**The Mr2's Evolution: A Tale of Transformation**

Yes, sir! And this is a K20 A2 head on this time right? Yep, yeah we have the different head on here now so so yeah we're making the same power like we're doing good so this is just the stock port head with the Foray of Altrain in it and ready to go. That would be awesome, works good, oh yeah she sounds healthy! I'm about to take her for a quick cruise on the way home, I'm gonna do my best to break her in some more as well. Yeah, seems like that's what I told them, the best thing you could do is go drive this thing just put some miles on it get that engine all happy and then let's really put the screws to it see what 50 pounds does do.

This thing on 50 pounds holy crap yeah we can't do it right away to keep the nose down but as we go I got I got something for the front coming so we'll see if we can plug that in and make it work. It's not a big secret, I ordered a laser height sensor for the front so so as it pulls the front end up it'll start pulling some timing just to try to just keep her hovering yeah it goes too high he'll pull some power back and keep it from doing some crazy wheelies so if we combine that with some extra weight on the front and kind of dial it in I think we can really get her flying. I do too because even your 9-0 you were letting off dude, the 9-0 was it 150 or 151? Because it missed it, blipped fourth, it's gonna do it yeah! I'm excited to see it, I'm already proud of her, she's like me too even as it sits, it's like the fourth fastest in the world right now, something like that, fourth or fifth place. It's up there, yeah! It's really good, really fun, I'm proud of how far this car has come.

We could definitely turn it up and make more power but we need to get the chassis and everything dialed in so there's really no point just to crank it up on the dyno. I want to make sure it's leaving good and everything and then we can slowly start adding boost next time we take it to the track and stuff. So, this is going to be a good starting point for us once again! It's back to where it was, and I am super pumped! I can also confirm that the strain gauge is working perfectly as the drive on the way back, let me know that and I can only imagine what this thing will feel like actually revving it out. I was short shifting it on the way over here but it honestly scares me; I don't know how many of my other cars actually give me the kind of feeling this thing does on the street.

This is the only one that I can say like it genuinely scares me on the street, how fast this thing is and uh yeah it's a monster. tried to get taco bell didn't work out so well because we lost a bolt for the shifter found it on the side of the road and other than that it's pretty much ready to be put onto the dyno uh i broke the motor in pretty good it's already had an oil change and right now i'm just getting ready to put the radials back on this thing because i don't want to dyno it on the tiny little stock tires so uh yeah just got these mounted up today and i'm gonna go ahead and jack this thing up get the radials on there and she should be ready for the dyno i drove it around yesterday as well got into boost and she's she feels good boys so um yeah honestly i don't even think the tune needs that much adjustment i just want to make sure that the power still where it's at make sure everything's looking good have brent just hopefully do a one-and-done pull on it you know if it's up in the 900s even hits a thousand first hit then we'll probably leave her there and start doing some more testing on this thing because there's no reason for us to go for crazy dyno numbers right here even though we do have the aluminum rod motor now and we could probably crank it up a little bit more i want to get the chassis a little more dialed in before we just go for crazy horsepower numbers we still have the issues with the wheelies at the track anyways uh but yeah let's go ahead and get these radials on and uh get to it all right i just got the radials put back onto the mr2 and she is looking mean again looks so much better than the stock wheels and tires it actually looks like a complete car again went ahead and wiped her down a little bit as well there she is boys mr2 is all the way back together and she is just about ready for the dyno and then if you guys are wondering why the s14 is on the lift right now it is because i actually need to pull the engine and transmission out of this thing to get some measurements for the clutch because still waiting on the clutch or else honestly this thing probably would have been done by now i was getting ready to just knock it out right away but the clutch has been a setback but i got it in the air and i also made this little bar right here to connect the uh spindles together because pushing this thing around on the ground sucked uh each tire would just kind of go whatever direction it wanted to because there's no steering rack i just took this square tube and welded some bolts on the end of it to uh tie those guys together so now at least we can push it around a lot easier but yeah that needs to come out that will be happening probably like tomorrow or something but uh for today we're gonna go ahead and get the mr2 on the dyno the ripping mr2 all right perfect that looks great bro good job straight up yeah yeah yeah yeah let me just give last couple days and uh it was cranking that's for sure yeah so we're doing a little saturday with the boys in the mr2 rip that's it on the dyno just hanging out chilling yep so we'll see right where she's at warmed up here we go mr2's back on the dyno with the new engine setup a little nervous right now i was driving around the street yesterday though and it felt good so i think she's going to be a ripper wow it's good 1023. 1023 1023 first hit it smoked that tire a little bit it was rubbing that's what i'm smelling yeah the tire was rubbing a little bit i was like what if i smell it whoa that was thick one and done made a thousand twenty three i think it was only 30 pounds too i'm 30 pounds oh yeah there it is guys first rip 1023 on the new engine yeah this side's a little lower so it was just barely rubbing i uh strapped it to the control arm in like this rear k-member deal before if we if we go to these hooks right here it hugs the body down way too low and it rubs even worse but it still rubbed just a little bit there when she squatted up dang i knew it felt good on the street no joke it was real linear too like the boost out came in it wasn't like just slam you down either so hell yeah dude we're good hell yeah yeah it looks really good so that's it i mean it's good to go it's good to go so we revved it to 9700 97 yep and it made 34 pounds at the very peak but look it was pretty like as we came in it was 31 32 30 and 34 just that last little bit from 9 000 up i feel like the power band looks a little better too it stood up faster and carried a little better before it was more like it was lazier here i feel like and it peaked later i feel like it stood up a lot better right there yeah the whole car just feels like like it just felt like nothing i mean it's awesome it's not even trying yeah it was just like a stroll in the park sounds good back there sounds real good yeah would you 1023 yeah quick little four digits first pull yep oh yes i said it might be a one and done rib it felt pretty good i haven't even got in it on the street because it scares me like this feels gnarly yeah that would be gnarly on the street you start getting some tunnel vision and i have it just like light up like that for spools it wasn't like nothing oh it there's really not much more to it guys that's it thousand horse real quick that's ready to go yeah she's ready to rip it's all back together just how it was except now it has an aluminum rod motor yeah the throttle spots too it's just yeah it revs so much faster because the rotating assembly is way lighter with those to care anymore yeah it doesn't this yeah this turbo after sitting on the ground forever it idle it wouldn't even spin but oh yeah she freed right up it spins good now yeah just had to get some oil and heat through it after sitting for so long or something well we got the mr2 one strap from the dyno we only needed one pool did 1023 one and done and uh no dyno session is complete without a little
