How to Grill Pan Cookies _ Recipe

Welcome to Barbecue Fitbys.com: Cooking Up Grill Pan Cookies with Caramel and Whiskey Sauce

I'm excited to share with you today's recipe for grill pan cookies, a twist on the classic caramel chocolate chip cookie. We've been getting a lot of requests from our fans to create something special for kids or girls, and I think we've hit the jackpot with this one. Not only are these cookies easy to make, but they're also perfect for a barbecue or outdoor gathering.

To start, we need to prepare our grill pan. It's essential to have a good pan sheet that can handle high temperatures, so don't skip this step. Now, let's talk about the cookie dough. We're using 2 pounds of chocolate chip cookie dough, which you can buy anywhere or make your own if you prefer. The dough is quite versatile, and we'll be flattening it out to get a thickness of about half an inch.

Next, we need to place the cookie dough on the pan and position it opposite the hot coals in our grill setup for indirect heating. We're running the temperature at 325°F for about 25 minutes. While we wait for the cookies to cook, let's prepare some toppings that will complement our caramel and whiskey sauce.

I've got some bananas here that we'll be using as a health food option. You can cut them up into slices or chunks, depending on your preference. Now, let's talk about our caramel sauce. We're using store-bought caramel pieces, but feel free to make your own if you're feeling adventurous. The caramel is essential for this recipe, and we'll be adding a couple of shots of whiskey to give it an extra kick.

About 10 minutes have passed, and the cookies are starting to set up a bit. We're going to get them nice and crunchy on the outside while keeping the inside soft and chewy. While the cookies continue to cook, let's heat up our caramel pieces and start adding some health food toppings like nuts or seeds. This is an optional step, but it adds a delightful texture to the cookie.

Now that our caramel sauce is melting down, we can add more chocolate chunks on top of the cookies. You can never have too much chocolate in this recipe! The aroma of the caramel and whiskey sauce is starting to fill the air, and I can almost taste the deliciousness that's about to come.

We've reached the final stage of our cookie-making process. About 5 minutes are left before the cookies are done, and we're excited to take them off the grill. Let's pour on some more caramel whiskey sauce and let it melt down into a golden-brown, sticky mess. This is the moment when all the flavors come together in perfect harmony.

The cookie is finally done, and it's time for us to let it rest for at least half an hour before serving. During this time, we can prepare some additional toppings like smoked almonds or chopped nuts. Once the cookies have cooled down a bit, we're ready to indulge in these delicious treats.

And that's it! Our grill pan cookies with caramel and whiskey sauce are finally ready to be devoured. These cookies are perfect for kids and adults alike, and they make an excellent addition to any barbecue or outdoor gathering.
