it like creates a little kickstand so i could do that but yeah these two for like 20 something dollars now i will say depending on when you're watching this video the price could change because that's just how amazon works but i bought two sets of these so i have another box in there and they're going by my kitchen window so you know what since we're talking about my kitchen window so what i did was i went back through my uh christmas house tour last year so i can kind of see like what i did what i wanted to do different this year um i would definitely do that like take pictures of like how you style things and then you know like the next year you can kind of like look back um see if there's anything you want to change it's just incredibly helpful plus it's like a visual inventory it's helped me out tremendously but anyways one of the areas that i knew i was going to improve because my kitchen looked a lot different last year like the decor i had by the window so i had like lamps and you know risers so obviously it doesn't look like that this year um so i decided i was gonna do a little tree moment so i got two of these from hobby lobby they are 19.99 but christmas is 50 off so and i like these because they give me like that gingerbread vibe you know they have like little sparkles so i know it's supposed to be snow but for me it kind of like looks like sugar you know like a gingerbread thing i also got it i'm just gonna grab over here i also got it in the smaller version too because they're so thin and i'm just gonna like cluster it around the window and then essentially i'm gonna like you know kind of like do this moment where i'm positioning the little gingerbreads around the trees and honestly i might go back and get a third set i think they had like a like a little goldilocks moment a big one a middle one and a small one so i'm probably gonna go back and get another one or two more so yeah because i have like i'm gonna decorate both sides of the window so a girl gingerbread on one side and a boy gingerbread on the other the other exciting thing that's changing in the kitchen are actually my bar stools so i just got them in i'm looking at them over here i haven't put them together but um my bar stools are going to be completely different and the ones that i'm getting are like wood so i decided to pick up another one of these wreaths they are 12.99 but 50 off and i already own two of these because when i went back through my videos back through my inventory i saw that how i decorated with these two wreaths was by the window i had it on like a riser i did like this thing and then i had a lamp and then next to the lamp was like a nutcracker so and i'm not doing that again this year and i thought i already have two of those i'm gonna have a total of three bar stools that's all that can fit in my island so i just need to pick up one more so i'm gonna hang it on the back of the bar stool and i love this wreath because again it's that for me whenever i see like a sparkly i just immediately translate as gingerbread you know a little sugar detail so got that as well and then i also picked up some more ornaments i'm just kind of honestly i'm kind of you know wondering if i have enough ornaments because i'm also going to be implementing more trees in the kitchen so i said you know what just going to grab a couple more these were 9.99 each but 50 off so like five bucks you can get four of these and i already have these from last year but again like i said i'm adding two new trees and i want the trees all to have like the same ornaments so i just grabbed a couple more of those boxes and then also for the gingerbread theme i got these little gum what do they call well they're called cookie jars officially they were 9.99 but they were 50 off gumball machines that's what i was going for i actually saw this on tick tock so if you watch tik tok and you like watch all the decorating stuff then you might already know about these um and so i did get the white you can see here that's such a cute idea to make them a cookie jar but what i'm thinking about doing for the gingerbread theme is filling it up with some fake snow and then putting like a little mini gingerbread man like on the inside so that's like where i was going i bought two oh my god i i always buy things in in twos like i don't know why i do this but there we go all right so the other thing for the kitchen as well is when i was looking through how i styled the kitchen one of the things that i didn't really like was how flat my decor was i had a lot of gingerbread houses but they were just sitting on the the granite countertops and i thought there needs to be some more like visual appeal to this so what i decided to do is i bought a bunch of these from hobby lobby these were part of table decor they're not like part of christmas so you're gonna find this i don't know if all hobby lobbies are set up the same but it's like the middle section with all of those like glass displays kind of thing you know what i'm talking about um so there are obviously different prices so 17.99 but 50 off this small one was 8.99 but 50 off and i got two the small one of the big and then i got two of this medium size which was 13.99 but 50 off and honestly i would have bought more of the bigger one but this was the only one they had so i might have to go back and get another one or so and i just thought about you know wherever i put gingerbread houses this year i could put them one here and then i could still put one like on the actual granite but that way i'm creating some type of height dimension layering i guess i just think it will look a lot nicer so and i do have a variety of different sized um gingerbread houses so that's why i got all the different sizes of these risers and i think they're really cute too i like a little scalloped trim it definitely has a gingerbread look to it my living room this year so my living room my entryway and my library will all be my plaid theme that's like i guess my main theme i guess you could say the kitchen's gingerbread the media room will be a peppermint candy cane so i just decided again with the ornaments i was like you know i'm decorating a lot of different garland spaces with the plaid so i decided to pick up some more navy ornaments so this was also on my shopping list i needed to pick up some more of this ribbon and i honestly kind of got a little bit nervous because i kept going back and it wasn't there this ribbon is being sold in the ribbon section by the way in case you're interested it's not being sold in the christmas section and it's the one that has the reversible edge with this like green my camera would focus with like the green on the other side but i use the red side and i say this because i actually do get quite a few questions on where i get this ribbon whenever you guys see how i style my staircase so just letting you know where to find this within hobby lobby it was 3.99 but it was 50 off of ribbon this week so ribbon goes on sale the same time as table decor fyi so i got three more of those and all right so for my entryway i picked up another one of these deers and i know it's not plural 29.99 but 50 off and i already hauled two of them but they were standing up so like that's how their body was positioned and it's for the entryway i just really like how beautiful he is very rustic i feel like he just i feel like this just goes really well with plaid like in my mind i don't know you know to each his own but then i went back and they had him in a laying down position so i just thought i'll just get one of these and that way i'm creating you know some more dimension because i do have like two of everything in my entryway two mirrors two lamps and then i was gonna have two of the standing ones you know i feel like adding like that one that's kind of different in the middle will kind of like make it look a little bit more balanced in a way or not balanced i really don't know like how you would think of that you know but anyway so i picked him up for the entryway and then these pieces were actually and pull spies i have no clue what i'm doing with them but when i got them i did think of the living room so let me just show you so the first one's this little train with santa it's like a snow globe it's exactly what it is now this is like just a little button so you will have to like install um batteries so when the battery is running it will like constantly do this how cute is that i just saw and i was like i don't know why it was like one of those like i don't know i just ended up in my cart somehow but i didn't stop there because hobby lobby has a bunch of like you'll see let me show you so then i got this what so beautiful baby jesus and just the whole it's heavy i mean you guys this is a heavy thing like this is really nice and i really like the whole frame of it it's just very like old world and it's just so beautiful and i also love how it lights up that was the other thing i just thought oh my god that's just going to be beautiful at night because if there's anything that like i would say that would just make your home extra magical for the holidays twinkle lights like i'm telling you it's gonna do it so you know what these might be actually cute in my library that's where i might put it all right so i got that one and then i also got this one so at first i thought these were like supposed to kind of hook up to the train thing but no it's just like standalones but it's the little red truck you guys what i guess they're like little mini lanterns and honestly the price kind of surprised me it was 29.99 but 50 off 15 like for how beautiful this is it's just i don't know i really love that and yeah they have more options so i think i might take another look i have to go back wow shocker but i am planning so much decorating for you guys i know a lot of you look forward to it and i definitely don't want to let any of you guys down so i'm really putting in so much effort and thought into each space so that like you just get some really good quality content from me this year and i do have to go back because i need a couple little like garland floral picks for my bedroom if you know how my bedroom's set up i have like this little shelf thing by my nightstand so i'm actually gonna fill it this year with christmas stuff so i need to go back and get that so i'm gonna probably just like see what other ones that they have of these but um okay let me just kind of look around i
