bedroom is light bright and chic cassie isn't happy about living with her parents so i want to give her a room that has a hotel vibe and have it feel separate from the rest of the house it's actually brighter in here because you don't have your blanket curtain down i let the light come in today but usually i'm in the down mood so it's usually down yeah we all gotta work on giving you a positive place how can you be down wearing such a fatty glass well when i go outside my swag turns up when i come in here i kind of humble down we have to bring some of this style into here that's what i'm praying for project indoor swag indoor squash you weren't kidding about that door in that tape huh yeah i have a temper well how do we stay on your good side do this room right okay what we're standing on is this is uh it's gotten to the point where we just spill things and walk out i have really no words for that i'm kind of embarrassed of this one i put my shades up so you won't see me on this one you don't have any lenses in there all right no no i see another hole in your wall i didn't do that one i think my brother did that one he's a football player he gets mad too is he gonna come around no no no he's not gonna come around today okay good job clearing the room out got it empty this needs to come down yes this is a blanket for my gloomy day so no more gloomy days i see that joey you okay it's not what you dreamed of for your new dresser this is a vintage piece that needs a little love and then it's going to be beautiful i already took off the hardware which look how cool this hardware is because i want to bring in like a little bit of bling in there in order to prep the dresser paint we have to remove all the drawers and the cabinet poles have you ever used an electric sander before actually i haven't first time for everything we're going to use this to kind of just like rough up the surface a little bit because see how there's a finish on this like a lacquer or varnish see you later hall catching holes in drywall is easy all you need is a metal reinforced repair patch kit and some lightweight joint compound spread over the top and you're good to go what's happening with these floors this might be one of the grossest carpets i've ever seen oh yes oh my god a lot of older houses have hardwood floors covered by wall-to-wall carpeting it's time to let these floors breathe again why did they put this hideous carpet on top of these hardwood floors kate's gonna love this what you play basketball yes i'm a bother in more ways than once oh chelsea what a complex lady you are i am oh look at this piece huh i'm pretty good can i steal kate for a second oh sure keep on sanding i sure will you fix the hole yeah yeah get ready for this what boom oh oh ow sorry i am so thrilled that there are hardwood floors under that carpet which will go way better with my hotel luxe design scheme there's some carpet glue spots on the wood so i'm gonna use a scraper to gently get those off without damaging the floor i'm first pulling up the carpet and lining then removing the tack boards that line the perimeter of the room the door that cassie beat up is so beyond repair that i meant to take it down and put up a brand new door i'm just gonna punch it off third time's the charm fair premium plus paint and it's got the primer built in oh okay and your true to hue color is cloudy skies all right pour it in all this gorgeous vintage dresser needs is a coat of paint and it will provide much needed storage for cassie's bedroom no more plastic bins oh it's sliding and you're very forceful painter there we go oh yeah that looks much better gentle technique not aggressive no temper i have to get my feminine side in here the store-bought door is a little
