Unboxing the Oppo Find 7: A Closer Look at the Big Brother
Hey guys, it's David from the unlocker dot-com and I'm excited to finally get my hands on the Oppo Find 7, also known as the big brother of the Oppo Find 7a that I had a little while back. Before I dive into the review and start playing with this device, I thought it would be cool to do an unboxing just to give you guys a better idea of what's inside the box.
The first thing that came with my device was this portable charging unit which is 6,000 milliamps and has a USB port on it to help charge your device. It's made by whoever that is, but I'm not sure why it came with my phone since I didn't remember ordering it. Anyway, the portable charger comes with a tiny USB cable, and that's about it for accessories.
Moving on to the box, I ripped off the plastic cover and opened it up upside down of course. Inside, there was another box which got plastic off, revealing another nice box that the other Oppo Find 7a also comes in. When I pulled up this tab, I was presented with my phone, but not just yet. You can lift this up and you're shown the awesome charger that I love on open devices, which is 4.5 amps, about three times stronger than most chargers. The charger has a non-removable cord that ends in a micro USB and comes with another USB cable.
The earbuds that came with my device are kind of uniquely shaped, with a curved back but still fit nicely in the box. They're nice and all that, but I'm not sure why they came with my phone since I don't really use them. The booklet inside the box has all the paperwork that people like us usually don't look at, which includes our battery specifications.
The front of my device shows off a 5.5 inch 2560 by 1440 pixels or 2.5k display. There's an earpiece and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera on top of it, giving you a decent selfie-taking experience. The bezel has capacitive touch buttons at the bottom, which is a nice change from what most manufacturers do.
On the left side of my phone, there's the power button, and on the right side, there are the volume rockers, which is pretty unusual for any smartphone manufacturer to have it this way around. On the back of the device, you'll find our 13 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, giving you some decent photo-taking capabilities.
The Kevlar carbon fiber II looking material on the back is actually kind of nice in the black color, and I'm glad Oppo decided to use it for this design. The phone also has a headphone jack as normal, as well as a microUSB connector at the bottom. If you press the key into that side of the device, you can take off the back to show you the battery which is removable, of course.
That's about it for now, folks. Stay tuned for my review of the Oppo Find 7, coming up soon on this channel.
