iOS 7.1 Beta 3: A Breakdown of the Latest Update

The latest update to iOS 7.1, beta 3, has finally arrived, and with it comes a slew of changes and bug fixes. As expected, there's no dramatic overhaul of the user interface or new features being added, but rather a focus on squashing some of the most annoying issues that users have been experiencing.

One of the most significant updates in iOS 7.1 beta 3 is the fix for the 3D touch stutter issue. For months now, users have been complaining about a slight delay when using 3D Touch on any icon. This issue has been a thorn in the side of many iPhone and iPad users, and it's finally been addressed in this latest update. According to Apple, this update should resolve the issue completely, and we can see no evidence of stuttering when 3D Touching any icon.

Another significant fix is the audio distortion issues that were plaguing the iPad Pro and regular iPads. Audio distortion can be a real nuisance, especially when watching videos or listening to music. Thankfully, this issue has been resolved in iOS 7.1 beta 3, ensuring that audio playback should be smooth and clear.

In addition to these fixes, iOS 7.1 beta 3 also addresses the "Home button delay" issue. Some users reported experiencing a slight lag when switching between the home screen and the multitasking window or using the Ops switch (more commonly known as the "Swipes" gesture). This issue has been resolved in this latest update.

It's worth noting that I, personally, never experienced this issue on my iPhone 8, so it's likely that this fix won't affect most users. However, for those who did experience the delay or lag, this is definitely a welcome change.

One notable "fix" that I should mention is related to the male issue. In my previous video on iOS 11.1 beta 1, I discussed an issue with deleting and re-adding accounts causing problems. As it turns out, simply deleting and re-adding the accounts resolved this issue for me. It's a bit ridiculous, but at least it's fixed now.

Battery Life in iOS 7.1 Beta 3

As of beta 2, battery life was reportedly around the same as iOS 11.0.3. There's no indication that iOS 7.1 beta 3 has improved or changed this aspect of the update. However, I'll be discussing my experiences with battery life in more detail in a follow-up video, so stay tuned for that.

going to talk about here in a minute but first let's talk about the build number here so we can see the build number 15 B 5 0 8 6 a so of course still a long build number as we are expected to have some more betas here with 11.1 so let's go back to the home screen now and talk about some of these changes and bug fixes here in iOS 7.1 beta 3 so you're not gonna notice anything visually that's changed here in beta 3 there's no new settings pains or anything like that there's nothing new on the home screen but there is a major major fix with beta 3 and that major fix is something I've been talking about for months now and that is the 3d touch stutter it has finally been fixed it's like a miracle it's finally been fixed you can see there's no slight stutter anymore when you go ahead and 3d touch on any icon there used to be a slight stutter but now there's absolutely no stutter with 3d touching so this is a miracle and it's really great to see the Apple listen to us and you know because I mentioned this and literally every single iOS 11 made a video I talked about the 3d touch stutter and how it needed to be fixed so it's finally here now remember this day October 16th the day Apple finally fixed the 3d touch stutter now obviously this is not going to be a big deal to most of you guys because most of you are just you know casual everyday users but for me somebody who's talked about this and every single video wish for a fix for so so long it's really great to see but once again for most of you guys it's not really going to be a big deal but it's still nice to be finally fixed so aside from that fix we do also have audio distortion issues that have been fixed with the iPad so the iPad pro and the regular iPad both had a fix here in beta 3 to fix the audio distortion issues obviously I don't have iOS 7.1 running on an iPad pro but that has been fixed now another thing that people were talking about was the home button delay so apparently that has been that did fix it it's ridiculous that I had to do that but that was a bug that I was facing I know it wasn't very popular not too many people had it but that was something I was facing and I fixed it
