best magsafe accessories available so far now magsafe has come a long way when apple launched the iphone 12 series the entire series 12 mini 12 12 pro and 12 pro max they all included support for magsafe so maxi did a few things uh basically it was a new connectivity stand that allowed you to attach things to the back of your phone batteries cases wallets mounts all sorts of different stuff so it was a magnet that you could connect all those things with at the same time it could also allow for charging so if you charge it via a magsafe charger you can get up to 15 watts of power through that versus chi which is still capped off at seven and a half watts so you get pretty much twice as fast maximum charging on the iphone 12 line a lot of really cool stuff but as apple dropped it with the iphone 12 line none of the accessory makers really knew what's up only a couple had an idea working exclusively with apple but it took everyone else a little while to play ketchup so here we are inside of 2021 and we are finally getting some awesome mag safe accessories hitting the market so let's go ahead and talk about my favorite ones in this video i've got six things that i want to talk about today six different accessories or genres of accessories that i want to show off starting off with the magsafe chargers of choice right now these are literally the only ones available on the market and it is these two guys from belkin so we have the boost charge pro and then we have a two in one as well as a three in one these things are fabulous so the three in one here has a magsafe charger on one side as well as an apple watch charger on the other side then the bottom is a qi charger so you can put your apple watch on one side your iphone there your airpods here at the bottom and best of all because of magsafe this thing can rotate around so you can use it sideways if you want to watch a video on here or put it straight anything like that so i love the magsafe charging there plus apple watch and airpods and if you don't have an apple watch you can go for the two in one instead which just drops the apple watch charger but still gives you magsafe and the qi charger at the bottom these things are amazing these are some of my favorite chargers right now and like i said these are the only ones that are on the market they worked exclusively with apple to develop these and showed them off kind of uh at the launch as well as at ces and these are still some of the best ones that you can get so i love these things you don't have to use a max a puck in some weird stand they're just great so if you want a magsafe charger this is the best ones you can do up next on the list is cases cases have taken a little while to come out because everyone dropped and released their cases with the iphone 12s but no one had magsafe in them at launch so we had to wait for everyone to basically release a new version of their cases and i've gotten a few of them here in the studio so far and more continuing to launch so a couple that i don't have yet i guess the main one that i don't have is mouse mouse just announced its new um mac safe enabled version of its limitless cases so when i get that i'll be excited to share with you but for right now i don't have it so that's one to look at other ones to check out these guys here are from casely these guys are solid these have really nice bumpers around the front and i like their patterns they're very cool cases and they can skew more feminine a lot of the designs are more feminine so if there's you don't want a leather one or something like that these are a good one to check out but again they've been updated to include magsafe support now if you don't have an actual magsafe case a lot of accessories aren't going to work you're not going to get that full charging speed you're not going to be able to work with stands like those belkin ones we looked at so it's important to have a magsafe case or in fact any of the other access you're going to look at wallets mounts all that are just not going to work unless you have mag safe actually embedded in the case that you're using we have some from moment this is the one that i prefer this is actually my daily driver this is my phone and this is what i use uh we'll show off another one in a minute that has a walnut back to it that's really cool so these guys from moment have been updated and what's great about great about the moment cases is they support their lenses too so this little part here around the camera that can actually come out and you can swap it with the lens mount version the bayonet system and you take any moment lenses you just put them on there and twist and boom i just attached a uh whatever this is an 18 millimeter wide angle lens to my wide angle lens on here you can add a 58 millimeter tele lens they've got you know anamorphic lenses these things are all freaking awesome and i love how easy it is just to attach them on there and all you have to do is use one of their cases with that mounting system so magsafe plus mounts these are awesome cases so we got those from moment there moving on of course if the apple ones we have to mention these apple has both silicone ones as well as leather ones the leather ones are the ones that i prefer uh you can see by the mag saving the inside they have magsafe and these are probably some of the best ones you're gonna get just because they're first party they're from apple so you know they're gonna work very well uh finally i guess not finally but almost finally we have some from nomad noah has a few they have their standard cases their rugged cases updated with magsafe you can see the ring on the inside lets you know comes in both black and brown but they also have a folio out there i like this is pretty much the only folio that i have seen that includes max a support so you have the actual folio aspect and then magsafe included on the back so you can use any additional massive accessories mounts blah blah with this case so couple there from nomad and then lastly we have uh otterbox otterbox has several cases that they actually launched with these alongside the new iphone these uh otterbox was one of the few companies that worked with apple on developing launch day accessories for the iphone 12 series so they do have several that have that support built in there and they're going to give you the same awesome connectivity so otterbox our last one there so several max 8 cases for you guys to check out moving along magsafe wallets we have three of them for you guys to consider so the first up the one you probably have seen i've already done a video on and that is apple's own magsafe wallet it is leather there is a little slot in the back that allows you to remove whatever cards you have in there to hold probably two cards apple logo on there beep a very nice elegant solution so of course i mean apple is going to be the first party option if you want to go with them this is what you got but they're not the only option at this point there are a few other ones now launching we have this one this is going to be your high-end fashion model uh coming to lab a day it uses uh all italian there's exotic leathers it's super nice very sl slim and what apple didn't do they put this like micro suction material on the back which makes it a little bit tacky so you can just wash this off at any time if it gets dusty but it just holds on a bit better than apple's own so i really like this especially on a case that's more flat this has like grooves in it but on the back of the phone itself or to any other cases this holds on super well so this is more like a italian high fashion option it's quite a bit more expensive than the other two but more fashionable there's again like python and croc leathers stuff like that that you can consider so we have that one then finally we have one from moft so moft is very cool because not only are you getting a wallet so it'll hold a few cards but it pops down and you can use it as a stand see that guy get this in video yeah right there it works a little bit better on the smaller phones because this is a little bit more top heavy on the 12 pro max up it'll work in landscape too so you can go watch some ted lasso and also just a grip on the back of your phone gives you a little bit more hold onto the phone while you're using it so that is the moft wallet so you have three mag safe enabled wallets lab day mott and of course apples so what about in the car well two options for you you have the belkin vent mount pro what's nice about this guy is a little bit larger has the alignment magnet on the bottom which helps it stay in place it doesn't rotate at all and then on the back it has an adjustment part so you can actually twist this around to get the right angle so depending on how it's in your car it can really fit the right way and this can rotate depending on which way your grooves are now even vertical slats still doesn't work super well with this vent mount but it is more adjustable than our other option which is the one from moment now we find moment is actually very tight on there it fits very nicely but if it's really close up now if you events that support this this is my preferred solution i do like this better than the belkin one because it sits a little bit closer a little bit tighter and it looks nicer i don't like the bright white in my car uh this also has cable management so there's actually a little groove around the back you just wrap your wires boom good to go so there's cable management as well as a vent mount both the supporting mag safe this has a little bit more grip to it between the silicone pad and the stronger magnets so this is my one of choice but both of these are solid options if you want a magsafe holder for your iphone in the car finally we have a various tripod mount from moment so these things are all bloody fantastic i mean so right now this is a shoulder pod rig it's very handy it's got a wood handle on there it's got a strap so you can put your hand in here while shooting really nice to have but before you have to use actual clip to hold your iphone on boom just comes right off so the part that we're talking about specifically is this guy right here right at the top that's the moment mount so it has a cold shoe on the top and tripod thread at the bottom take end of your phone this is the other moment case by the way and it just sits right there holds on to it magnetically fits well doesn't go anywhere super reliable super steady so this is a great one to have whether you're using it with a shoulder pod or using with a regular tripod put a regular tripod mount on there and stick it on any tripod that you've got around so this is just so nice to have they have other ones here so this guy we take this part off the top this is just the cold shoe mount so just this part here you attach whatever you want on the top it could be a microphone could be a ring light in this case it's a loom cube then you take your iphone and you connect that there now you've got this little lighting rig for you so it can be facing forward with your shooting or turn it around and use it towards yourself as you're taking a facetime call so that's just a little cold shoe mount that uses magsafe to connect and then lastly they offer a larger one so this can work in both portrait and landscape so you have the rig on the side there connects that way and a tripod mount on the bottom and then if you're using it horizontally you can loosen that up move the cold shoe to the top and then slap your phone on that way so it gives you both options to mount your phone with magsafe all these tripod mounts for moment are absolutely fantastic these may be my favorite uh magazine accessory that has launched so far and they have several they have these three they have a wall mount we already looked at the car mount too so a lots of different photography creator oriented accessories from moment that use magsafe so that's it these are my favorite must-have accessories for magsafe for iphone 12. if
