**The TechClust T50 HD Tablet Review**
As I held the TechClust T50 HD tablet in my hands, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. It's not that it's a bad device, but more so because of its limitations. The first thing I noticed was its weight, which is quite heavy for a tablet of this size. However, as I started using it, I realized that the weight wasn't an issue at all. In fact, the device handles PDF files with ease, and scrolling through them at normal reading paces is smooth and problem-free.
I also checked out the screen quality, which is decent but not exceptional. The 1200p screen does a good job of displaying content, and while I did notice some shadowing and uneven whites on the corner, it's nothing that would detract from your overall viewing experience. IPS panels are notorious for their uneven color representation, but in this case, the techClust T50 HD doesn't seem to suffer too much from it.
One of the features that caught my attention was the ability to invert text. This is a useful feature for those who prefer reading in a black-on-white format, as it can be easier on the eyes. I also took note of the accelerometer, which is built into the device and works smoothly. It's not lightning-fast by any means, but I didn't experience any significant lag or slowdown during my testing.
Moving on to gaming performance, I was disappointed to say the least. The chipset is simply too low-end for a tablet that's trying to compete with the likes of gaming devices. Even at its lowest settings, the device struggled with frame drops and lag, making it feel frustrating to use. As someone who values smooth gaming experiences, I would not recommend this tablet for anyone.
However, there are some positives to be found in the techClust T50 HD. The battery life is good, and charging time isn't too long. The build quality is also commendable, with a solid feel that suggests this device will withstand regular use. The screen may not be perfect, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for an affordable tablet.
One feature that I did appreciate was the inclusion of FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack. These are features that many budget tablets overlook, but techClust included them in a thoughtful way. And while the speakers may not be exceptional, they're at least adequate for casual use.
Finally, there's the software performance to consider. While I did experience some slowdown and lag, most apps like Chrome and YouTube ran smoothly without any issues. The device even supports 4G connectivity, which is a nice touch for those who need it.
In conclusion, the techClust T50 HD tablet has its strengths and weaknesses. While it's not perfect, it's a solid device that serves its purpose well - browsing, media consumption, and general use. However, for gamers or anyone who values smooth performance, this device is a hard sell. The chipset just isn't powerful enough to deliver the experience they're looking for.
That being said, if you're in the market for an affordable tablet that's good at what it does, the techClust T50 HD might be worth considering. Just don't expect it to blow you away with its performance or features.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enit has been a while since I've covered a more affordable tablet or just tablets in general but te claster is back with a model here that's called the t50 HD now this model is running Android 14 which is good however the chipset is old it's very lowend and not powerful at all it is the unisoc T600 and6 I've covered it a few years ago and the gaming performance as you see later on is a little disappointing so that said if you're a gamer then this probably is definitely not the tablet for you however for light tasks its octacore chipset does okay and I'll be covering that in this review here of this particular model it has an 8,000 Mah hour battery we've got FM radio Hardware support micro SD support Sim support So 4G with it and the 3.5 mm mm headphone jack is a rarity nowadays then inside the box with lt50 HD will find a type c to type a charging cable the charge is very small but it is only 10 wats and I'll let you know the exact charging time that I can get but a bit of a warning it is pretty slow our warranty card and user manual design wise teast has decided to copy really what other brands are doing now try and make the camera look like it's more important than it really is 13 megapixel camera and I believe it's just a 2 megapixel for portrait shots and they call it an AI dual camera of course you got to put the AI marketing on everything nowadays now the back here is made out of an alloy we're looking at 530 G and it does have this protect over it so you do need to pull that off which I'll do now so that's just covering it to stop any scratches once that's gone we've got this quite fingerprint prone back here but it is unibody and it does feel pretty good so that 530 g means that in hand year it's not bad the weight of it at all and just like what we've seen with te class before they do apply a screen protector to it so that the first layer you take that off and then you have the protection there now the Green Glass that they normally use is not scratch resistant it's just like normal soda lime glass so that is why it already comes with a pre-applied screen protector and they do a very good job of it so there's no dust underneath this there's no a bubbles if I tried to put it on myself it certainly would not look this good so the camera here this one's 8 Maps thickness wise it is good 7.8 mm we've got some buttons here that to me feel like they are plastic power on volume up and down microphone antenna line and down the bottom there looks to be well there is another microphone right here and a little hard to see but just here on the corner is our 3.5 mm headphone jack so yes they do include that here you can see it now a lot better we've got our speaker there's two of those type c it's just USB 2p speeed so transfers will be slow and for an affordable tablet I did expect this and then this is one of the good things about this particular tablet is the SIM tray here does take dual SIM and if you want you can put a micro SD card in this up to 1 tab it does work so great to see this and then the micro SD card support with a 4G motor and the other side you're just going to see this the other loudspeaker now the green bezels they are nothing amazing but not too bad again for an affordable tablet I wouldn't expect to have ultra slim premium kind of bezels so the resolution is 1920 by 1200 the screen I've seen a lot of and it is 11in screen it's IPS it's fully laminated so there's no ugly gap between the glass here and then the digitizer over the top of it and brightness well it tops out at 272 nits so it's not amazingly bright but for indoors right now I've got it set just over 50% and you can see well it's power overpowering my camera settings just a little now those lines you see right now I'm not doing a good job of capturing this too well the screen protector that's already pre-applied isn't really helping too much but it is a good screen I don't mind the screen at all and again it's good to see that it's fully laminated and what I've noticed though however is the UI here which yes is built off Android 14 stock Android feels a little slow you can definitely see the lag in the UI thankfully the applications don't seem so laggy like this now it is that uniso chip that I talked about in the intro yet again this is disappointing that we do have the T600 and6 it's got eight cores it is quite slow now and you see from the performance scores that I'm going to show you with benchmarks that it's certainly not a Powerhouse at all 6 GB of physical RAM and another 8 for cing that you can dedicate it is a stock Android 14 so there is no blow Weare PC mark this is something I installed myself Hardware FM radio on board but you do need to plug in a headset for that to work because it acts as the areial we used to get this a lot and the 4G that is working I can confirm so this is a positive here and there is GPS on board so it does offer a lot considering the price point and now you can see performance this is now at 60 hzz and 60 frames per second so it doesn't feel or slow like the UI the UI to me clearly needs some optimization and even though it is pretty stock it's just lacking that aspect of it that it should be a lot more fluid than it really is so 256 GB of free storage we get with this and you'll see here that battery life is definitely the strength and probably one of the best things about this particular tablet lt50 HD is that it can go for a very long time on a single charge the chipset AIDS in this because it's not powerful it doesn't have that power to really burn up and use that battery quickly so it's more the screen it's always the screen anyway that is the biggest power user here over 13 hours this is an excellent score however charge time uh very slow here this is when I first started to charge and you can see here that when I timed the final charge when it got up to uh the 100% here took 294 minutes yes that is a very long time to charge there an 8,000 mAh battery although according to this the actual capacity is a little bit less because this is the claimed typical and that's what always happens it's sometimes a little bit less than that so very long to charge there it's definitely one of those tablets that you want to plug in overnight to fully charge it and that way you get a day's use out of it especially with that really good battery life that we do have now when I pull down the toggles here you don't normally see any lag either I just wanted to turn that brightness down a little bit you can see here that with 22 very low score yes this is definit low end not even mid-range but low end not even making here 300,000 points with B 22 the weakness is that GPU it really is not powerful at all it really does struggle and I'll show you that with gaming too soon the internal storage not bad again for an affordable tablet getting over 1,000 Mega per second reads and almost 1,000 with all sequential rights there and very good Random Access didn't expect this so they used a decent storage on this ufs 2.0 or 2.2 sorry so that's not too bad now Wildlife extreme tests it shows just how slow it is not even reaching even 1,000 points it just gets a 118 and it only loses 5 Points so stability wise throttling doesn't really throttle again it just doesn't have the power to throttle to generate enough heat to end up having to throttle itself down so that is clearly the weakness of this particular tablet is for gamers out there this really isn't the tablet to go for but for your general kind of tasks and things it's not bad now you can see that animation going into the UI this is a game where it starts to feel a little sluggy something's going on here it's sluggish it's definitely not 60 frames per second now we do have this at the bottom here which is our Dock and if I decided that I want genin impact to go down here oh I can't do it even though we're using a tablet it only allows four slots there for your quick launching from the dock which is a little disappointing we've got this here that can be removed if you want to get rid of that widget so they haven't forced us to have some ugly widget on the screen or anything which is good and yes you could use Nova Launcher if you want a third party launcher just to make things a little bit smoother but I'm reviewing as I always do in my videos the tablet just completely stock with its stock launcher of course well it certainly is not a Powerhouse of a tablet PDF files this one's a pretty heavy one it handles just fine you can see as I scroll through at normal reading Paces it's really not going to be a problem and even just with a 1200p screen it does look good and you do see a little bit with that screen some shadowing not quite uniform whites on the corner typical IPS traits here you're going to see a bit of that um but it's overall I don't think a bad IPS panel that te class does have in our t50 HD so for ebooks perfectly fine they're going to look good too as well just quickly show you one you can of course invert the text if you prefer to be looking at a black background and then the white text which is a little easier on your eyes you can do that accelerometer is built in there and it is working just fine it won't always be the quickest but I haven't really had any issues with it at all and you can see the text is sharp enough that it's not really going to strain or stress out your eyes gaming performance is is as I expected for such a low and 22 score that it's a little laggy so when I'm fighting some enemies here it's choppy when I look around the map it is definitely dropping frames feels a little bit laggy here and it does kind of make the experience feel a little bit well frustrating to be honest here with those drop frames and it's on the lowest possible settings so there's no way I can speed this up there's no tricks here to try make make it perform any better so it's a tablet that I can't recommend for gaming and for gamers out there you're better off getting something that has a lot more power than this so this tablet does have a 3.5 mm headphone jacket does have FM radio on board Hardware FM radio that's good so we got the speakers either side what do they sound like well pretty average they're okay considering the price of it it's nothing amazing but I'll give you a sample here of some uh NCS Tunes from YouTube YouTube performance by the way too is fine no problems with that and I'll play this at a 100%volume welcome to the age ofcytic so recapping now the t50 HD from Tech clust is a tablet that I can see is really just for your browsing and media consumption kind of stuff all right so that's just YouTube does run well on it Chrome runs fine it is smooth ebooks are fine PDF files things like that but when it comes to gaming no not with this chipset this chipset is simply just too lowend it doesn't have good power now there are some other things out of this tablet that aren't all negative there are some positives like battery life is good uh the charge time not that took a very long time to charge that's a little slow but the build is good the screen is not a bad screen that I've seen many times before for an affordable tablet and the UI per performance well as I mentioned before that it's a little sluggish it is not the best there's a bit of slowdown clearly and that is not running 60 frames per second at all I don't know why probably just needs more optimization because Normal apps like Chrome and YouTube is smooth there and we do get the 4G support FM radio which is good to have and a 3.5 mm headphone jack and even the micro SD card support all fantastic but what it all boils down to is a very disappoint pointing chipset selection that teass went for that uniso t66 it's simply not good enough I feel especially now in 2024 so that's a full story and really all you need to know there of the tick clast t50 HD thanks a lot for watching\n"
