Hey there, and welcome to today's video! I've listened to your feedback and your requests, and today I'm excited to produce a PS4 Pro vs Xbox One X comparison video that many of you have been waiting for. This is sort of like the sequel to my Xbox One X versus PS4 video that I made the other day.

One thing you need to keep in mind about this video is that the Xbox will always appear on the right side of your screen, and the PlayStation will always appear on the left side of your screen. If you're into console gaming at all, then you probably already know that the Xbox is the newer, more expensive, and technically more powerful console of the two. The One X's edge and raw power come from a slightly faster CPU at 2.3 gigahertz eight-core AMD versus a 2.1 gigahertz one-core AMD on a PlayStation. The One X has six teraflops of performance versus 4.2 on the PlayStation, and 12 gigs of ram versus eight. The One X also costs $100 more at $500 versus 400 for the PS4 Pro. What really makes this comparison worth doing is that both consoles have differing 4k HDR capabilities.

I can tell you as a person who's sat here in front of the TV running this test and even looking at the split screens and really studying them there are times when it's really hard to tell a difference between the two. There's also times when you can distinguish little subtle nuances or maybe it's not so subtle like you can really tell a difference. Now, before we dive into the video, I just want to throw out my usual disclaimer when I make a video like this that it's really really hard to show what this looks like in real life. You video is not going to do justice to the actual console performance.
