Las Vegas USED PARTS hunting! - HW Hunting Ep.4 ft. KristoferYee
**The Vegas Trip and Tech Upgrades**
I recently returned from an amazing trip to Vegas, where I managed to snag some incredible tech deals that are going to upgrade my home lab. First up, I picked up a wet bench, which is perfect for testing and repairing electronics. This thing is going to be a game-changer for me, allowing me to work on complex projects with ease. The wet bench features a bunch of useful components, including a 850 watt raid max power supply, an Antec thousand watt unit (which I'll be upgrading from), and some other goodies that I'm excited to get started with.
One of the highlights of my trip was meeting up with Chris, who hooked me up with some fantastic deals on used parts. We chatted for a bit about our shared love of tech and had a great time catching up. Chris sent me off with some awesome upgrades, including an Arc 560 GPU and some other goodies that I'm looking forward to using in my tests.
**The Practice Wet Bench**
I'm thrilled to finally set up my new practice wet bench, which is going to be a perfect addition to my home lab. This thing looks way better than any of the DIY solutions I've used in the past, and it's got everything I need to test out new components and projects. The build features a AZ 620 motherboard from an HP Z Well 620 workstation, which gives me 64 gigs of ECC server RAM and a solid Xeon E5 1624 core with 8 threads. It also comes equipped with a GTX 460 Hyper 212 cooler and a thousand watt tech power supply (which I'll be upgrading to the Rosewill Quark Power Supply 80 Plus Platinum).
One of my favorite features of this build is how easy it is to swap out components, making it perfect for testing new parts and experimenting with different configurations. The setup also comes with a gig SSD and a one terabyte drive, which gives me plenty of storage space for all my projects. Overall, I'm absolutely stoked with how this thing turned out – it's going to make my life as a tech enthusiast so much easier.
**Setting Up the Practice Wet Bench**
I've been excited to set up my practice wet bench and get started on some projects. To start, I transferred over the drives from my old build and hooked up the Rosewill Quark Power Supply 80 Plus Platinum (which should make this thing really quiet). I also cleaned up the wiring for the GPU using Chris's X 560 that he sent me, which is looking pretty sweet so far. There are still a few things to do before everything is fully set up – including hooking up some other cables and making sure everything is running smoothly.
**Thoughts on the Practice Wet Bench**
I've been thinking about my practice wet bench and whether or not it's something that tech enthusiasts would be interested in picking up. From what I can tell, this thing is going to be a real game-changer for anyone who wants to test out new components or work on complex projects at home. The build quality is top-notch, and the components are all high-quality stuff that will last a long time.
If you're a tech enthusiast looking for a reliable and efficient way to test out new parts, I think this wet bench would be an excellent addition to your toolkit. It's definitely worth checking out if you're interested in learning more – links to more information are in the description down below.

wanted one of these 60 bucks for this so awesome and then to go with it to clean up now because I don't want wires everywhere the graphs card that I used my test bench right now has two six pins going to it it's kind of ugly the way it pops out I'm going to stick this rx 460 anyways rx 460 20 bucks I think it was actually it's a 5/16 rx5 16 enders whatever the case is 20 bucks 60 bucks this is awesome deal there's a handful of other things like G 45 60 some Ram the graphics card set 50 T is 960 s a few things that I was so sure about at the moment with what I have going on but a wet bench and a graphics card to clean up my test bench station my secondary station I think is gonna do really well for my setup I can't tell you how glad I am that I made it out to Vegas and got some of this stuff so can the person say hello very loudly for me all right that's it let's get back out there oh one more thing at the last second I added this one 850 watt raid max oh sorry Rosewill quark power supply 80 plus platinum this will go great in the practice wet bench because the power supply I have at home is too tall it's this weird Antec thousand want unit that's too tall to fit in anything so wouldn't fit in the wet bench now I got this guy soon we make things a cool hundred bucks actually yeah yeah two years tuck off gonna Chris look at that getting serious Oh and so the Vegas trip is over and well it's time to get back to work let's record some content here thank you Chris REE for selling me that stuff that practice wet bench is gonna be nice upgrade from my previous DIY his hero dollar case mod test bench wet if you guys want to see more on this stuff or something you guys wanted to do i've been linked right up here we have a video on it as well it'll probably just get data moved over as a secondary test bench which is perfectly fine because i guess the more the merrier when it comes to this the more that i testings cool no but as a primary the test bench the practice wet bench that is that is gonna look good sitting here if it's ever in any other shots so i guess let's get to it but first much better yeah and here it is one more time this is AZ 620 motherboard out of an HP z well 620 workstation it's got 64 gigs of ECC server RAM GTX 460 hyper 212 cooler xeon e5 1624 core 8 thread a thousand watt and tech power supply fox will give gig SSD and a one terabyte drive so i like to use this to test things here and there obviously open air test bench but as the test bench swapping out motherboards is super easy as well so just throwing stuff on there with used parts and you some other boards that i purchase and anything else that i get in for testing makes everything really easy and the practice what bench is going to make it look good as well as making it look easy this thing you guys met agree isn't exactly a looker and there we have it well it's not fully set up a soft some things to do like transfer over a power supply or rather put that Roseville 1 in and transfer over the drives although I cleaned up the wiring for the GPU by using Christopher years or X 560 that he sent me so maybe doing some content on on on an arc 560 pretty soon as a result but man does this look much nicer and cleaner at least this early on we'll see what what it looks like with all the cables and stuff hooked up to it but I think it'll be a lot more professional-looking pretty slick-looking solution overall and there we have it practice wet bench partially set up but I got a say already in the background at least in this shot possibly other shots that looks way better what do you guys think what do you guys think about the practice wet bench itself as a test bench is it something that you guys would have liked is it something to any of you guys want to pick up I know there's some other tech guys that watch these videos so I'm pretty sure something like that would be something that would be useful for for you guys so if you guys wanted to check more out on that I guess I'll leave a link in the description down below yeah really happy with that in the way that it looks that's just so cool all right well great Vegas trip picked up
