The App That Helps You Get the Perfect Popcorn: A Review of The Perfect Pop by Pop Secret

I'm Joshua Smith and welcome to another episode of my appraisal series, where I put various apps to the test to see if they live up to their promises. Just the other day, I was online and saw an ad for an app called The Perfect Pop by Pop Secret, which claims to help you get the perfect bag of popcorn every time. I couldn't help but wonder if it really works, so today I'm putting this app to the test.

The Perfect Pop by Pop Secret is definitely one of the most interesting apps I've ever used. It's promoted as a way to save you from burning your popcorn, and it claims to have inside the B Vision technology that makes it work. The app is easy to use, with no reason not to give it a try. So, of course, I had to grab a bag of popcorn and see if it would really deliver.

According to the app's instructions tab, you can easily find out how to use it. It says that it only works on Pop Secret bags, and you can even toggle between regular size bags and snack bag sizes from the main menu. From here, all you have to do is place the bag in the microwave and follow the bag's instructions for the appropriate time. I put it in for a little bit longer than recommended just to see if the app would really listen and catch it.

As I started the microwave, the app said to turn up the volume on my device and hold my phone about 3 feet away from the microwave to get the best results. And then, something interesting happened - fun facts filled the screen as my bag heated up, keeping me entertained while my popcorn popped. But what really surprised me was that as soon as the bag started popping, the app's screen did too, marking the progress of the popcorn in real-time.

I was impressed by how well the app worked. As soon as I was alerted to stop the microwave, I had the option to share with friends and even pop another bag. And when I finally got a picture perfect bowl of popcorn, easily, I knew that this app was something special. That's why The Perfect Pop by Pop Secret earns five out of five stars - it did what it was supposed to do, and I couldn't be happier.
