BlackBerry Z30 Unboxing

**BlackBerry Z30 First Look: A Big Screen with All the Right Features**

The BlackBerry Z30 is a new smartphone from the Canadian company, and it's been touted as a big screen phone that still packs all the features of traditional Blackberry devices. We've got our hands on this device, and let's take a closer look at what we can expect.

**Design and Build**

One of the standout features of the BlackBerry Z30 is its large 5-inch AMOLED screen. It's big enough to show off multiple apps at once, making it perfect for multitasking and productivity on the go. The phone itself has a durable design, with a rubberized back that gives it a premium feel in the hand. We also appreciate the attention to detail in the phone's design, from the subtle curves of the edges to the perfectly placed ports.

**Camera Capabilities**

The BlackBerry Z30 comes equipped with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, both capable of capturing high-quality photos. The rear camera is particularly impressive, with its ability to record 1080p video in full HD. We were also pleased to see that the phone features NFC and DLNA capabilities, making it easy to share files and connect to other devices.

**Battery Life**

One of the most promising aspects of the BlackBerry Z30 is its battery life. According to the company, this phone can last up to 18 hours on a single charge, or up to 16 days in standby mode. That's impressive for a smartphone, especially considering the high-quality camera and display.

**Software Features**

The BlackBerry Z30 runs on BB10, an operating system that's designed specifically for Blackberry devices. The software is clean and intuitive, with features like gesture-based navigation and predictive typing. We were also pleased to see that the phone comes pre-loaded with a range of apps, including BBM, which allows users to send private messages and share files with friends.

**Software Update**

The BlackBerry Z30 received a software update shortly after its release, bringing it up to version 10.2.1. This update adds a range of new features, including improved performance and additional security patches.

**Specs and Features**

Here are the specs and features of the BlackBerry Z30:

* Display: 5-inch AMOLED screen

* Camera: 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera

* Battery: Non-removable battery with up to 18 hours of talk time or 16 days of standby mode

* Operating System: BB10

* Processor: Faster processor than previous Blackberry devices

* Storage: Expansion card slot and SIM card slot available

**Conclusion**

The BlackBerry Z30 is a solid choice for anyone looking for a big screen smartphone with all the features they need. While it may not be the most innovative device on the market, its clean software, impressive camera capabilities, and long battery life make it a great option for productivity on the go. We're excited to see how this phone performs in real-world use, and we're confident that it will remain a popular choice among Blackberry fans.

**A Tour of the Phone**

Let's take a closer look at some of the features of the BlackBerry Z30 up close. First, we've got an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera that can shoot high-quality photos and record 1080p video on the go. We also appreciate the attention to detail in the phone's design, from the subtle curves of the edges to the perfectly placed ports.

The front-facing camera is a bit smaller, but still capable of capturing good quality photos and recording 720p video. We've also got an HDMI out port for connecting to external displays, as well as a USB charging port that's both convenient and quick.

**The Battery**

One of the most promising aspects of the BlackBerry Z30 is its battery life. According to the company, this phone can last up to 18 hours on a single charge, or up to 16 days in standby mode. That's impressive for a smartphone, especially considering the high-quality camera and display.

We were able to try and remove the back of the phone, and it took a bit of effort to pry it off. Once removed, we found a non-removable battery that was sealed inside the phone.

**Expansion Card Slot and SIM Card Slot**

The BlackBerry Z30 has expansion card slot and SIM card slot available, which is great news for users who need more storage or want to use different carriers.

We've also got some stock apps that come pre-loaded with the phone, including Blackberry Hub, BBM, and a unified inbox. We'll take a closer look at these features in the next section.

**BlackBerry Hub**

The BlackBerry Hub is a unified inbox that combines all of your email accounts into one place. It's clean, intuitive, and makes it easy to manage multiple email accounts on the go.

We were also pleased to see that the phone comes pre-loaded with BBM, which allows users to send private messages and share files with friends.

**Conclusion**

The BlackBerry Z30 is a solid choice for anyone looking for a big screen smartphone with all the features they need. Its clean software, impressive camera capabilities, and long battery life make it a great option for productivity on the go. We're excited to see how this phone performs in real-world use, and we're confident that it will remain a popular choice among Blackberry fans.

the previous flagship the z10 go ahead open it up take a first look so here is the Z 30 box looking very similar to the unlocked z10 that we saw before it I want to thank our friends at Negri electronics for hooking us up with this guy be sure to check them out for all of your unlocked phone and tablet needs and even selling cameras and lenses now so go ahead and peel off the plastic I serve nondescript big Z 32 the BlackBerry emboss on the side slide that up and then there is the new big black brand does look like a very big phone it's a 5-inch screen they 1280 by 720 resolution to 295 PPI it feels significant it's got a similar back to what we saw on the q10 with that sort of textured sort of faux carbon fiber look push up the side for just a quick second see what else we're going to have in the box we're going to have I think this phone was regional to Hong Kong so I'm guessing this is going to be in mostly Mandarin but we've got power we've got that's pretty nice looking headphones actually curved headphones with the different size of gear buds and then we've got your charging station cable nothing else no sort of POW training in there here's the phone the phone feels really nice the bottom here looks like metal it may actually be metal I just feel real quick comparison here is the z10 see what the size difference here are as well so a 4.2 inch phone - a 5 inch phone that really looks quite nice of course being powered by bb10 I'm speaking of being powered I will turn this guy on and I'll run through the rest of the specs at the Super AMOLED screen as well it's being powered by a pretty nice dual-core 1.7 gigahertz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip with quad-core Adreno 320 GPU the 710 was a 1.5 gigahertz quad-core ship TV can Ram 16 gigs internal storage but that is expandable with a microSD which you can't hot-swap so you can pop in one while using it the back we've got a rear facing camera it's 8 megapixel own that does 1080p video on the your volume up and down and your mute button looks like connectors for potential docks and letting us know that this does come off the battery though that I mentioned is not removable so well you can't remove the back looks like with a little bit of difficulty the phone itself does not feature a removable battery then we could try and get a coin and prop this out so it did take a lot of prying but I did eventually get that back off and we've got a non removable battery but I was right those two spots which I thought were a flap do not come up but that's where your expansion card slot and your SIM card slot are going to live they give you a little bit of specs here five inch your AMOLED screen and the rest of this stuff that we talked about so let's snap this back on it seems very you can just tap it any more information on an app when you're in it you could pull on down we're on the home screen though you get sort of access to your quick settings and that is about it I've got unified search if you want to search for an inbox and of course you've got that awesome predictive Taichi board they're really like as you type words they sort of start to show up and you can swipe them up they're just works really really well and probably my favorite features of any of the BlackBerry phones so this has been a really quick first look at the BlackBerry z30 nothing here has really changed since previous versions of be tenant just on a bigger screen now so you can see more apps on a screen the four icons you can see her apps you have open and art just bigger other than that it's
