My Ultimate Desk Setup Tour!

My Workspace Setup: A Tour of My Office Space

Today's video is going to be a little bit different as I've been asked by several people what my workspace setup looks like. While I have shown some aspects of it in previous videos, I think it's time for a more in-depth look at where I work. As we enter my office space, specifically on the side that doesn't belong to me, I'll take you through each section of my desk and share what makes it unique.

On one side of my desk, I have an old R9 380 graphics card with 2 gigabytes of memory attached to a boring-looking lamp. It's not the most exciting piece of hardware, but it serves its purpose. Moving over to the next area, we have my lovely power strip that can handle all sorts of equipment and peripherals. This is where I plug in all my gadgets, from my computers to my speakers.

My desk plant, Fern, sits proudly on one side of the table, adding a touch of greenery to my workspace. Next to her is my library, featuring some classic works by Charles Dickens, including "Oliver Twist." It's a great way to take a break and get lost in a good book. On the next card, I have my miscellaneous electronics box where I store various cables, adapters, and other bits and bobs that don't fit anywhere else.

My main computer is situated at the center of my desk, and it's a beauty. I use this laptop for all my editing work, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the industry. It's a 2016 model, with a touch bar and upgraded graphics card. The 2017 model is actually slightly cheaper if you opt for the top-tier upgrade, which I've done myself.

To the left of my computer, we have an LG 34-inch ultra-wide monitor that used to be on sale at some point. Although it's no longer in stock, I'm glad I was able to snag it when I did. Next to the monitor is a Red Dragon keyboard that I reviewed earlier and loved. It's a great piece of equipment for anyone looking for an alternative to their standard keyboard.

On the bottom of my desk, we have a range of PCs that still work, although some of them don't come with hard drives. This is where I store all my backup files and other essential data. Alongside these computers are several MacBook Pros, including models from 2008, 2009, and 2015. Yes, you read that right – 2008! These older machines required some extensive repairs before they were fully functional again.

One of the standout features of my workspace is my comfy office chair. Although it's not a gaming chair, I love sitting in this thing for hours on end without feeling any discomfort. The armrest doesn't actually come with a screw, which is quite frustrating. However, I've learned to live with it and find ways to work around the issue.

As we move towards the back of my desk, you'll notice that I have an LED lighting setup running along the wall behind me. This adds a nice touch of ambiance to my space and makes the room look less crumbly overall. Speaking of which, there is a giant crack in the table beneath my computer – it's become quite a conversation starter over time.

Finally, we have my ultimate workspace set up. As I mentioned earlier, this area is designed to minimize distractions and maximize productivity. When you take care to avoid hitting the fan located nearby, you'll be able to focus on your work without any interruptions.

That concludes our tour of my workspace setup. I hope you enjoyed seeing where I spend most of my time working, and I'm always happy to answer questions or discuss topics related to computers and technology. If there's anything specific you'd like to know more about, please let me know in the comments below.
